Learning maths isn't the same for everyone. Quite often a maths concept might have to be taught, broken down, or explained in a different way, compared to that of the classroom. This can be greatly beneficial to a student, as each person will find it easier to solve a problem or apply a theory, technique or formula in a particular way. This is what i hope to achieve in my lessons.
My lesson generally takes 2 hours. I usually being with a 10 minute recap of the previous lesson, followed by a 90 minute lesson and the remaining 20 minutes is spent helping the student with their school work. Some home work is also given.

I am specifically give lessons on mathematics only no matter what the topic is either its geometry, calculus or algebra etc. My methodology of teaching is to first teach basics of subject most importantly as strong building can only be built upon strong base.
I will teach and explain for you the ways on how to solve difficult or easy questions and may print a few more exercise questions that will help you understand the subject more.
Usually my lessons will first begin with a short quiz. This is just so that I can see what my student has learnt from the previous lesson and what they might need more help on. Afterwards, I will go through their course outline and teach what they will learn in class, so that they will better understand concepts.
I try to get the person that I’m teaching to figure out the answer on their own. I’ll ask questions to push them in the right direction, and only demonstrate and explain it clearly to them when they are completely lost.
While tutoring I try to focus on student's difficulties and questions in each field of mathematics. I always provide the students with extra notes in order to help them understand a topic. After teaching a particular topic, I test the student’s comprehension through additional problems. Finally, I help in organizing their study load so as to be more efficient.

I have been opportune to teach at all levels of education which range from grade Three to Eleven. My teaching methods id determined by the age group of student being taught, the assimilation and the attention span. I especially love the student -centerd teach-re-teach method.
I generally like to let the students determine what we do in tutoring sessions, by being an extra help for topics they might not have understood in class, or by explaining the more difficult questions. I like to help them with a few questions by explaining the process and reasons behind it, and them guiding them through other questions, trying to allow them to think for themselves.

Maths is a subject that requires solid foundations. In my first lesson or two I like to assess if students have understood their basics well and then I move onto building new concepts. I appreciate students with varying personalities, I use a mixed technique of bringing technology and real life examples for students to appreciate the lessons.

I believe that in order for you to have a strong and solid quantitative formation would help to have a guidance of someone that more than explain the subject can really understand and identify where the students confidence is low and where's their formation gaps needs to be fixed.
I'm quite young, therefore my method will be really good and memorisable for your child as I understand what's the critical and difficult part of the topic. I use my own unique way and method to help memorising things, it works out well.
