You will be using your own camera and will be taking all your own images on your equipment. I can help you set up your camera, teach you the basic settings and get out of the dreaded Auto Setting. I can show you lenses that best capture what you want to specialize in.
Our photography sessions will be open ended, I love the process of photographing and find joy in sharing that with other people. The best way to learn photography is to walk around and take photos, so our sessions will take place outside on the street wherever the day takes us.
My teaching is client lead, meaning that every lesson is tailored to the individual or group that I meet. This is best suited to photography as everyone, including professionals have not only a different level of skill but also a different perspective on what they want a camera to do for them.
My teaching method is very calm ,professional and relaxed. I strive to ensure that my teaching materials (and its method of delivery) is both relative to my students' needs.
The lesson will teach you all about photography and cinematography from basics. It will be covering all aspects of photography and cinematography.
I believe every one learns in their own individual way, thus teaching skills may be adjusted to suit each student. I would like to see examples of your previous photos, and discuss what type of photographs you would like to learn. During the lesson, I will teach you about composing, lighting, framing and all other camera techniques which can help you enjoy taking photos.
My teaching method is always based on what can be achieved in practice rather than relying solely on theory. It’s about demonstrating how to approach and resolve ideas through real-world methods and ways of thinking.
I approach the theory lessons first for in-depth understanding and secondly by developing the practical lessons afterwards, time to time I hand out study assignments or projects to accomplish. And when it comes to Photography I do go for monthly Photowalk to analyse my student progress.
While theory is important to understand, in my opinion, the best way to become a better photographer is to be out in the field and pratice. This is how I'll be teaching you. Experimenting with lighting, locations and perspective will provide you with the foundations to be creative and produce stunning photos.
I am a kind people person with a bright & bubbly personality and a lively sense of humour. I have been working in customer service for almost a decade, and have a patient and caring demeanour when it comes to teaching.
I've only worked one on one and would like to continue helping others achieve images they have yet to be able to capture. I can work with you on your system so that you're familiar with it and you don't leave trying to remember how a particular setting was achieved.
I like to teach face to face. I start by raising awareness on the 'why' the students decided to embrace a camera. Then I continue with an introduction on the basics of photography and camera settings. We jump straight into practice our skills outside, either at the beautiful Abbotsford Convent or in the city, depending on the theme we have chosen.
With me you will learn: How to capture everyones beauty How to direct non professional and also professional models How to use the studio lighting depending of the mood you want for the images, depending of people's bodies, skin colors, heights, weights...
My method of teaching is to cut to the core of your creativity, looking at what is most important and inspirational to you. Developing individually crafted methods and plans to incorporate your purpose into your career.
My teaching method is finding out specifically what my pupil wishes to learn and base the lesson and teachings around that.
First lesson... Hands on camera exploring every button function. Followed by exposure control, composition and the use of light. Lessons can be tailored exactly to the information and level you require.
My teaching method is based on teaching core fundamentals in a relaxed conversational delivery with a hands on examples and exercises to complete. I will give takeaway reading material and notes and set a short photography project to complete. Course lengths can vary, but a minimum of six one hour sessions a week can give a good basic understanding.
I believe in practicality of lessons and theory. I'd like you to stark working and seeing the results every single day. Using right side of your brain I'll help you to tap into your creative talent and create images that you couldn't believe you would even been able to produce.
My teaching is personalized, which means it will depend in the needs or preferred methods of the student, this aims to make the learning process enjoyable and dynamic. My teaching is problem solved based so it is not only about receiving information but learning how to use it in different situations.
I like to start with very basic stuff (composition, light, etc) so you won't even need an expensive camera to take my class! Once we start learning the basis we can go to the advance course and of course some photography walks to practice everything.
My teaching method is really simple. I try to teach basic concepts of photography and then just push them aside, because, at the end of the day, your creativity is what that matters. I like to give small assignments around the place of living to teach people how any everyday object can turn into a beautiful picture.
My approach is based on practical learning through weekly sessions
My teaching method is based on sharing the knowledge I have acquired both through learned and practical experience as well as the experience gained by working with different clients. The lessons structure is usually dictated by what the student wants to learn and my first question to anyone is "what do you want to get out of this lesson".
I love to talk; a lot. I always talk with people and know what their interests are and start teaching based on what they want to learn, so that the classes doesn't get boring. I start from the basics of photography till various tips and trick for professional photography. I have a package for you to understand better what will you be learning during the course.
I topic on step by step basis, i exhaust one topic and offer practical and questions before i embark on another topic
I always believe in the practical approach for photography. The theory can be learnt later, but hands on experience in what matters in the world.
Beginners always want to play with the camera. When we try to teach them all the parts of the camera and what each part does, this can be boring for many of them. So I always try to give them practical experience, actually taking photographs, while teaching them at the same time. I especially like to teach students triangle exposure.
My teaching method is to teach what my client wants to know and still reinforce basic photography foundations. I tailor my teaching depending on clients' wants and goal. I enjoy meeting client needs and love it when I get a message saying "This is so beautiful Hilda".
My teaching method is very casual. I like to first ascertain where the learning is most necessary and work from there. Students are not alike beyond the surface, and teaching and communication needs to be tailored to suit. Also, given the landscape of photography, no two photographers are the same either (students or accomplished artists).
Mostly photo walks. My classes will be conducted outdoors. We may go to different locations like the city, parks, or beaches. Depending on the student's skill level, we will have a 20-30 minutes brief and Q&A before we start the photo walk.
