I can begin by teaching you the basics of music production (i.e. what is a compressor, eq and limiter?) to how to work with the software Ableton Live or other DAWs (Digital Audio Workstation) to how to write complete harmonic music from your heart. It's up to you where the lessons go, you tell me what you don't understand and I will teach you.
My teaching methods are to allow both individuality and creativity to flow freely from every student. I base most of my teachings on current trends in the music industry such as software, technology, and current/past audio production principles. As the field of audio is very broad, a brief understanding of basic sound theory, physics, audio history, and music production function will be covered.
I believe in open and free discussion. The classroom is the perfect environment to experiment, and consequently have the freedom to make mistakes in. Inquisitiveness goes a long way in creative fields, and so I aim to teach individuals who are voracious for information and improving themselves.
During the first free lesson, I get to know who you are. What are your interest and specialities. I understand your musical experience and the skillset. From there, I ask the 2 important questions: what are your goals and why did you choose music.
My teaching method is very structured, focused, strategic. It will be broken down into short courses to give more attention to fine detail of production.
I will show you a number of ways to approach making music, minimising any potential walls you've perhaps hit in your past, whilst making it fun and more importantly getting a result at the end of it.
I like to keep things quite relaxed and quite fun in the classroom. There will be lots of warm ups and games that everyone will enjoy. My lesson structure generally consists of 50% theory and 50% practical exercises. They all contribute to the student's skills and understanding of different aspects of music.
• Leading students independently and interdependently as part of a team towards tailored educational and professional goals and objectives. • Oversee all areas of tuition, e.g. planning, evaluation, feedback, skills development, student engagement in accordance to individual needs and university standards.
Methods Of Teaching Would Include Technique Rhythm / Beat / Structure Of A Song / Singing And Lyrics, My Style Would Be A Relaxed Approach With A Hard Work Ethic As .
My teaching method will vary depending on if the classes are one-on-one or group based. Obviously one-on-one would be more detail orientated. Class structure would be to first train your ears to recognize the frequency spectrum and what instruments are coming through at what frequencies. Then we shall move onto recording techniques before learning editing and mixing.
My lessons will be tailored to suit your needs following an assessment of your current understanding and knowledge of the subject, there is no generic lesson structure because every learner is different and will ultimately benefit most from a customised approach
My teaching method is old school type. i love to teach on Turntable but can also teach in pioneer or any Dj Player. I can also give classes on Basic Scratching. i start from the history of djing followed by connection technique, cuing, looping, pitch moves, pitch bend, cut mixing, fade mixing, chop mixing and beat mixing. Besides i can also give classes on how one dj can handle a club as well.
I base my classes on understanding all the technicalities of audio recording and music recording so you can spend more time working on the creative aspects. There is so much to learn about audio engineering and grasping intricate concepts can take a lot of work. However, all the work is worth it in the end when you finally hear where the hard work has gone.
I am a tutor focused on helping students learn the in's and out's of live electronic performances, directing students to the right equipment for their desired outcome and giving them a greater understanding of the foundations of live electronic performances.
I believe in doing practical exercises after learning about the theory and history as to get a full understanding of the origins of audio production.
In the classes you'll be learning Music Theory, Synthesis, Instruments and Vocal Recording techniques, Structure and Arrangement, EQ, Processing, Effects, Workflow and more, everything inside Ableton Live. I like to separate the classes by modules and cover everything that I can in each one, so the learner can understand step by step experimenting different kinds of techniques.
My methodology is Back to Basics What happens first Where does THAT note come from Everyone can make music What does this instrument do How to learn about frequencies Different genres of music I want my sing to sound like that Basic studio setups Recording instruments Recording programs Mixing and Mastering
My teaching method can be both academic and practical. I'll be providing students with real recorded audio stem files from bands and artist for them to practice as well as useful PDF booklet regarding mixing. Creating music should be a fun process and not too theory base. So my lesson will focus more on creating music and the post-production aspect rather than academic books.
Teach them how to use Fl studio, work through the basics, how to orchestrate melodies and create automation teach them beat structure, layering and synchronizing vocals with the beat and melody and mixing so it don't sound scrambled eggs Student will need a computer (preferably Windows) and Fl studio it is free
