Hey! I'm a Dutch mechanical engineer that is currently travelling through Australia. In order to earn extra pocket money, I have started to teach local students in Maths, physics and chemistry at all levels. Having recently finished my own education, I know where most of the pitfalls are for students starting out in the field or having to finish their primary education.
Focus on the very basics and building skills from ground up. Step by step approach. Special focus on analytical methods to approach problems. Emphasis on interaction during thought process and use enough exercises to enhance and consolidate the overall understanding.
I am a 22 year old uni graduate from the United States of America. My degree is in Mechanical Engineering Technologies in which I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I am looking to offer my expertise in math and physics to help high school and middle school students with their course load.
I believe that issues with classwork stems from problems in basic skills. I plan my lessons around basic skill improvement. I develop all of my own activities and take my time to explain relationships between sections of content with students. I feel as though this is more effective than helping students with their homework.
I have a first class honours in science (psychology) in which I also studied mathematics physics and chemistry. I have followed this degree with 30+ years as a computational neuroscientist and a Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary). My research also allows me to practice my mathematics and physics, applying them to modelling human memory, learning, cognition and abstract thought.
I have generally found that when someone doesn't understand something the best way of helping them is to do interspaced explanation and examples. So I will first explain the concept, then the student will attempt to do some problems of that type, then we will talk about it some more and potentially do some more examples to cement the concept in their mind.
My teaching approach is to help students having a solid understanding of the principles so they will be able to adapt that knowledge to solve the complex questions later on. I also believe in practice makes perfect so students need to do work as I am given them too.
One to one and group tutoring HSC Science, Physics, and Mathematics students ·Successfully improved student participation in the classroom through integration of creative role-playing exercises.
My "teaching method" is never the same for any two students. I beleive and have seen in my 5 years of tutoring, that every student learns in a different way and my goal is to find what works for you. This is one of the reasons why having a tutor can be very helpful, as it allows me to personalise all the content in a way that suits you best.
My teaching method is face to face. I have observed students motive to understand their weakness. Therefore, I discuss with students how to improve in that particular topic and chapter. I also take personal quiz after completing the lessons.
i can teach online. anything related to electronics, telecommunication, mathematics and control systems.
Hi! My lessons are geared towards hard-working people who have motivation to achieve better marks. My lesson are catered around the student and completely personalized, and the first lesson will be half price as i will spend time understanding the level of the student.
My style of Teaching is fun, flexible and enthusiastic, I love sharing my love of Maths and science with people, and love to help people understand tricky concepts I would structure my lessons by starting with Last weeks homework, or what I assigned for the student to study, then go on to what they learnt this week, and then assign them work to do for next week's lesson.
I based on class and topics related to syllabus. Bangladesh, and a PhD student of the University of Newcastle, tutoring is my great passion because I want to teach which I know, and I want to learn which I do not know. Just I wanna ensure you the quality teaching only.
My teaching method to the students are simple and clear so that the students have easy way to learn subjects.
I believe that every person has his own unique ways of learning. I use multiple ways or methods to help out students. Thus, I practice a lot with my student, by giving them more exercise and work to do. There is a saying in French which translates to" Repetition is the mother of science".
First I prepare an outline. I set the lessons that I want to cover within the scheduled time I prepare. I am also available to the students after hours and I prefer to be connected with students by phone, email and other social media. I listen to the students. I prefer feedback from my students. I check the performance of my class through regular assessments, assignments, class tests etc.
Face to Face communication. Or any other mode like Skype, What's App, Facebook messenger, Over phone, Viber, Instagram, library sitting.
First of all, I will help my students to review the textbook. Then help them solve the problems in their homework. They will also be tested regularly.First of all, I will help my students to review the textbook. Then help them solve the problems in their homework. They will also be tested regularly.
I'm very friendly and understanding and therefore it is essential for me that my students feel comfortable with asking any questions that need answering. As a tutor my job is to focus on the points that the students struggles, fill any gaps in their knowledge and give them an opportunity for adequate practice and feedback.
The first step in my tutoring would be to study the syllabus and determine what needs to be learned. After this, I would take a step by step approach through each topic that help is required for and guide the student through it.
I am Civil Engineer with extensive experience of teaching math, physics and mechanics during my university life. I believe every student is unique, so should the teaching method for them, so I usually customize my teaching method according to the need of student.
Contact me and explain the area and level of understanding required. eg. year 10, Advanced Maths, Trig Math from all levels welcome, eg Kindergarten - Year 12, individual or small group lessons, learning disabilities Either bring your own text book and questions you need help with or use my personal resources. Overview of focus area of lesson: specific theory, rule, principals explained .
My teaching method is student orientated.
My teaching is primarily focused on the student's difficulties in class, helping them catch up on missed on confusing topics to keep them on track at school.
My teaching method is explaining the theories and methods with the assistance of problems and diagrams as per requirement. I train students in solving problems and answering short answer and free response questions. Special training is provided for tackling multiple choice questions.
My teaching method is to go through worked examples and notes, providing a deeper understanding to the topic. Go through questions students may have on homework assignments or in class tests and to do practice examples to increase a students knowledge to become more confident.
I believe in practice makes perfect. Learning through practicing examples and applying concepts to everyday life. I find when I learn if I can relate a topic to everyday examples and make it real it helps to cement the topic in my mind. This helps when it comes to recalling for exams.
