I hold all my students in unconditional positive regard. I am respectful, patient and compassionate. I use empathy to connect and am quite creative in how I convey knowledge. I have worked with people ages 12-82.
My teaching Method is based on an assessment of your current English abilities, your area of interest and teaching you how to use the English language in your everyday life. If you have any areas you want to focus on please let me know. I would ask that you have a copy of the English Dictionary with you, a Notebook and Pen to prepare for our sessions together.
I teach students understanding Maths.- Relational Maths. When students are able to understand Maths, then they can relate to real life issues/ concept, they will embrace Maths.
I use trial and error approach in teaching, meaning that I allow students to compose their responses, then reflect on how it can be improved. This process is repeated until the student is able to compose a perfect response for any given question.
My methodology is simple, let's relax. After the ice is broken, I use the pedagogical method of I say, You say, We say! I find repetition is the best method of learning.
I do not follow a one-size-fits-all methodology. I like sitting down with students and understanding what the core issues are, then drafting a game plan. Tailor made sessions are the key to achieving all goals when it comes to language learning and perfecting.
My method is a two-way collaboration. I assess my students’ learning needs and continue from there. I’m smart, effective, professional, friendly and approachable. I am not strict but can guarantee that your English will improve efficiently. My students tell me that my lessons are very enjoyable.
To me - teaching English means designing a needs-based course so I address all desired outcomes and relevant competencies, incorporate all learning styles, demonstrate passion and enthusiasm, show respect for all students, give regular encouragement, share useful knowledge, English language 'tips' and undergo practice sessions using a variety of appropriate age-relevant learning and assessment...
I work with each student to learn their strengths and challenges in the area of English, and encourage them with engaging and challenging lessons, helping them to improve their confidence in expressing themselves using both written and oral English.
My teaching method depends on your knowledge and course basic requirement, from there we will determine which rout to take, and with a fully trust that I will teach you with a concept to provide you the best knowledge I got.
My teaching method is definitely performance based following audio visual techniques and materials. By creating 'situations' I usually start my speaking classes where the learners automatically involve themselves in speaking English spontaneously without any prior preparation at home.
My teaching method is individual focused and will comprise me creating my own papers and materials for the student to individually tailor lessons to their needs. I will also help with any school or university work required for them. My policy is that every student has potential that I can help them reach.
I differentiate my lessons according to the needs of my student. I consult with them and find out what their goals are and review pass assessments etc if available. I then design an individual programme that addresses their learning needs.
I usually try to develop an understanding of what my students require and then structure my lesson plan accordingly. I am a great communicator and try to build rapport with my students to empathize with their requirements so that I can encourage their growth and development in each step of the way.
I structure my classes based on any English topic a student is currently studying. They may send me a quick outline of their current program (such as what book they are studying, what assignment they are working on and so forth) so that I can prepare helpful information for them.
I am a positive and proactive person with a very down to earth personality. I have a great deal of patience. First I need to assess your requirements, strengths and weaknesses. Then I will tailor a lesson that suits you. I use a variety of teaching methods as every student learns differently. My lessons are fun dynamic and I am sure you will enjoy and benefit from them greatly.
My teaching methodology is Humanist - that is, I teach in the way that suits you best. We are all individual in the ways that we learn best. My job as your tutor is to understand your way and how we, together, can maximise your learning achievements.
I base my teaching on a students needs. I prefer a practical/ hands-on approach and want to make the lessons fun and realistic. I really understand how hard it is to understand our Australian accent, our "words" for different things including reading mail from Centrelink, Medicare etc.
In my classroom we work with fun. I am not here to tell you that you are wrong. We work together as a team and learn at a slow pace, so that everyone in the class is understanding and has a chance to speak up if they are struggling. I even like to use find-a-words with my students, this helps with the correct spelling and pronunciation of the words they are searching for.
I don't like to teach with conventional methods. I use my tried and tested distinct method and also try to incorporate whatever I learned during the CELTA training. I put the students first and try to give solutions to individual problems rather than providing generic solutions.
My teaching method is a hands on learning experience where I provide students with tools to help comprehend topics in an easier to understand way. I want students to feel independant while still having the assistance to build upon their own knowledge.
I believe that each student has a preferred method of learning. I adapt my teaching styles and resources to best suit the individual student.
I base my lessons on the needs of the students. They need to learn what is going to help them achieve what they want to achieve. If a student needs to develop his/her speaking skills to get a job, then that's what we'll work on. It's all about giving students what they need to succeed and achieve their goals.
My teaching methods are good grammar and punctuation and the ability to speak, learn and listen to what is being said. Will not tolerate time wasters in any way. I am strict and fair and easy going. I stand for true dedication to all that know me.
My teaching method is inquiry based with a focus upon critical and creative thinking. My lessons are always engaging; I always focus upon the best possible outcome for each individual learner. Lessons are always well-strucured and challenging.
According to the individual's needs and preferred learning type.
Languages are a lot harder to learn when you don't enjoy it. So, I like to keep it fun and adapt it to YOUR needs. What do you want from learning English? Why are you studying? What are your goals? Where do you want to be in the future? By knowing the students' needs, and how they like to learn, we can make lessons interesting and productive.
During my sessions I will try my very hardest to make my students feel as comfortable as possible. In the beginning it would be ideal to get to know who I am working with.
I use a variety of course books. I also assist students with any course material which they have to study for a university or college course. Any field of interest will be taught. I also use newspapers and other materials which ensure that students practice everyday Australian English. Idioms and colloquial language are explained.
I strive to make stress-free lessons. I devote myself to feeling students' needs and to delivering them my efficient and case-specific solutions with innovative and effective means and skills.
