I base my teaching on your learning style! most students do not study effectively.... very flexible and easy going. Health Science can be very confronting to start studying, especially for 1st timers. But with some hints and hacks, one can succeed in improving his/her knowledge.
We will first master the fundamentals. We can focus on basic sciences, clinical practice or exam practice, wherever you’re at with your degree. I foster a nurturing and calm environment where it is ok to be unsure. Let me help you be the best you can be.
I like to work with individual students and small classes. Students have always fed back that they enjoy my knowledge, communication skills. empathy and humour. Although I use powerpoint, I prefer interaction and robust discussion with students, encouraging participation.
My Methodolgy is custom to students basic understanding and knowledge.
My teaching method is basically PPTs. i.e power point. I love to teach in detail and i go practically to make my students understand the topic by giving examples. I love to take test at end of each month to brush up what was taught.. i definitely don't bore my students as i keep my teaching level at that point where they never miss my lectures.
Depends on what you specifically want to learn about, I'll usually start with the basics of a certain topic, from anatomy to physiology. I'll cover everything that you need to know before delving deeper into pathophysiology and pharmacology (if needed). Upon request, I also implement Problem-Based Learning: case presentations and its details from signs & symptoms to basic management.
no matter who you are, or what level of study you are completing in health science your lessons are customised to suit your specific needs and goals.
I believe everyone studies differently, therefore, making it crucial to personalise each tutoring session to suit the learner's style. I myself use predominately notetaking, flashcards, visual imagery and pneumatics but will of course target our sessions to your study and learning style.
I strongly believe that stimulating interest is the best teaching practice. Interest can lead students to actively learn related knowledge.
My teaching method is accommodating to suit the student's personality and learning style. I always aim to make the lessons and content interesting while being as beneficial as possible. I am also willing to find and incorporate additional material that enables the student's capabilities to extend beyond what they are learning at their level at school.
It will depend on the requirement of the student making sure that the student has a good grip on the subject. Individual or group lessons both can be done. Flexible about the timing too.
I believe in better visualization and practical learning experience. Encouraging students of mixed abilities to work together by promoting small group or whole class activities. I believe in inquiry based instructions. Pose thought-provoking questions which inspire the students to think for themselves and become more independent learners.
Simple method used during teaching, I mostly used PPT presentation method with detail explanation and Q&A session
Ideally I would be a patient teacher for life support courses and would be persistent until everyone in class is confident with the procedure.
Dr. G. G. Chamal Sanjeewa ( Postgraduate Institute of Medicine - Sri Lanka ) has won 2017 Global award for academic championship organised by organised by International Agency for Standards and Ratings. Dr. G.G Chamal Sanjeewa among World's 500 Most Influential Public Health Experts for the Year 2017 as well. SBS Sinhalese interviewed Dr. Chamal Sanjeewa regarding this great achievement.
I have a very flexible teaching method, that evolves to meet the student's need. In the beginning, I like to discuss what goals the student wants to acheive, and explore their general learning style. In general, I like to be interactive, and bring in daily life imagery to help consolidate their understanding of more complex issues.
I teach with the intention of giving you understanding the subject alongside delicate guidance for getting perfect scores in exams.
I have a passion for taking seemingly complicated topics and explaining them in a simplified easy to understand manner. I have helped 1st and 2nd year uni students go from hating chemistry to enjoying it and taught fellow medical students.
Associate professor of physical sciences activity, Doctor of Science from the Ecole Normale Supérieure. Teacher in charge of TD at the faculty of physics and biophysics. 15 years of competition experience faculties Paris VI (pity-UPMC), Paris V (Descartes), Paris XIII (Bobigny). Specialist UE3.
Following a tray S obtained with honors, I joined the school in Marseille Thiers preparatory classes for the Grandes Ecoles (MPSI and PSI *). I then directed the third year to the University (BA Hons Physics Chemistry Very Good and Senior Wrangler). I then followed a course Physics Master (M1 obtained with distinction and Major Deals and M2 also obtained with distinction and Senior Wrangler).
Master 2 student teaching Physics Chemistry and a Masters in Chemistry, I worked for over 5 years with students in PACES Lille 2 and La Catho.
I can give courses ranging from the 6th to high school I think I have acquired a good working method and I think being able to transmit easily. I was listening and especially I also had problems (S terminal) so I can take it back to be with my student teacher.
I am a final year neuroscience PhD student with extensive experience in teaching students from secondary school to university. I am a graduate of King's College London, whilst currently carrying out my research at Queen Mary, University of London. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach: - GCSE Science (including Biology, Chemistry and Physics) - GCSE PE Theory (Physiology – i.e.
I teach at every level of social skills, scientific research and health or nursing related issues. Educational techniques and methods are determined on the basis of learning style and preferences (online or 1-to-1). My motto is that you can achieve anything as long as you are prepared to work for it. I charge a reimbursement of travel expenses on the basis of the costs incurred.
Hi there, my name is Dr Michael Grant and I'm a medical doctor in the highly competitive NHS Academic Foundation Program in London. Alongside my medical degree I also hold a Bachelors of Science (First class honours) in Molecular Medicine. I am currently studying towards a Certificate in Learning and Teaching for Higher Education (CILT) at Queen Mary University of London.
I have taught in multiple formats - large lectures, small group work as well as individual tutor sessions. I am particularly passionate about human physiology, in particular, cardiovascular physiology and pathophysiology. I am happy to tailor topics to those required.
The methodology will give adjusted according to the needs of the student, both in terms of time, as compared to the form and means. Can therefore be used electronic media such as videos, power point presentation, and with the need, may be held by video conference. Additionally they can be arranged up to 3 groups students.
My name is Giovanni and I am a graduate in Medical and Molecular Cellular Biotechnology (LM-9). I work as fellow / researcher as biotecnolgist at the clinical molecular and genetic research laboratories of San Raffaele Hospital in Milan. I offer private lessons to high school students / college and even after school for elementary or middle school students.
My teaching method centres around helping students understand high yield concepts while guiding study habits for self-review. A typical class would consist of predetermined questions, supplied by myself or the student, and meticulously breaking down important relevant material. I'm willing to tutor any biological/pre-med/nursing/medical student from high-school onwards.
