My teaching approach always considers the specific needs and experience of the student. You'll learn many of the theoretical aspects of theory/composition as well as growing your own unique approach to learning about and writing music.
Guaranteed to help each student find (or re-find) their footing and confidence in music, my lessons are always based on the individual's needs. I ensure there is always growth, positivity and fun throughout each session. My lessons are designed to develop musical awareness with a mix of theory and aural skills as well as provide the confidence to compose and create original musical works.
I base my classes on how I got teached. I will make sure that you enjoy what you're playing but also that you understand what you're playing (expressions from different keys, tunes, feelings,...) We will summarize your progress after the lessons to encourage you to practice even with more joy and passion.

That way they will want to come back.

believe that it is fundamental during piano lessons to teach students the "musical tools," and knowledge that they need in order to learn all types of piano music. There is no better way to do this than through a weekly class, which helps to ensure content retention by reinforcing your studies.
My way of teaching is from my many years of playing shows, practicing, teaching and just being a musician as well. I can identify what problems the individual needs to become more aware of and I create lessons according to what he/she needs to learn to become proficient in that area.
