My lessons are geared toward students who have a passion for learning more about human social interactions and philosophies surrounding these interactions. I will give a brief overview of theory followed by questions asked in order to stimulate critical thinking around the topic at hand.
I use a mix of creative/workshop methods, textual analysis and 1 on 1 discussion. I have worked with marginalised communities ranging from trans and gender-diverse people, Indigenous elders and youth, non-english speaking backgrounds, and nuero-diverse people, adapting for their respective needs.
I like to investigate the way the discipline is originally taught to the student, their interests and difficulties, and then start interference. I plan everything in advance but I give way to improvisation, seeking to respect student time and other conditions that influence learning.
I firmly believe that the most important thing, when dealing with matters related to the humanities, is to begin with an analysis of the reading ability and comprehension of texts and then, taking in mind the strengths and weaknesses of the student. design together strategies to apprehend the knowledge required and for which I have been contacted.
I am a university student in Psychology. I finished the Secondary in the area of Languages and Humanities and over time I gained a great taste and acquaintance for the discipline of History and I would love to be able to help you if necessary.
My lessons are based initially looking for what will be the key topic, using unconventional methods such as videos, films and stories to "stitch" the pupil's lesson on the basis of his method of memorization and his abilities. I try to make things easy that could be difficult.
