The methodology of my classes will depend on the student's age and previous knowledge in music. In general my classes are divided into four parts: 1. Feedback from the previous class. 2. Warm-up exercises 3. Learn a new piece of music 4.
We will use tutor books that fits with the child's potential. Being able to sight read, recognize rhythm and enhance musicality will be the main direction.
My teaching method is based on the student - how fast they can learn, how easily they pick it up. I've taught kids with down syndrome to simply my friends wanting to learn a few notes. I am simply just a Uni student, looking to give some lessons on the side, and share my knowledge and love for music.
I'm playing piano over 15 years and i'm experienced with children and beginner(adult). i want to make good citizens. if a child hears fine music from the day of his birth and learns to play it himself, he develops sensitivity , discipline and endurance. He gets a beautiful heart.
I try to tailor lessons to each student's individual wants and needs. I believe it is important to ask what goals my students have in mind and help them to achieve it. For beginners, I take time to help my students become confident in learning how to read music as the first step. I make sure that my students have the right technique and posture when playing the instrument of choice.
Starting from the beginning, your child will be in great hands with my fun loving, passionate nature. Your child will learn the foundations of music and/or singing through games, songs, and activities - they won't even realise they're learning! Part of my education was being able to have fun with music while learning, and that's definitely something I bring to the tutoring situation.
I teach a range of different people and will tailor the lessons to each individual's needs. I want my students to become confident in their abilities and this comes from not only being able to execute everything they need to, but understanding exactly why they are doing it that way. I am flexible in the way I work and am always open with communication.
Testimonials from past students: Anita, you have been an amazing teacher for April. She has gone from strength to strength under your guidance. She has loved going to trumpet lessons because you make it so much fun, and always made an effort to have a good/friendly relationship with her.
My lessons will contain segments of theory as well as practical for an all Round performer. They will include theory on how to read music, sing correctly with technique and perform the song convincingly. Easy and willing to travel for my students.
I am currently conducting a PhD Research for Music at the Griffith University. I have recently relocated from Hamburg, Germany back to Australia. I have over 10 years of piano teaching experience with students from the age of 4 to the age of 60 +. John Thompson Methods, Yamaha Music Education Methods, Creative Methods that suits your personal needs.
I enjoy teaching enthusiastic students and take pride in helping them develop their skills and passion. Each student has their own goals and interests and I believe in helping them achieve that dream. I believe if you aren't having a good time you won't be prepared to learn.
I have part of a team of trainer/assessors and also have lead teams of educators in both online, distance students and classroom or face to face settings providing personalised advice and support to students whilst being sensitive to their needs. I have a graduate diploma in counselling which helps me provide the best service through good communications and relationship building.
I'm a very thorough teacher and I expect to impart every tiny amount of knowledge that I have into my students. My classes are very practical and the child will be sound in the theory and practical aspect of music.
Development of a healthy technical foundation including breath management skills, body awareness and style appropriate vocal techniques as well as the skills required to perform. A fun and relaxed environment for all ages and levels of experience to learn and achieve personal goals.
Theory also with technique of playing piano, from Classic to Romantic period and so on, also exam skills will be taught
My teaching method is designed to cater to each individual student. Flexibility is key and I understand the importance of moulding the lesson around the students creative desires and experience. As I am a cross-genre musician, I offer a wide range of study areas to students of all ages.
I will adjust the difficulty and strictness of the lessons to the student- I can offer: -a fun introduction to Clarinet or Saxophone -improvement in tone quality and technical ability -improvement in aural ability -understanding of the artistic form of music -understanding of the basic theories of music -understanding of the encoded emotions hidden past the black and white dots on the...
I like use some games to introduce the class, each lesson I will be focus on one definition that we need to learn.
I hope to create a spark in beginner guitarists that I once felt myself. I will base my lessons on the type of music my students prefer, while also providing base level skills that are required to progress further into the music world. I believe that practice and passion will follow after enjoyment has begun.
I teach people of all ages in music theory and practicals. If you want to learn to play the piano or the recorder I can teach it to you from the basics. I can also teach you to sing and learn techniques on how to improve your voice range or learn to harmonise or to read music. I also teach music theory where you learn the building blocks which lead to great musical compositions.
I base my classes on learning theory and technical skills first so that the student has the knowledge to support what they are learning. I make sure the class is fun and interative especially for younger kids so they can stay engaged and have a hands on learning experience.
I love to communicate with students and engaging students with a full heart and joy. I seek to equip students with the performance and theoretical skills that will see them excel no matter which path they take in the music. An engaged and determined teacher, I thrive teaching both one-on-one and in group scenarios. I teach students confidently and positively.
My teaching method revolves around the needs of each individual student. For mature age students, I understand that life is busy and there isn't always time for practice. So I structure lessons around maximizing time efficiency and achieving results quickly. For younger students, I'm confident about simplifying information and making it digestible. My lessons structures will be long term.
I like to start out slow by teaching the basics and helping kids to understand how the piano or violin works. First few times will be focused on musical integrity, posture and care of instrument. Most people love to learn new things and would start out fast, but I would teach them to get all the notes right first, before bringing any song or piece of music up to speed.
My students learn to read, interpret, perform and feel music. Only that way they will able to appreciate this beautiful art.
My teaching method is PATIENCE. I know is not easy but must be fun. I like to teach what my students like to play, you can choose the music (classic, modern, etc...) I teach to kids and adults, your age doesn't matter at all.
I don't go by rules when it comes to music classes. There are basic things that the student will be learning about guitar and music in general but other than that there is no hard and fast rule. I would approach the class by connecting with the student on the common ground of music and gaining their trust to take them a step closer to their passion.
My lessons are heavily focused on making regular, tangible progress. Too often the reason people stop learning music is due to feeling stuck. My lessons avoid this through the use of reasonable, achievable goals to be completed within a given time period.
The philosophy of my teaching is that truly understand music students must learn to love it! I will keep rigid formats to a minimum so as to keep the lessons fluid and fun. My lessons are geared towards beginner and intermediate piano students who have an interest in learning new songs and developing the skills needed to learn independently.
My teaching method is for students to develop a connection to the piano through the kinds of music they personally enjoy. I will integrate music theory into the practice of my students, so they can learn how to improvise and potentially write their own music.
