I base my classes in an environment where i know student feels comfortable, such as a mutual meeting ground like library, where there are other adults around too. I also make sure that communication is key durong my lessons, ensuring each student feels comfortable enough with me and in front of others to ask questions, making my classes very verbal.
i am very inclined to teach the struggling and slow learning student... i have involve a method os reading , explanation and then a short assessment and fun and interactive class tutorial to help them and bring interest in the subject which the student don't want to study.
My method of teaching is flexible, as I believe that different students learn very differently. Throughout our first lesson, we could discuss the ways you would like to learn, and from there on I will structure my lessons based on what you prefer.
My teaching method is child-centered approach and give discussions about lessons and activities required for students' mathematical needs and appropriate feedback.I used to ask questions that promote higher-level thinking. In fact, it is important that a teacher begins a lesson with questions at the Recall and Understand levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy.
My approach to the content depend on the student and his/her needs. Some students are more visual learners while others benefit more with revision work.
I have a great knack to work with students. Instead of stressing on to the difficult areas, I make the student have a greater interest on their simpler areas and then connect them with the difficult ones. I am very friendly and approachable. It will be a pleasant experience for the students to study with me.
My teaching methodology is based on the students requirements. I can teach according to syllabus or according to the requests of the students. For example, in maths, I can explain all solutions to each and every question in the students excercise book.
I believe students do not need to study for ridiculous number of hours to get the marks they want if they STUDY SMART. Therefore, with my lessons, I often seek to impart my very own study hacks! This can be simple memory tricks or different ways of approach to a problem to attain the right solution efficiently.
I approach every topic and student differently but I primarily tend to lean towards working through questions together to gain understanding and accuracy. I am a positive person and can teach through other methods if preferable. I also can aid with assignments.
I believe that everyone is capable of learning and that more often than not it is a lack of confidence in their own skills that holds students back from pushing themselves in the classroom.
I base my classes on the individual needs of my students and cater each class to their particular style of learning. I believe in creating a fun and relaxed learning environment while building up self esteem and confidence.
Everyone learns differently. What I aim to do is find what suits you and from there we can tackle any problems together. I believe how much you enjoy any subject, particularly maths is based on how your given the information needed to solve the problem. So lets break it down and fix the puzzle in a way you understand.
I am a big fan of creating shortcuts in order to teach a difficult topic. I believe it is important to see problems for what they are in smaller chunks, in order to facilitate easier learning. I also believe in the power of doing numerous practice questions in order to hone one's understanding of the topic - and ultimately achieve better results.
Twice as much time spent on your maths or science homework every single night for 5 or 6 nights a week. Create summmary notes before any test and edit them, check them, rewrite them , try to memmorise them, then practice using the maths formula cheat sheet to see if it works. If there any errors, edit before test/exam. Do lots of practice exams,/tests under time limit.
My teaching method is unique for each student. Where possible, I prefer a visual or hands on approach. In the first lesson we'll work out which areas need urgent attention, and go from there. In every lesson I like to spend some time reviewing the past few weeks, consolidating current content from school and having a sneak peak of what's coming up next.
My teaching method is to tailor instruction to the student needs, at primary level I do an assessment to establish their strength. For high school I ensure they're on top of their school topics and work on topics before the class.
I have experience with all main teaching methods, including explanation, demonstration, learning by teaching, learning by playing... When I prepare my lesson plans, I always think carefully about that and try to apply the most suitable methods in each lesson. I always try to mix it up, so students experience the unknown, and the lessons are interesting and not routine or boring.
My teaching style is geared toward what works for you. I understand that different people learn in different ways and am willing to cater lessons to your strengths or preferred methods of learning (i.e. if you prefer visual learning, or repetition etc.).
Everyone has a different way of learning and comprehending new material. Often the teachers in class don't have enough time to use mutiple approaches. For some people the "missing link" is organizing their thoughts and work, for some its linking certain problem "types" to the relevant formula, and for some its just getting over the mental barrier of previous attempts that were unsucessful.
I am a Petroleum Engineer who has recently graduated from university. I have a great interest in maths and a passion to teach and help students develop their knowledge and interest in the subject too. I am currently tutoring students between year 7 and 12, and the lessons are structured so that the desired result can be achieved for the student.
I am student and have vast knowledge. I approach any topic as step by step procedure so that the topics which looks hard makes easy. My philosophy is nothing is hard if you go for a right approach and at last gain knowledge from it.
I approach each topic with an example by example basis. Firstly, there will be a brief discussion of the theory being spoken about. Then an easy example to get comfortable with the concept. Following which harder problems will be given to show common mistakes made by people in these kinds of problems.
My teaching method is finding out what student needs for the upcoming weeks, may it be for exams, assignments, or just understanding content.
I used to support the school home work and take further the knowledge to be successful ahead. I Support students to follow mainly the Australian curriculum.
I teach subjects by first understanding the student and their needs before deciding on an appropriate teaching method. There will be 'tests' but I will also have fun activities or games for students.
My teaching methods are visually based, as I believe that learning new things are best mastered visually. I like to make educational games so that the students could enjoy the lesson and remember the items discovered during the learning experience.
The first lesson is half price and I conduct a few test on the student in order to understand the best way to teach my student.
I approach tutoring by first assessing what the individual themselves feels they are struggling with and work with them to see what areas they are strong in and where they need to improve.
My approach to teaching involves concentrating first and foremost on the areas the student is struggling with. I use different example questions to demonstrate the correct method and then help the student to implement the method themselves. In my experience the best way to learn any subject is to learn and practice the basics and to then utilize this in more challenging problems.
My teaching methods are based and focused on simplicity. This helps to break down abstract information into more practical and easy to understand concepts. I believe that everyone can understand a concept if it is explained in its simplest form.
