My teaching method will be to focus more on helping the students to understand better about the subject, being an engineering student I have learnt that it’s important to have a better understanding of high school mathematics as it makes things much easier in university.
As I studied Science from secondary school to my last year of my Master's degree, I've always thought that some concepts are really hard to understand if you can't make it yours. Practical and common examples of some Math methods or Physics laws can make the difference to understand them.
My teaching method is based on five principles: Interaction between the tutor and students, Cooperation among students encouraging group works, Active learning, Encouraging the students and communicating high expectations, Respect each students ways of learning and talents. Before the start of the lesson I give a brief outline of what we are going study.
Theory will remain as theory unless you gain experience in applying it. And what better way to gain experience than by solving problems? After laying the theoretical foundations, I will walk through solutions for numerous examples, therefore giving the student sufficient practice in the correct methodology to tackle a certain topic.
My teaching methodology in class room is always to benchmark the student who is weak is studies/concepts. It is preferred to know student's basic/foundation of relative subject. Then if it is required to revise the basic concepts we will manage the time according but never compromise on the understanding the subject. I try and tailor my teaching methods to the needs of the student. In my experience some students learn best if they do a lot of practice problems, others learn better if they are taught to visualize the process in their mind and others if they hear the physics or Math concepts be compared to other concepts they are already familiar with.
I will not say I strictly follow text books. But I do give extreme importance to the basics of any topic. If the building foundation is not strong enough, the whole building will fall down. I believe every student should be at least aware of all the approaches there is to a problem, and choose a solution most fit for the problem. I think that exercises the mind and expands knowledge.
Everyone has a unique special way of understanding things but in general my methodology is to relate exercises and problems to the real world, I believe this is the best way to get a grasp on a concept.
I used to take lectures for undergraduate engineering students. I take both class lesson and practical lesson( either arranging some tour or laboratory experiments). The class lessons are generally based on fundamental and development of physical theory. Digital media can be used for better and easier understanding.

My teaching method differs from student to student. I will need to know which method suits them best. Generally, communication between student and teacher is very important. I believe in structured two way learning, this means that I go with an approach that allows student to ask questions. QUESTİONS... We will be solving a lot of those. Based on what I have seen after years of studying Maths, the best and the only way to get the top grades is solving as many questions as you can. I will be giving homework and practice questions weekly and I will also expect you to email them if you don't understand.
I believe in building problem-solving and critical thinking acumen and not in just memorization. After all we must learn to enjoy and apply the understanding of the subjects we are learning.
I am very patient and flexible. Being a student at university, I understand both the tutor's and the student's perspective of learning and I apply different methods to suit each student. I always take the time to understand the student's learning style. Having the student to love what she/he is studying achieves much more than teaching could solely achieve.
