I use trial and error approach in teaching, meaning that I allow students to compose their responses, then reflect on how it can be improved. This process is repeated until the student is able to compose a perfect response for any given question.
My teaching methodology is "Demonstrator or coach style". I always work very hard to make my student take interest. I believe, mathematics is a game. My students really enjoy learning maths from me. Task completion is my first priority compare to others.
My preferred teaching method is interactive learning. I do not take the approach of simple assistance in learning and rote memorisation, I take the approach of making sure the student understands the concepts to its fundamental basis.
I believe one can learn only if he practices. So i will give my lectures and classes. Make them do a few problems and homeworks.
I love teaching students in high school, starting from grade 10.
I believe that children learn better when they are hands on and having fun, aiming to include this in each and every one of my tailored lessons. I build relationships with children to better understand their learning styles and then adapt my lessons to cater to this, providing a lot of visual and hands on materials to work with.
My teaching methodology is making a storytelling everything. You do not have to make it very theorical for having it in mind. We humans tend to associate our knowledge with the daily happenings, so this needs to be both theorical and practical. I show you how this works, and later, it's your turn.
Before the lesson I would expect the student to tell me the area they wish to look at that week. I would read around this area, therefore being prepared for the class. At the start of each lesson, we would spend a short time reviewing what was said the previous week.
I decided to study science and communication because I love to get people excited about science. It may seem scary sometimes but with a couple of diagrams and well placed analogies I find that even the most complex of concepts can be understood.
Depending on what stage the student is at will depend on my teaching method. If the student understands all the content then I will source questions for the student to complete and challenge their understanding of maths. By extending the students understanding of the concepts of maths, they will achieve a high mark.
I have graduated as an Electrical Engineer from the University of Wollongong. I would like to play the role of a close friend to help students to solve and overcome barriers. In my teaching philosophy, relating the theories to real-life examples can engage students to solve the problems more effectively.
In order to teach something effectively, you yourself must know the content wholeheartedly. Being able to break down complex processes into simple terms which people can understand. That is my approach to teaching, first I make sure I completely understand what I am teaching, then think of ways to break down any complicated concepts into easy to understand steps.
I am willing to teach 2-3 days per week (hours can vary) and more if required during tests etc. I will set lessons for the week according to the syllabus you provide me and will take regular quizzes. A typical lesson will include me explaining a topic, clearing any doubts you may have, solving some problems as examples and then going through your reference book to give you practice questions.
Hi guys, I am a science enthusiastic person studying Bachelor of Physics at the University of Wollongong.I have a dream of making math and physics enjoyable and simple to kids. This, I believe, can happen through real-life demonstrations and break down of subjects. My lessons are aimed towards kids studying in high school.
Teaching with fun! 1 trial session is available. School methodology will be followed and if there is any teaching preference by students then I am happy to use that way. Individual or group teaching anything is convenient.
My method in tech give hands on training. Provide more techniques in problem solving. Move with milestones .
The teaching methodology is designed according to the students. Usually, there are two types of teaching methods. The first one is aimed to solve all kinds of questions or troubles in the maths or physics studying. This also includes guiding students to finish homework. The other type is aimed to learn new knowledge based on textbooks.
My focus would always be to remove any doubt that comes to your mind even if I have to research a lot on it and give the students a proper understanding of the concept so that you can solve any problem based on it.
I like to teach my students by introducing them the basic formula. Although I don't have a lot of experience teaching, I am fairly capable of teaching high school students the basics of mathematics. I also have a lot of experience interacting with students and make it interesting for them to understand and learn.
my lessons are for all the students even if someone didn't studied maths properly till grade 6. i believe in teaching the concept of topic we are doing and how can we use it later. everything we study has a reason behind it once we get that it becomes more interesting.
I believe that practice makes perfect and that 2 heads work better than one. My lessons are intended for finding where the student is having a hard time understanding the subject, then working together on multiple exercises that focus on the difficulty until both I and the student are comfortable with questions that cover that topic.
When I was in my high school, which is for gifted student only, my major was maths. I was also interested in Physics and Chemistry, and quite good on them. In the national test to run into University, my mark was 28/30, which is the highest one in my province, and I am confident that I will bring you the good results not only for your study but also your thinking process.
A uni student that dances, sings a little bit, takes not so bad photos and loves to help people out with math problems. Successfully helped friends with math assignments.
I am good at maths, especially algebra. I am from the Philippines, however, I finished my high school education in Malaysia. I am now currently studying at the University of Wollongong as a business student. I am not strict, however, I am not nice either. I give tests almost every meeting.
I approach this topic with the preface that improvement takes work, you won't magically become a mathematician. It requires practice and engagement along with moving past the fear of making mistakes. I encourage risk taking with the student's learning and developing problem solving skills for when it doesn't work out.
My teaching method is incorporating student autonomy with a top down flow of information approach. Peer learning and internal motivation is encouraged. Classes will be based on mutual respect and hard work. Persistence and patience is key, and I believe in keeping on pushing forward.
My teaching methods can vary depending on your needs. However, I believe the best approach to the HSC is completing practise papers and this is the only approach to have shown measurable results! I like to focus on exam preparation and methods as well as the concepts behind what is being asked.
In generally I do not give notes without proper explaining about the materials. Now I live here in Wollongong NSW 2500. I have experienced with Sri Lankan Education system and I taught in Sinhalese. However, I have courage to manage to mentor primary school students.
My lesson structure follows a hands-on approach where the student is in control of their learning. I utilise student interests and strengths to communicate new ideas and concepts. My lessons revolve around curriculum and syllabus outcomes whilst remaining engaging and authentic experiences.
I am highly passionate about mathematics and would love the opportunity to share my love of the subject with high school students from year 7-12, who are eager to improve their competence and gain confidence in their own mathematical abilities.
