Steelband, Steelpans and the musical culture of Trinidad & Tobago. Private musical tuition using steelpans is already hugely successful in America, music is taught to a group without the teaching constraints of players all being on different instruments. Steelpans do not require an immediate minimum level of physical skill to play so the students are able to grasp the music more rapidly.
