I try and make my lessons as engaing and friendly as possible to inspire my students to their full potential. Beginners are a speciality, however, I have experience in teaching all ages and all skill levels. I tairlor make each lesson based on the students needs and creative passions.
I base my lessons around specific students and their current abilities. Whilst being very proactive, I try and make the lessons as fun and enjoyable as possible and express my enthusiasm for music. I will get the student to practice as much as possible and will help him/her achieve their goals.
My teaching method is one on one geared towards beginners. The structure of my teaching will be going through the basic of the piano, music reading and piano playing. I like to ensure my student is at their confident level where they can memorise and recognise notes immediately before moving onto the next stage.
Customized private lessons will be given based on the learner needs including the prior knowledge/learning experience so i can get the idea about where to start or what need to be improved. The teaching books i chose would be also depending on the learners' needs such as age, preference, learning purpose and prior experience.
Unlike most tutors I have interacted with, my key approach to tutoring any student is to make sure that they are having fun. Progress and improvement is always a given key objective, but sometime the fun in just learning and playing an instrument can be lost.
I base my classes on learning theory and technical skills first so that the student has the knowledge to support what they are learning. I make sure the class is fun and interative especially for younger kids so they can stay engaged and have a hands on learning experience.

Starting from the beginning, your child will be in great hands with my fun loving, passionate nature. Your child will learn the foundations of music and/or singing through games, songs, and activities - they won't even realise they're learning! Part of my education was being able to have fun with music while learning, and that's definitely something I bring to the tutoring situation.
My teaching methodology places the student as the centre of importance. Whether learning takes place in a private or group tutoring session, I believe that musical learning should always have the student in focus.
I use textbooks for beginners and have an extensive library of my own transcriptions, as well as my own Chord Dictionary(2,100 chord shapes). I usually teach one on one although I conduct many workshops at various folk and bluegrass festivals.
My methodology for drum tutoring varies with age and skill level. My drum lessons would be suitable for those who are wanting to start playing the drums, all the way up to experienced drummers wanting to improve their skills or adapt to more sounds.
I will adjust the difficulty and strictness of the lessons to the student- I can offer: -a fun introduction to Clarinet or Saxophone -improvement in tone quality and technical ability -improvement in aural ability -understanding of the artistic form of music -understanding of the basic theories of music -understanding of the encoded emotions hidden past the black and white dots on the...
My teaching methodology is to make sure my students really understand the concepts they are learning and why they work. I want my students to be able to apply their knowledge in different contexts, not just reproduce information. As a qualified teacher I have experience working with students with different learning styles and I am able to cater my lessons towards those students.
My lessons are open to anyone and everyone, whether you want to pursue singing seriously, just as a hobby or this is something new for you! We will work together to come up with the best lesson plan that suits you.
I have won a singing competition in Poland, have been selected as one of the best HSC Music performaces and asked to perform solos in the Opera House. These lessons are suitable for any teenagers and adults with already some sort of musical or vocal knowledge or training willing to learn classical, Russian/Italian style vocal technique.
I am of the strong belief that everyone learns differently, I think it is key to asses a students learning style and adapt immediately. I am very easy going and patient, but also persistent and encouraging (I love seeing progress and how happy it makes students).
I like to teach from the basics and take it one thing at a time. Music theory can be very overwhelming as it is an endless topic that you could study forever and still not know everything there is to know about it. Focussing on one small part each lesson makes it seem less daunting.

First of all I always find out what kind of music is my student actualy interested in so then I can focus their lessons on that particular style whatever it might be. Some students just want to know chords and strumming patterns. Some of them are interested in finger-picking and some of them might want to learn the solo guitar. You name it I teach it.
- Get to know the student, their passions, how they work, how they learn best (basically finding common ground) - Establish a starting point, where we can improve upon current goals or skills, or build new ones in a fun, friendly and interesting way - I maintain a steady progress with my students, ensuring that there is nothing left out - the same is required of the students :)
I tailor my lessons according to individual needs. Be it classical, rock/pop, jazz, church music, or even songwriting, I can tailor the class to what the student wants out of their lessons. I am a patient teacher though I can be strict if necessary.
I'm playing piano over 15 years and i'm experienced with children and beginner(adult). i want to make good citizens. if a child hears fine music from the day of his birth and learns to play it himself, he develops sensitivity , discipline and endurance. He gets a beautiful heart.

the piano is a very interesting instrument, and i enjoy teaching those with the passion to learn. I focus on both practical and theory aspects of musical knowledge. I focus on note reading right from the beginning. even though I follow a certain system, I'm always able to adjust my teaching methods according to what suits the student the best.
I aim to make music fun before trying any kind of technique! For littlies, it's all about rocking along to nursery rhymes and simple songs, so they are learning basic principles of music without even knowing it! Parent involvement is crucial, so that they can continue what we are doing at home.
