I have been teaching the piano for 10 years and I have my own ways to teach.
My teaching method is fun learning. I approach topic by social media and internet. Because with that tools, the kids will not boring. I also teach how to sing while playing piano.
I like to tailor my teaching to each individuals needs and desires. Although I teach some classical, I love to teach students chords as well so they can sit down and play anything. Lessons are available for singers wanting to accompany themselves on piano.
I balance the teaching of Pieces,Theory and technique introducing new concepts as the need and interest of students arises.I include some ear training, rote learning, memorising, reading practise and can include improvising.
My teaching method is person-oriented. I know from personal experience, being self-taught and then taught privately and in a tertiary institute, that the process of learning is awkward and mentally painful. But, I've also learned through personal experience that it doesn't have to be that way.
I structure my lessons based on the individual needs of the student. No two students learn the same way and make learning piano and theory fun for all ages.
My lessons are individually crafted, depending on your preferred style and goals Eg.
My teaching method is based on enjoyment because this is the main purpose of music. You choose the type of music you want to learn. If you don't like Classical, there will be no Classical. You can even provide a list of pieces you want to learn and I will help you find the ones that are challenging enough to progress your learning.
I can teach all ages and levels in piano studies. I can teach for pure enjoyment or to prepare for AMEB exams.
Everyone learns in different way so each method will be tweaked to the individual. Get the basics and go from there.
My teaching methods are very hands on and catered to each child’s needs having worked with kids who need help to stay focused and kids who are very interested
I base my teachings on experience; following books and exam guidelines (if they choose to exams). I am patient and supportive with all students.
I tailor my classes to what the student is wanting to achieve, and how they learn best. Patience and enjoyment are key! I can supply all sheet music and students can choose what they would like to learn, unless they want a program laid out for them (which I can arrange according to their interests).
My teaching method depends on the personality/performance level of the student. I believe that students learn differently so it is important to build a relationship with them to understand how they can best progress.
I would describe my teaching method as a funny time to share with the music. I think that it is important to enjoy while we are learning music.
Theory also with technique of playing piano, from Classic to Romantic period and so on, also exam skills will be taught
I am very dedicated to my students and always ensure that they perform to the best of their ability whether doing exams or play piano just for leisure. I am a teacher always willing to repeat something even 100 times to ensure my student fully understands the concept being taught.
Everyone learns differently! My first lesson is mainly an introductory lesson. This gives me a chance to learn a bit more about you. What you like listening to. What your ability is, and how to teach you efficiently :) After that we will slowly develop our music/ear abilities and also our music reading/theory abilities.
My lesson is based on ny experience, like how i was taught from my teacher and also how i taught my student when i work at piano academy. But also i offer you workbook for piano theory and also music score what you are going to learn.
My teaching method is one-on-one, giving confidence, support and encouragement in privacy. The reading skills and practical are incorporated together in the lessons, enabling students to realise that, by daily practice at home, being able to play the piano is very achievable and enjoyable. A practice plan is written out each lesson based on the individual student's progress.
I got a bachelor of music degree in China, and so far i have 7 years vocal coach ,piano, and music theory teaching experience in China . I am postgraduate student from Conservatory of music in University of Tasmania now.
My teaching method is lots of practice, patience and determination. I understand that some music pieces can be difficult so learning the pieces at a slow and steady pace wins.
To learning the people what they want to learn.
My methodology is largely centred around personal enjoyment and satisfaction. I believe that one must enjoy what they are doing in order to succeed and excel. I would absolutely love to share my passion for music with students, and hope to introduce them to a wide variety of genres and styles. A standard lesson would usually include some music theory, scales and then musical pieces.
Start with some theory and then a lot of practice and methods to let the fingers move better and independent
My teaching method comes in three parts; lecture/discussion - theory, practical - playing, and finally constructive, helpful and positive criticism
I have mainly taught beginners and have preferred Alfred's library of books and flashcards and other resources.
My teaching method is fairly traditional, ie. Covering the rudiments of theory, teaching how to read music, learning about time reading, musical expression and technique.
My teaching Methods based on students needs and knowledges.Mostly, focus on scales, chords, techniques in improvisation in any genres (Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Latin, Rock, etc).
