My methodology is based on giving my students the tools with which to correct their own technique so that they can create a captivating performance using a bank of ideas and skills that we cultivate together and don't just end up feeling overwhelmed. I also place a strong emphasis on talking about the music my students like and encouraging exploration in to those areas.
The teaching is based on 2 aspects: The technique and the playing. Learning a minimum amount of technique is necessary to ignite the playing that will incorporate both an intuitive and pragmatic approach. Precisely, as a stage musician I am basing the teaching on the idea the student will eventually want to have fun playing with other musicians or solo in public.
I am very enthusiastic about music.
The types of methods that I use to teach my students are through the AMEB grading system and Suzuki methods, this may also include other teaching methods like solfege, forks song, and technical improvement exercises. I am a great teacher because I set my lessons up with progressive achievement each student can learn and develop.
Lessons are tailored to what my students are passionate about in music. We'll keep a lesson diary to check in with how you're improving and I will write exercises for you to practice in your own time outside of lessons.
It is my belief that in order for effective learning to take place, children must be under consistent conditions in which they feel safe, engaged, and feel free to extend and consolidate their learning (at home with their families/friends).
My lessons can be tailored to any student, regardless of age, experience or ability! Depending on the subject I like to structure my lessons into short, manageable tasks with something fun to start with, tricky stuff in the middle, and fun to finish. I encourage a focus on process over product. Everything in the Arts takes time, patience and practice.
My method of teaching requires me to understand the student in their capabilities and what they want to achieve. My aim is to improve their skills in a safe environment and to elevate their understanding of music, hopefully transforming it into a passion as done to me.

I like to start out slow by teaching the basics and helping kids to understand how the piano or violin works. First few times will be focused on musical integrity, posture and care of instrument. Most people love to learn new things and would start out fast, but I would teach them to get all the notes right first, before bringing any song or piece of music up to speed.
I generally use interactive lessons when teaching, as I have been taught they are the best way to enable a student to learn more. Getting help and tutored in subject areas is important no matter the brightness of the student involved.
Classes can have a duration of 30-60 minutes or longer, depending on the student’s needs. I like to mix lessons using four hand pieces from early levels, introducing different styles of music and incorporating theory, technical and sight-reading exercises for a more enjoyable lesson. I delight in restoring a passion for music to the learner.
I like to tailor my teaching method to each learner.
I make sure to cater to the student's way of learning and integrate play in my teaching.
I believe that it is important for students to have a well-rounded music education that encompasses aural, theory and practical skills. I also aim to make music a fun and enjoyable experience that brings people together and cultivates a positive musical community.

I teach VIOLIN, PIANO, VIOLA and HARP. My main philosophy towards instrumental lessons is to keep things entertaining! There's nothing worse than being bored by music. I also focus on students' individual needs as learners and work around that.
Having learnt the violin for most of my life, I know how challenging (and rewarding) studying music can be. Sometimes you just need it explained differently or someone to show you, which is where I would like to help.
I have done training in early childhood and Orff Schulwerk methodology. My unique way of teaching starts with developing a rapport with the student and to see what he/she wants to achieve. I adapt my approach accordingly to match the student's capabilities.
My teaching methods really focus on providing the knowledge and understanding that is required for the student to know about music components of theory and practice.
I focus my teaching on what the individual student needs and change my methodology depending on the age and standard. I aim to teach the student to understand the instrument, feel the music and the emotion and experience the joy of performance.
My teaching methods are based on the needs of my clients. I follow prescribed curriculums for school children or subject music at institutions or can adapt to the needs of Uncle Ben who always wanted to learn how to play the sax... People have different ways of learning so I try to adapt to reach the best outcome.
My teaching method is simple, easy and fun! Students will have the opportunity to follow their dreams.
I approach student individually. I firstly focus on the practical side so that they have the correct posture while playing. Then, I focus on sight-reading which is very important to become a succesful musician. I go with the Suzuki violin method.
Music is a concept that takes practice and repetition, and that is where I start. Whilst it might seem boring and useless at the start, it is the best way to learn. Will do theory work as well as that is the bases of all music.
