I like to personalise the way I teach for each student. Sometimes we may star from scratch, or build upon what you've already accomplished. I try to find techniques that would work for you. We can go through songs and break down each song, learning the proper techniques and refining your sound.
Hop onboard the singing train and let's go on an adventure! Singing is close to magic. It brightens your day and is scientifically proven to relieve stress levels. It's also great to be able to sound like a rockstar! Generally, lessons will begin with breathing exercises as this is the major key ;) to singing.
I am very passionate about music of all genres (contemporary, rock, funk, etc.) I have taught music theory, practical knowledge, basic skills and song-writing. And from the experience of teaching these years, I think I am a good teacher who can make students feel comfortable and safe, and I love to encourage them so often times my students all progress A LOT within just in a few months.
My teaching method is to learn how to sing freely with good technique as to not to hurt the voice. We work on correct breathing, posture, pitch, dynamics, diction. Learn how to sing in a fun environment .
I teach people of all ages in music theory and practicals. If you want to learn to play the piano or the recorder I can teach it to you from the basics. I can also teach you to sing and learn techniques on how to improve your voice range or learn to harmonise or to read music. I also teach music theory where you learn the building blocks which lead to great musical compositions.
My teaching philosophy is let students to be themselves , make everyone a confident , spontaneous learner by encouragement , mental support and creating interesting learning experience through processes of activities. With kids teach group lessons experience and 1 on 1 basis adult lessons experience with a kind , hard-working and friendly syllabus.
Hi there! :) I am Wyandrhine and I am an 18 year old high school graduate from Northpine Christian College. I believe my music education in and outside of school, practical experiences, self-learning, and my enthusiastic and outgoing personality would make me your great tutor.
My lessons will start with basic breathing techniques and warm ups, followed by working through a range of genres that the student is willing to dive into. This allows growth in techniques that are present in different genres. We work to have fun pieces, technical pieces and those we aim to perfect in the future. My students always arrive and leave with a smile on their face.
I like my students to be comfortable but they know I like to get their best work out of them with an easy going approach. Hard work pays off, but not in an old-school sense. I like students to focus on their interest areas but with honest guidance.
Lessons are centralised around the artistic and technical desires of the student / performer - whatever your personal wishes and goals are in singing and music, our lessons will be uniquely tailored and shaped to suit. There is a focus on building a student's vocal technique and growing their ability as a performer and storyteller.
I approach each student by assessing their learning style (visual, aesthetic etc). We have set tasks in place and goals to reach as to build our repertoire and knowledge. In understanding why we do what we do, we can then develop our skill sets more effectively.
I believe that music is a fluid and living form of expression. As each person is different so too will be their musical style, practice and mentality be. Because of this, I tailor my lessons to the students needs, hoping to nurture and grow the untapped potential of everyone single person.
My teaching is based upon gaining an understanding of what the student wants to get out of learning the guitar and move forward with a fun and structured approach to achieve that goal, whether that be to learn songs, follow a formal grading route, develop technique or learn new skills - beginner to advanced.
My teaching Method is practical, aiming to train the voice itself. In the process you will learn musical skills which will help you excel in your singing ability. As a fresh and young male voice, I can better connect with a younger student through being able to relate my experiences with them. I can work with most genres (Pop and indie) as well as choral performance.
My teaching method is fluid based on the individual's learning style and desired outcome. I ask all students to decide on their goals and time frame and we work together to achieve this. I believe that music is a joy and aim to foster that joy in others.
I look for sheet music of songs that the students would like to learn, and teach them to read the sheet music and play the songs on the piano. Students will learn and practice the songs until they can play the whole song beautifully.
I gained my strong foundation in the areas of Music Theory and Harmony, Musical Composition, vocal pop and knowledge and understanding in popular and jazz music. My areas of expertise are playing guitar and teaching Baroque, Classical, Spanish, Flamenco, Persian, Mediterranean and South American music.
I attempt to have a fun approach to my lessons. A typical lessons with me will include of a 5-10 minute warm up, specificity chosen and adapted for the student. The rest of the lesson will then comprise of working on technique and songs. I try to work my lessons around the student making sure their enjoyment and goals are being reached by the end of each session.
I am a friendly, professional and musical individual who understands that the one lesson plan is not going to be suitable for each student. I tailor each lesson to you, but there will be a focus on vocal tech.
Piano tutoring: Beginner to intermediate level students. I have experience with AMEB exam preparation (up to grade 8) or school exam preparation (up to year 11). For students simply aiming to enjoy playing piano and reading music, I have developed engaging programs that fast-track your progress.
Being a young individual myself, I am able to easily connect with younger students, and also have experience in childcare and youth work. In saying this however, I do not exclude mature age students from my tutelage, and am comfortable and confident in conversing with older pupils.
I come from a musical background having had 14 years of experience on performing live on stage, community functions and events, teaching vocal performance and technique as well as engaging effectively with students, teachers and professional development. I have my own productions company and I teach classes ranging from singing, vocal lessons, scriptwriting, theatre performance.
A self-taught musician, I have been playing in bands for close to 10 years. I excelled in practical music class through high school, and obtained a Certificate 3 in Music at TAFE.
My teaching method is based on students current needs and working on adaptable skills (such as rhythmic work) not just focusing on learning pieces is a high priority, because it is a fundamental skill in musicology. I am also looking to becoming a teacher with the Suzuki method because I believe in its teaching practices.
Customized private lessons will be given based on the learner needs including the prior knowledge/learning experience so i can get the idea about where to start or what need to be improved. The teaching books i chose would be also depending on the learners' needs such as age, preference, learning purpose and prior experience.
I give my best teaching style to my students through honesty, patience, support and empowering them with the new knowledge of what musical technique is! I enjoy watching a students progress unfold as they aim to fulfil their musical goals.
I base my classes on learning theory and technical skills first so that the student has the knowledge to support what they are learning. I make sure the class is fun and interative especially for younger kids so they can stay engaged and have a hands on learning experience.
Hi there music lovers! For those looking to learn basic guitar, feel free to touch base. I have been playing guitar since 13 yo. We will focus on the basics - reading chords, how to strum, and get you started with your fave songs first.
I tend to care to the students needs based off of what the students interests are. For example, some students may need a little bit of help with timing so I may use a clapping method whilst getting them to sing. I also go through different songs based off of the students preferences.
My teaching method begins with constructivism and branches into various techniques - scaffolding, discussion, brainstorming, problem solving, games etc. - depending on the cognitive and physical needs of my students, the tasks at hand while guiding them to their full potential as life-long learners.
