I will assume you are already following a curriculum at school. You ask the question and then I will guide you to find the solution. I will put things into context with real world applications. But we work together in finding out what best helps you in learning.
I have had 1.5 years worth of experience tutoring privately but have new listing through Superprof. My teaching method is based on a good foundational understanding.
I am very passionate about helping students, my teaching methodology is very easy and always very understanding. I always go with a plan and am very organized. I review topics very carefully and make a clear explanation to help students understand very well.
My studying and teaching philosophy is based on one's passion, determination, and hard work. I approach every new topic in my subjects with profound research to maximize my interest in it. Then I determine precisely what goals I should achieve in order to be successful, and try my best to fulfill them.
My teaching methodology change with student to student. I believe that all the students will not the same problem solving capabilities. I assess in which concepts a particular student is lagging behind, Then I will create a study timetable to that student. I teach in a very beautiful way concept by concept.
Because I have taught a diversity of primary and high school students, I have tailored different teaching styles to individual children. In terms of lesson structure, I will generally start the lesson by reviewing the relevant learning content and going through worked examples of questions.
Math can be a tough subject to wrap your head around. I can help by demonstrating easy to remember tips, breaking down questions into smaller sections and build students confidence in working on math problems independently! Science requires brain power to remember all the material and requires good study habits.
I give practical and relative examples which many of students find interesting because they can actually relate what they are learning, unfortunately not able to relate maths to real world what makes student scare of mathematics. I like to go module wise but my approach is hard to easy. I chose this approach because the easy hacks I have for complex problems.
During individual sessions I support students to see where they have thinking or doing weaknesses and teach them how to overcome these both psychologically and through practical tips and tricks. I guide students to find their individual favourite maths learning and practice method and monitor their progress.
I love teaching students in high school, starting from grade 10.
After identifying your learning goals, in line with your course requirements, and listening to you, I will set a few questions to identify what you already know and where your weaknesses are. I use a lot of questions to prompt thinking and check understanding. I can patiently revisit things as required. I also find online resources you can use in your own time to help your learning of key concepts.
I am currently taking a break from teaching to be a mom. Student centered learning is the philosophy I uphold. With the right guidance and facilitation I believe that anyone can learn to apply Maths. I am excited to assist you in achieving your goals. I do my best to teach creatively and with hands on examples.
I am a fresh engineering graduate with my strengths lie in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and applications of all three along with problem solving skills. As a fresh graduate, I have a first hand experience of the learning environment of what students are exposed to as I am one of them as well not long ago.
I had been a teacher since year 2005. Was a Lecturer, tutor, teacher, and Principal. My focus is towards Mathematics and Science; capitalising on my first degree in Civil Engineering. Had been certified by University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (ULCES) to conduct classes for Cambridge Physics. My other qualification is Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching.
Knowledge and time are two the most important things in our life. Gaining knowledge is both energy consuming and time consuming therefore time allocated should be enough for fun and lesson. The process is interactive thus each and everybody should contribute.
First I listen towards the ideas students have on particular topic to make them feel comfortable and then explain the topic. I would love to use different examples, experiments and visual outlook before providing lectures on specific topic. For me, maintaining good relationship students and creating friendly environment is the first priority.
Students will be instructed clearly on the subject material, then made to do examples until they've gotten the concept fully. As a student myself, I have found 'cheat sheets' (constructed based on an "ideal" answer) to be helpful, and students will be given the opportunity to make their own/view mine instead of searching for answers through a clutter of textbook/online resources.
I am a hard-working student of Project Management studying at Victoria University. My background is related to Civil Engineer and I enjoyed a lot with this course, because it contains 80% of Mathematics and Physics principles. So, always start with the basic things, then proceed further in details. So, when you know basic, you will really enjoy to go in detail.
Tips for Solving Problems Divide students into groups of three or four. Based on what they learned during class, have each group write a chart of at least three tips for other students on how to solve word problems. The chart should encourage students to do the following when solving word problems: Read the problem very carefully. Point out key words that signify which operation to use.
I create engaging and relevant lessons that contain multiple ways of explaining content (i.e. Symbols, Materials and Language) so that all students are able to understand what they and learning and the purpose of it. I have various ways or explaining the same content and making learning engaging and fun.
Every problems have thumb-rule solution. Child needs to know the root of the problem, the thumb-rule that is required for solving the certain problem, and logic and reasoning. Once the Student have hands-on all the effective key skills, he holds the ability to work independently.
My lessons will be geared towards high school students who are finding difficulty in understanding concepts. I will help with homework and the more difficult conceptual questions especially in maths. My teaching method is using simpler concept to explain the more difficult ones.
I believe in a student-specific approach which will cater to all the needs and expectations that the student might be expecting from me. My tutoring experience has taught me that every single kid has their own pace and learning capacity and it is my duty to help them unlock their potential and thrive for success.
