I'm enthusiastic about seeing students achieve! I start by asking the student about their strengths, weaknesses and interests, then I will try to taylor my lessons accordingly. I like to use a variety of activities that may include textbook exercises or practical applications.
I am doing professional tutoring for couple of years with great success over student's improvement. I have even taught TAS teacher for improving concepts in general maths and civil engineering. Working with maths could b fun when you realise numbers can draw pictures for you. Maths is easy when it is done stepwise and with multiple perspectives and representations.
I lecture on a chapter basis with a briefing first on syntax, methodology, core ideas, example and then solving problems. I also take care of students individual understanding toward solving a problem making a friendly relation with students. I respect and maintain cultural harmony with them.
My math lessons have always been fun and interesting since I involve many hands on experience to teach the concept of maths. I cater to visual kinesthetic and auditory students. My lessons differ from the traditional book to brain concept.
I will usually have classes in public places like libraries or university library. In the first lesson I will identify the requirements of the students. Then I will provide a sample questions for the students to attempt. Then I will see their answers and come to conclusion on which lessons that they require help with, and then focus on those specific lessons.
I prefer teaching the basics before the actual syllabus. I like to engage with the students to solve problems rather than me doing it myself. I do not believe in giving homework and prefer to allow students to work in classes only.
from the usual method, I adapt to many different methods based on my students. If everyone was to learn from the same method, then a classroom teacher would suffice. the usual method would be to break down a subject in several parts, introducing a student to these parts and then connecting these parts together, like a puzzle. though this approach is mostly used for science subjects.
The essence of maths is not to make simple things complicated, but to make complicated things simple. I, as a tutor make maths look fun and easy for students who have difficulty in solving even the most basic questions of maths.
When teaching I ensure that I am relating it back to something that will help students understand. I also like to break things down to not only make things as simple for students but it also allows them to refresh their basic techniques. Repetition is also key in my personal opinion.
My teaching methods are based on understandable explanation and imagable description on the mathematical content to let students understand the topics better and have a brief image of both the topics and mathematics also feel interested in them.
My teaching method is task-based, with focus on the topics, homework, and assignments students have been given in class, with an aim to address the marking criteria to maximise the student's grades while also ensuring the student's personal growth and learning.
1.Syllabus 2.Explain Concepts 3.Practice 4.Practice more My teaching style is straightforward and solutions I provide are concise. I am quite good at identifying a student's difficulty whether it be in their learning style or problem solving. My philosophy is keep it simple students.
My Teaching style is based on applying strategies based on student understanding level. I apply those strategy to build students interest and knowledge.
I understand each student has their own level of understanding and I hope to tutor each according to their needs. Math is actually a very fun subject, if it is taught and understood properly. Each topic would first be explained and then some numericals with solutions will be provided. If any mistake is found, I can identify where the student is having a problem and help him in clearing the doubt.
I like to look at what is required and make a rough and easy course outline for the student to follow. As everyone loves ticking to-do lists, learning becomes fun as you go through the entire outline. I like to explain topics, summarize and go through plenty of exercises till the student is confident about the learning.
My teaching method is supportive of all students. I base my classes of any necessary needs the students will have. I approach a topic by asking questions to see what the students know and what needs developing to help them to succeed to the best of their ability.
My teaching method is based on what the student wants to learn, as well as teaching them the required knowledge that they lack. I also believe that suiting the students psychology and attitude is an important factor. As that is the gap between having the trust and proper communication between a student and a tutor.
I believe every student has their own ways of studying. I will tailor lessons most suitable to my students while motivating them to complete homework. Homework is a fundamental necessity in order to be proficient at maths.
I teach my students based upon their understanding levels. I always encourage my student by giving motivational speech. I make them self dependent. I teach student individually and also in a group.
I believe every child has a different way of learning. So, as a tutor it is necessary to connect with the students personally. Mathematics is all about problems. If the basics are clear then the subject is a child's play. In my classes, I usually focus on teaching students basic concepts and then moving to problems. To boost students confidence, I conduct frequent assessments.
Typically when tutoring students I cater to their individual learning style. I don't find going through homework very helpful as this is something the students should be doing anyway, however if they find they need help with a few questions in particular of course I am happy to help.
Worked in DASMESH PUBLIC SCHOOL KOTKAPURA as TGT Science (2013-june201) Responsibilities: Providing guidance and advice to pupils on educational and social matters. Liaising with the parents or guardians of pupils. Looking after the teaching material and resources.
I approach each lesson by the topic that they are currently learning in school. If they are weak in any previous topics, i will focus on them first. If I fell that they are excellent in the current topic, I will teach them topics that have not been taught yet, so that they will be ahead of their class.
My teaching would best suit students looking to improve their timetables, arithmetic skills, alegbra, equations, geometry and trigonometry. I structure lessons around students based on what they are studying at the time, what they are struggling with most and what will benefit them in future topics.
My Teaching Methodology is to provide sufficient time and to motivate the student that he or she would feel very easy to sit and analyse the Maths. If any one is making study burden then he or she will not learn properly and would be very hard for him or her.
I put a strong emphasis on preparation to make the most of our time. Lesson Procedure: > Email the subject areas that need work or a specific assignment that you need help understanding. > I prepare material and resources for your lesson. > We work through the problems and I email practise material to prepare for our next session.
Lessons are typically one hour, with the first lesson being a free trial to see what level the student is at and what areas to focus on. The first part of the hour is focused on school work and upcoming tests/sacs etc. The latter part is spent on developing new skills and doing some sample questions that I have come up with to test those skills.
My teaching method includes simplified slide presentation and I try to connect whatever I teach with the real life experience. I also prepare notes for students and takes mini lectures to make the matter simple and clear.
I basically understand every student and evaluate their thinking capacity and will teach them accordingly to their potential.
I base my classes on how my uni lecturers structure our classes: 1. Lecture on the topic 2. A "Work it out" exercise at the end of each sub-topic 3. Ample opportunity for students to ask questions any time they don't understand anything 4. Tutorial session in which I will provide a worksheet composed of 3-5 questions 5.
To be certain of the quality of our tutors and their teaching,
we collect the reviews of all former students.
