I base my classes and sessions on globally recognized teaching and training methods that mainly include task-based approach and communicative approach (and communicative events basis) in regards to grammar, vocabulary and speaking, in addition to the principles of Phonetics and Phonology concerning oral expression and accent reduction. Approaches that fit learner's traits I apply.
I am very patient and tailor my teaching methods for each student. I enjoy teaching the Arabic language as well as Arab culture. I enjoy sharing Australian culture with international students and ex-pats and helping people to improve their English skills.
My teaching method include needed materials for each subject. I use games sometimes to get the students reach the idea.I try hard to explain the meaning of the word sometimes by playing, by using cards, by drawing or by showing photos to guess the real meaning of anything and through other different methods.
My teaching philosophy is to make the language most enjoyable for the person seeking to learn, I believe that the more one enjoys the lesson...the more they will want to learn the language. Learning languages shouldn’t just be through pen and paper, hence why I ensure that I use many different methods in my teaching.
I am a very nurturing individual with excellent leadership and management skills. I have had extensive knowledge, skills training and experience working with children from diverse backgrounds and abilities. I am fluent in Arabic written and verbal. I have completed parts of my studies whilst living overseas in Lebanon.
My teaching methodology is based on the student. If a student is a fast learner, I will make him/her grasp maximum lessons or topics. And if the student is a slow learner, I'll make him/her understand the topic in his/her way then I'll start make him/her grasp and learn the things.
