My methodology is based on didactics, that is, on learning-doing, learning-playing. This is the only way that knowledge is not forgotten and children want to continue learning, until they are curious about what I am teaching. Para mi es aprender-jugando, aprender-haciendo.
I apply a communicative approach. This means that lessons are marked by interaction and meaningful communication at a customised pace for all ages and student's specific purposes.
In general, each class is divided into two parts: in the first stage a conversation is established according to the topics that the student expressed interest, and about which I as a teacher must be previously informed, and then dynamic activities are proposed according to the Spanish level of each person.
My name is Alba and I am 25 years old, native Spanish teacher graduated in the University of Barcelona (UB). I believe in interactive and fun lessons. I base my lessons in students necessities, each person needs to improve different skills, and my task as a teacher is to adapt the lesson structure to each student, so in my teaching methodology the student is the focus.
I approach topics by • Level of the language • Personal interests • Selected interest topics • Introduction to the topic of interest. • Practical review with videos, songs, movies, discussions, articles, games or any material of interest.
My teaching method incluid listening and speaking lesson with context. Then, I used basic grammar to explain the Spanish structure. First, I teach basics phrases to communicate in Spanish and I use some examples like videos or photos to talk about it.
During my years as a Teacher, I implemented extensive improvements that resulted in the learning and success of my students. I taught myself new techniques over a weekend in order to obtain the best results with my students. I plan my lessons according to the learners needs and I use an experiencial method that allows the students toreach their own concepts.
I like to make all the students participate so I make games but always focusing on pronunciation and grammar. This two are really important for me. I also make students talks a lot in between them. Plus I play shorts videos to relate with the day's lesson.
I base my classes on communicative, task-oriented and action-oriented approach, which means give great importance to the interactios as a method that promotes the participation of the student in the teaching / learning process. Learn the language in real contexts. On the other hand, it is argued that Students learn not only in the classroom, but also in authentic situations out of the classroom.
I like to use theatrical methods to learn the language. So in the classes: you will learn by playing! My classes are fun. They can be individual, or in a group.
I prefer the Direct Approach when teaching Spanish although I'm open to the individual needs of my students. This teaching methodology puts emphasis on the spoken language and the development of oral skills, rather than the written form. Grammar isn’t taught explicitly but is learned inductively by the students through repeated exposure to the spoken language.
My teaching methodology is based in oral skills, focusing mainly in production, that is speaking. I use many resources and realia to approach the Spanish language to my students. Once I give them the structure, the skeleton of the language the proccess will be easy and fun.
We will set a theme or subject to work around it. Something in which my students are passionate about, in order to have fun and learn at the same time. Classes will have oral and written excercises, as well as accent and pronunciation focused.
My teaching method is one-to-one and group discussion, I give the student lot of room to talk and write, I give them different topics every lesson to discuss and analized, while I correct them with minimum interruptions it's great fun.
First I like to know the objective of the student so I can focus the course towards that end. Also I like to know some topics that are interesting to the student so I can add them to the classes and get their attention and make them learn with something they like.
I base my classes on an accurate mix of theory and practice because Students first need to increase their vocabulary and grammar to make sentences after that they will be able to use their oral communication to express their ideas and requirements.
I base my classes particularly on conversation. Also I encourage the student to watch movies and read books or interesting articles so to discuss them in class. Chat in Spanish via text message to practise and keep in touch by email. Excercises are essential for improve language be it oral or written.
I am a teacher since 2006 but I am student for many years too, so I am in two positions and I know what the students need and how can I give it them. Moreover, my focus always is the student and his needs and I try to do the more enjoyable and pleasant class.
my classes usually vary according to the energy you have, but in general a subject is taken out and a little spoken, in order to practice Spanish. Next, we study a little theory, in which I use a blackboard and after explaining and clarifying doubts, you can work in writing in pairs or individually. Afterwards, we usually do some games or we use didactic material to be able to practice orally.
My classes can be individual or in small groups. I always respect the level of teaching of each student and their progress in learning. Each person is different so it is important to adapt to each one. I base my teaching on vacabulary and useful phrases for life, to be able to travel, to meet people...
I believe that students need to be able to "produce": To me, Verbal and written production are essentials. The reason being is that students need to practice how to articulate the content they are learning. At the end of the day, acquiring a second language requires practice, and I believe the classroom is the best place to make mistakes.
Learning a language can be challenging! So my first step is to make you feel comfortable. Depending on your level, I will structure a fun, interactive and interesting class! I always try mt best to figure out the way YOU learn the best.
I bassed my class on goals, I like the class to be a good experience and have fun. I like dynamic classes and focus on the singularity of each one of my students. I'm a very patient teacher, so don't worry if it's not that easy to learn.
My teaching methodology is based on the student needs/profile and ultimate goals. However, there will be a Problem Based Learning Methodology to start each session. Other aids are: - Vocabulary; movies/music - Oral; conversation/movies - Written; exercises/repetition/articles/magazines/books - Cultural; articles/programs/news Feedback will always be important with students and parents.
I hate giving too academic lessons so I tried to be a little creative. We will speak only in spanish during all the lesson. We can start by telling each other how was our day or week-end. According to the needs, we will do some oral and written comprehensions through topics that attract you (videos, articles, songs...). But also we will do some oral and written comprehensions.
I like planning my classes accordance with your interests and objetive. We are going to have a first class to know each other and know about yourself, interests and goals. So in the next class I am going to propose you the way we are going to work to reach your goals with your Spanish learning.
I base my classes off the students needs/capabilites.For complete learners i like to start of with grammar and structure then move onto vocabulary. In each lesson you can expect worksheets and me there helping you through the content,i provide weekly quizzes and revision.
This will depend on which level you are speaking or reading in Spanish :) Can teach as simple as numbers, days of the week, greetings, basic sentence structures, animals etc and can teach you conversational Spanish, how to converse with your friends and family whether in the workplace, school or home :) Usually in the first lesson I get to know you a little bit and know where your level...
I base my classes with a dynamic lessons because I try don't repeat exercises and ways to tech classes. On first time, I want concentrate with speaking, reading and vocabulary. And the on next time, with grammar and writing.
My teaching methods is through oral sessions, writing season and depends of the goals of the student. This is why I teach individual so I can teach and help them to reach their goals. Some students wants to learn from the begging, others for traveling or meetings. The teaching sessions depends on the person.
