I have had 1.5 years worth of experience tutoring privately but have new listing through Superprof. My teaching method is based on a good foundational understanding.
The essence of maths is not to make simple things complicated, but to make complicated things simple. I, as a tutor make maths look fun and easy for students who have difficulty in solving even the most basic questions of maths.
I can demonstrate what I will teach in a practical way, building a big picture and then add details. I can use software to visualize what I will teach, trasforming abstract mathematics to visual image and making boring mathematics alive.
I would like to consider myself as a potential candidate to make the best use of my strong interpersonal communication, ability to manage difficult situations and resolve problems and maximize my knowledge. I believe, teaching is a learning process and that is why I prefer to name my lesson as "interaction session". That means, a session is not only teach students but also fulfill their desire.

Junior to High School Maths and Physics. All skill levels and ages welcome. Love to break down concepts to make learning easier and very patient. Relating real life applications of maths and physics to what you’re learning in class to give context to why you’re doing what you’re doing.
I have a very comprehensive understanding of mathematics, on both a basic and advanced level. This means I know how to explain concepts to students in ways tailored to their own understanding, and help build up ideas step-by-step in a very effective way.
I am master of engineering student in university of canberra. Also I had almost 3 years professional experience in IBM.I will be teaching maths for high school students. I took maths private tuition for high school students while I was in my home country.
My teaching method is strengths based. I think tutoring is often needed when students haven't had someone to individually support them. Often the way that schools teach does not make sense to every student and they simply need the concept explained in a way that they understand. I love tryi ng to find how my students can get interested in a subject and see how it can be made easier for them.
The teaching philosophy is based on treating everyone on their own potential, identifying any key areas that need more focus, and approaching the problems from the student's perspective. The intention is to help you understand the problems from a more fundamental level, not just for the sake of the problem at hand.
I myself learn by doing it myself and this is what i mainly focus on getting my students to do. The lesson structure usually go for 1 or two hours and begin with a recap of lessons past learnt. Then discuss what will be taught on that day, following this i will teach the theory to a good understanding including examples.
For primary school, I usually find printable worksheets for what each child needs individually, including maths, science and writing. For high school, I write my own lesson plans with each week presenting a new topic and helping the child get an understanding of a subject.
Since every person is different, I like to leave the details open for negotiation. My hours and rates are very flexible (starting from $30/hour) and I am willing to tutor all age groups. Please don't hesitate to send me an email with any questions and I will look forwards to creating a unique learning timetable for you.
My name is Aseniya, and I am highly enthusiastic about teaching and helping school goers in need. Both of my parents are teachers, so I believe this passion of tutoring comes to me quite naturally. The fundamentals of maths and physics are where students get confused the most.
I am looking to assist middle school and high school children facing problems by clearly explaining concepts for a stronger foundation and tackling sample problems for practicality. The first lesson or a couple days before the first lesson I will request for the student’s syllabus and ask the student the specific problems he/she has with the subject.
One to one tuition, will give a small test in first lesson to have a better understanding on the student's capability.
I try to teach by giving relevant examples from daily life or co-relate the topic with their topic of interest so that they are attentive and understand fast.
My lessons are aimed at all students whether you're in school or university. My aim is to make my students enjoy and love Maths like I did because when you do the subject becomes easy. Everyone could be good at Maths long as you understand the fundamentals and this will be down to your style and which teaching style you will find ideal, everyone is different.
Hi! My name is Bertram and I'm a final-year Bachelor of Science student in ANU, majoring in Molecular Biology with a minor in Science Communication.
My way of teaching is practical and brief. Students thereby gain knowledge and can easily memorize the subject. Can assist in assignments and also help in problematic areas in the subjects. Systematic teaching and friendly approach to students which makes learning easy.
My aim when teaching is for the students to have an understanding of the underlying principles of the subject, rather than simply rote learning a list of formulae. The reason for this is that while learning formulae is faster, they are often forgotten after a short period of time, whereas with an understand of the principles, you can remake the formulae when you forget them.
For physics and Math lessons I usually introduce the idea or concept to the student, mostly I relate the application it has in their day to day life. Then the student is introduced to problem solving techniques in that particular topic.
Lessons will include establishing the student's weaknesses and strengths, working through homework with the student, and assigning additional exercises to improve student's ability. I will also establish a rapport with the student to ensure that lessons are as fun and interesting as possible, and to gain the student's interest.
My Lessons would typically be 1 hour and can negotiate a fair price! I am very flexible and am able to really get into a lesson in order to make sure that the individual properly understands what they're finding difficult.
