The methodology of my classes will depend on the student's age and previous knowledge in music. In general my classes are divided into four parts: 1. Feedback from the previous class. 2. Warm-up exercises 3. Learn a new piece of music 4.
I'm playing piano over 15 years and i'm experienced with children and beginner(adult). i want to make good citizens. if a child hears fine music from the day of his birth and learns to play it himself, he develops sensitivity , discipline and endurance. He gets a beautiful heart.
My classes have no other objective than music itself, this means that all knowledge and all technique only makes sense when applied to music itself. There is nothing that motivates students more than knowing how well they play piano and this is only achieved through a clear and unique orientation designed for each student.
People learn differently and therefore different teaching methods are required for each different student. Kinetic engagement is a demand of most musical pursuits but some people benefit from a strong grounding in music theory before advancing with hands on training.
I am a firm believer in finding a teaching method best suited to each individual student. If a student is experiencing any difficulties in a particular area, it is most likely due to a failed approach. It is my goal to ensure every student is completely enjoying their instrument, both at lessons, and during personal practice at home.
My teaching method is based on your need and flexible teaching. It must be step by step and in detail.I will set different classes to various students from the basic to the difficult level. Besides, it is important to practice more and I can also accompany with the practice .
I am currently conducting a PhD Research for Music at the Griffith University. I have recently relocated from Hamburg, Germany back to Australia. I have over 10 years of piano teaching experience with students from the age of 4 to the age of 60 +. John Thompson Methods, Yamaha Music Education Methods, Creative Methods that suits your personal needs.
Development of a healthy technical foundation including breath management skills, body awareness and style appropriate vocal techniques as well as the skills required to perform. A fun and relaxed environment for all ages and levels of experience to learn and achieve personal goals.
Theory also with technique of playing piano, from Classic to Romantic period and so on, also exam skills will be taught
My main philosophy, and from what I've seen from teaching previous students, is that what people understand the content they are faced with, their enjoyment is immediately heightened. It is important that students are enjoying the work they are doing and this enjoyment comes directly from feeling confident and understanding the content.
I base my classes on building technique from the start so that students don't injure themselves during practice performance. I teach in a multitude of styles including rock, pop, jazz and classical. I believe that students should have the freedom to choose styles that suit them but will also challenge them to step outside their comfort zones.
What do you want to learn - to read music? To learn a specific piece? To prepare for an exam? Or just to have fun? Whatever your goal is, my aim is to help you reach it and my lessons are planned accordingly.
I teach people of all ages in music theory and practicals. If you want to learn to play the piano or the recorder I can teach it to you from the basics. I can also teach you to sing and learn techniques on how to improve your voice range or learn to harmonise or to read music. I also teach music theory where you learn the building blocks which lead to great musical compositions.
My teaching method revolves around the needs of each individual student. For mature age students, I understand that life is busy and there isn't always time for practice. So I structure lessons around maximizing time efficiency and achieving results quickly. For younger students, I'm confident about simplifying information and making it digestible. My lessons structures will be long term.
I base my teaching on Yamaha's curriculum and methods, but I can teach any other curriculum as requested, as long as I have the syllabus.
I will teach you classic pieces but I will also give you bits of pop.
I like one on one lessons, with a logistical approach to mastering any piece of music, starting with one bar of music at a time, making sure to handle each hand well before putting left and right together, then moving on to the next phrase or bar.
My teaching method is PATIENCE. I know is not easy but must be fun. I like to teach what my students like to play, you can choose the music (classic, modern, etc...) I teach to kids and adults, your age doesn't matter at all.
I believe everyone has a different way of learning and so my lessons aim to explore concepts in as many ways as possible. Rather than trying to teach a basic understanding of a lot of concepts, I will try and teach a deep understanding of a few. I feel the depth in understanding allows students to fully utilise the concepts in a practical way.
The philosophy of my teaching is that truly understand music students must learn to love it! I will keep rigid formats to a minimum so as to keep the lessons fluid and fun. My lessons are geared towards beginner and intermediate piano students who have an interest in learning new songs and developing the skills needed to learn independently.
My teaching method is for students to develop a connection to the piano through the kinds of music they personally enjoy. I will integrate music theory into the practice of my students, so they can learn how to improvise and potentially write their own music.
My teaching method is to first engage the child with music itself and piano as an instrument - if they’re not interested, they won’t learn.
My teaching philosophy is to learn piano with joy and become friends with it till your entire life. Thus, apart from solo pieces which are the core learning, I often and encourage students to add some piano duet repertoires in their lessons so that a variety of melodies can be played and heard.
My philosophy is that music can be used as a creative outlet for people of all ages, skill levels and walks of life. Everyone has the potential to become a confident gigging musician if they have the determination and perseverance.
My teaching method is I will corrent the mistakes made by students in the performance and give them patient guidance，Practice with them on piano pieces of different difficulty levels.
My teaching method is based on YOU. The first two classes will take you over the basics, and over the course of those classes, I will estimate what kind of a teacher I should be for the most effective learning learning session.
Classes can have a duration of 30-60 minutes or longer, depending on the student’s needs. I like to mix lessons using four hand pieces from early levels, introducing different styles of music and incorporating theory, technical and sight-reading exercises for a more enjoyable lesson. I delight in restoring a passion for music to the learner.
I balance the teaching of Pieces,Theory and technique introducing new concepts as the need and interest of students arises.I include some ear training, rote learning, memorising, reading practise and can include improvising.
My teaching methodology is based on teaching the student's favourite songs and teaching the student how to play these songs by ear. These include any songs in any genre with any type of arrangement.
My teaching method is to teach students to read notes, for them to be able to read and play music on their own and learn a sense of rhythm. I wish for my students to learn pieces they enjoy and progress to playing with other musicians in the time they are ready.
