For me, it is essential to work with you on concrete projects according to your day-to-day interests. I build all my lessons from an action-based perspective: I like to integrate games into the phases of my lessons to make them fun and interactive.
I am very creative: as I taught a lot of different people, I have found different ways to teach. Every one is different and deserves the best, so I'm sure I will find the right way for you! I am patient, reliable, organised and very motivated.
I love making my classes interactive with quizzes and games because I believe that it's a better way for people to get engage and as well understand. I put a lot of emphasis on homework I prepare myself which I think is good for better learning.
When learning a foreign language, I know how important it is to approach it in a conversational and interactive way. My teaching methods are individually tailored and made as enjoyable as possible! Suitable for students of all ages, business people and future travellers to France, I'll adapt to your specific needs. I make a point to deliver an easy, agreeable and efficient way to learn.
My teaching method is based on three pillars, i.e grammar, vocabulary and practice. Each lesson will concentrate on a new subject and repeat the material of the previous lesson. We will use recordings and video material to make the course more interactive and efficient.
I strive to deliver language classes in a dynamic, topical, relevant and lively way to immerse my students in a new language. My teaching is focused on the student’s requirements respecting each different learner’s needs and abilities and continually empowering their achievements.
I first make sure that I understand the students’ needs and tailor my lessons accordingly; what they already know; what they want to improve and their learning speed. I approach topic by topic, that is, I make sure that my students understand the basic concepts before moving on to a new topic.
My teaching method will be adapted to each student's needs. In general, I will let the student pick a subject he is interested in (cinema, photography, literature, sport, politics, music, travel...) and develop a program based on this interest, so that he or she learns as many new words, expressions, grammar rules as possible.
I'm Harsha from Mauritius and I hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree From China. I have tutored French and English for 5 years in China. I am now in Australia pursuing my masters at Deakin University. I have good communication skills and I speak and write English, French, Mandarin and even Hindi fluently.
I combine fun with learning while incorporating games, videos and songs. I focus on the pronunciation and the accent and the writing and I recommend several interesting books and novels for reading. I have a different methodology for each age and level.
Everything is possible, it depends on your level and your motivation :-) We can start by some basic words, to present yourself. Then we can practice on some specifics theme to improve your vocabulary, your comprehension and pronunciation.
My lessons are geared towards school students learning (or wishing to learn) French. As a tutor, my priority is each individual student - assessing their needs and wants and working with them to make sure they achieve results. No two students are alike and I aim to accommodate each student individually. I would be happy to offer different types of lessons, depending on student needs and wants.
I like to base my method on what motivates the student. The point is to captivate one's atention and use it as a tool to learn more of the language. Any support can be used, such as song lyrics, movies, books, TV shows. Their translation helps understanding their context and meaning.
I base my sessions around the individuals understanding and needs. They are tailored to each person and what they may need help with or want to improve on. I believe in wrote learning but languages need to be spoken to be understood properly.
When teaching, I try to use repetition and to stimulate both the echoic and visual memory of my student. As everyone learns in a different way, I adapt my course for every student to make it as efficient as possible. I also try to make it fun and entertaining to help my students to remain focused and increase their motivation.
Salut (hey), my name is Utsav and I come from the beautiful island of Mauritius. I have been living in Brisbane for the last five years and recently obtained my bachelor degree with a major in civil engineering from the University of Queensland. I’ve studied French since I was 6 years old and obtained an A in French Advanced Level from the University of Cambridge.
I am a visual learner, spending most of my personal study time through flashcards, colours and all things energetic. For me, learning isn't about what you're teaching, it's about who you are teaching and I believe that this can be different for a lot of people. My aim is to get to know an individual's learning strengths before I decide what methodology is best.
At first I have to find out what is the goal of the person who wants to learn French and to be able to respond to her needs as much as possible. I try to find texts to work on matching the interest, activities or profession of the person. I choose text introducing grammar topics, so when the vocabulary is understood we can start training on this grammatical topics with exercises.
My experience with language learning is that having an effective teacher can make a world of difference. So, in my lessons, I strive to be engaging and make the lessons enjoyable and interesting, whilst simultaneously being useful and rigorous. I also believe the lessons should be mostly student-centred.

Hello, My name is Fanny. As a Belgian girl, I'm perfectly fluent in French. I think that learning a language is easier when the student has fun. That's why I always try to use the student's hobbies in the lessons. In each lesson, you will learn about French grammar and vocabulary and we will use those new knowledges in parctical exercices. Obviously, I can adapt the lessons according to your need.
The best way of learning for HSC is practise practise and more practise. If you are just beginning or somewhere in the middle then the best way is by having a good student book, lots of speaking, listening and writing tasks.
I am an advocate of teaching in a way that best suits the individual student. This may be experiential, student directed, teacher directed- but I believe the best approach to learning is a combination of all these approaches to keep it interesting and engaging.
I try not to be too rigid about my approach. It depends on my student. It is all about creating a fun and creative lesson that would be interesting for everyone. I tend to use various material such as audio and visual ones.
I approach topics the students are interested in with the communicative language teaching or the structural approach depending on which technique is more suitable according to the student’s area of interest. Or, If you prefer a more spontaneous fun way to learn ... i am open to discussions.
- I would always put emphasise on oral communication and understanding the students' needs. I like to base my input on videos and current articles as a starting point in order to increase students' understanding of the language and of some aspects of the culture that are important for their cursus.
Visualisation, bring academic concepts to life(visual and practical learning).Students will be able to understand how their language capabilities apply in the real-world. Also, I use cooperative learning through inquiry-based instruction and differentiation technique, managing students behaviour and improving their professional development succefully.
My teaching method is based upon my student's needs and will align with their existing knowledge of the language. My aim is to use what students already have, using their own preferred skills in order to progress. Indeed, everyone has different learning preferences and functions differently.
I identify the needs of the students and focus on supporting them through appropriate strategies and resources. I respond to the particular learning styles of my students, which can vary greatly. My recent experience as a VCE student and my current casual work with secondary students provide me with an insight into the expectations placed on students in order for them to succeed.
