I teach beginner guitar using the teaching book ‘Progressive Beginner Guitar, by Gary turner. If the student just wants to learn rhythm guitar. I can teach them chords using my own knowledge or by using Progressive beginner guitar Chords by Gary Turner. All books would need to be either purchased by the student. Or reimburse the cost to me during the lesson.
I like to base my classes on the way I learned piano when I was younger. No exams, nothing that puts too much pressure on your child as this can take the love of music away from a person.
Hi there! :) I am Wyandrhine and I am an 18 year old high school graduate from Northpine Christian College. I believe my music education in and outside of school, practical experiences, self-learning, and my enthusiastic and outgoing personality would make me your great tutor.
I look for sheet music of songs that the students would like to learn, and teach them to read the sheet music and play the songs on the piano. Students will learn and practice the songs until they can play the whole song beautifully.
My teaching methodology is to make sure my students really understand the concepts they are learning and why they work. I want my students to be able to apply their knowledge in different contexts, not just reproduce information. As a qualified teacher I have experience working with students with different learning styles and I am able to cater my lessons towards those students.
I think it is necessary to have friendly, open contact with student, so 30 minutes lesson, which is popular in Australia, is to short from my point of view. My lessons are 40 minutes length ( could be longer too:). In my lessons we have time for technical exercises, learning to read music from notes, perform for audience:), sing, also music theory/history and principals of song writing.
I gained my strong foundation in the areas of Music Theory and Harmony, Musical Composition, vocal pop and knowledge and understanding in popular and jazz music. My areas of expertise are playing guitar and teaching Baroque, Classical, Spanish, Flamenco, Persian, Mediterranean and South American music.
I attempt to have a fun approach to my lessons. A typical lessons with me will include of a 5-10 minute warm up, specificity chosen and adapted for the student. The rest of the lesson will then comprise of working on technique and songs. I try to work my lessons around the student making sure their enjoyment and goals are being reached by the end of each session.
I am a friendly, professional and musical individual who understands that the one lesson plan is not going to be suitable for each student. I tailor each lesson to you, but there will be a focus on vocal tech.

Struggling with your range or endurance vocally? Can't finish your songs or get them to sound as good as they do in your head? I've been there too. I'll come to you or you can come to me, we'll play, enjoy ourselves, come up with a plan and a strategy that suits us; and through mutual hard work, learning will ensue.
I can do introductory lessons for multiple instruments, as well as advanced level music theory and composition lessons, aiming to transfer my personal understanding of music, as well as those commonly accepted, to young students in a patient and focused manner, encouraging independent development of one's own talents and skills.
Brisbane based Musical Theatre student at the Queensland Conservitorium of Music, with a lot of experience in Musical Theatre and the music world. I have been around music my whole life and have a huge passion for sharing that love of music.

I have won a singing competition in Poland, have been selected as one of the best HSC Music performaces and asked to perform solos in the Opera House. These lessons are suitable for any teenagers and adults with already some sort of musical or vocal knowledge or training willing to learn classical, Russian/Italian style vocal technique.
I offer private tutoring as well as small session tutoring for band camps / workshops. I am able to teach AMEB content if you / your child wishes to sit exams. I teach half-hour lessons and understand that each student is unique and will have their own way of learning.
Lessons tailored for where a student begins. Can start by teaching basic chords, and fundamentals like; names of the strings, parts of the guitar, tuning your instrument. Can then begin to expand on jazz chord structures and lead playing in blues of jazz styles. Speciality is equipping students to sing and play.
I tailor my lessons according to individual needs. Be it classical, rock/pop, jazz, church music, or even songwriting, I can tailor the class to what the student wants out of their lessons. I am a patient teacher though I can be strict if necessary.
My teaching methods are based around what my students' goals are and their topics of interest. I have taught a range of ages and abilities from beginner to advanced, from prior music students or complete beginners so don't hesitate to contact me regardless of ability level.
STAY & THINK. Go too fast to the goal will be a dangerous choice to do. In my experience, people may know the best choice for them themselves, but it may be not the best one actually. Teachers need to do is adjust their way not their choice.
