Accounting (47) Units 1&2 and 3&4 Specialist Maths (44) Units 3&4 Physics (43) Units 3&4 EAL (43) Units 3&4 Methods (43) Units 1&2 and 3&4 Locations: CBD, Glen Waverley, Mount Waverley, Springvale, Clayton, Vermont South, Blackburn etc.. (can be discussed) Hi everyone, I graduated from Caulfield Grammar School in 2017 and currently studying the Bachelor of Commerce at Melbourne Uni.
I used to take lectures for undergraduate engineering students. I take both class lesson and practical lesson( either arranging some tour or laboratory experiments). The class lessons are generally based on fundamental and development of physical theory. Digital media can be used for better and easier understanding.
Worked in DASMESH PUBLIC SCHOOL KOTKAPURA as TGT Science (2013-june201) Responsibilities: Providing guidance and advice to pupils on educational and social matters. Liaising with the parents or guardians of pupils. Looking after the teaching material and resources.
I approach each lesson by the topic that they are currently learning in school. If they are weak in any previous topics, i will focus on them first. If I fell that they are excellent in the current topic, I will teach them topics that have not been taught yet, so that they will be ahead of their class.
My teaching would best suit students looking to improve their timetables, arithmetic skills, alegbra, equations, geometry and trigonometry. I structure lessons around students based on what they are studying at the time, what they are struggling with most and what will benefit them in future topics.
My Teaching Methodology is to provide sufficient time and to motivate the student that he or she would feel very easy to sit and analyse the Maths. If any one is making study burden then he or she will not learn properly and would be very hard for him or her.
I put a strong emphasis on preparation to make the most of our time. Lesson Procedure: > Email the subject areas that need work or a specific assignment that you need help understanding. > I prepare material and resources for your lesson. > We work through the problems and I email practise material to prepare for our next session.
Lessons are typically one hour, with the first lesson being a free trial to see what level the student is at and what areas to focus on. The first part of the hour is focused on school work and upcoming tests/sacs etc. The latter part is spent on developing new skills and doing some sample questions that I have come up with to test those skills.
Hello there! My name is Harry Luke and I am an experienced maths tutor who is ready to help you or your child achieve the results that you desire. I teach primary and secondary maths as well as VCE Further maths and unit 1-2 VCE Maths Methods.
I am a technology enthusiast with a passion for teaching.I have had the experience of working with high achieving students as well as with students requiring extra care to succeed academically.I try to tailor the lessons according to the needs of my students.
I would structure my teaching pattern as per the requirements and the capability of my students without putting them under any sort of pressure. The lesson structure will be a combination of learning, understanding and then practicing. I will take regular practice tests and also give my students practice tasks so that the students can implement what they learn and so don't forget them easily.
My teaching method includes simplified slide presentation and I try to connect whatever I teach with the real life experience. I also prepare notes for students and takes mini lectures to make the matter simple and clear.
I basically understand every student and evaluate their thinking capacity and will teach them accordingly to their potential.
I base my classes on how my uni lecturers structure our classes: 1. Lecture on the topic 2. A "Work it out" exercise at the end of each sub-topic 3. Ample opportunity for students to ask questions any time they don't understand anything 4. Tutorial session in which I will provide a worksheet composed of 3-5 questions 5.
I apply the base knowledge of learning styles such as visual, aural, spatial and kinesthetic to best suit the individuals educational needs.
Mathematics is a fun and simple subject which needs only understanding to solve the problems. Involving real life situations while teaching generates curiosity and interest among students. The lessons are always aimed to help understand the concept and its possible uses in real-life scenarios.
We all learn in a different way, at a different pace and as a personal tutor I can cater to your child's specific learning needs in a way that a teacher of 30 would not be able to. My goal is not just to boost grades but to teach a multitude of different skills that can be taken throughout the years of schooling and to help build confidence in ability while keeping it fun and interesting.
I believe in creating the logic's and concepts of mathematics very clear to students so that they learn maths in a interesting and simple way.
I have mostly teached one on one, can do either distant (Skype) or at home, in both theory and practical problem solving. I have a practical approach and like to teach the methodology and provide insight as well as concrete answers.
I try to teach my students in the best possible ways. I give examples which makes it really easy for the students to understand. I always try to build the students from the core which would help them in their future studies as well.
Mathematics is a "cumulative learning" subject - and so certain gaps in a student's knowledge are likely to affect their marks. In particular, I focus on filling these gaps and helping students develop a genuine understanding for Mathematics, and further aiding them in their revision strategies and exam techniques.
1. Structure of lesson: Tutor learning material for each subject is adapted according to individual student’s need. Key concepts will be thoroughly explained, with a quick recap at the beginning of each lesson, followed by worksheet so as to identify the weak point of the student. The remaining time will then be spent to address those weak points. 2.
I am an active student who believes in systematic studying to achieve ultimate results. This involves not just merely reading and understanding a topic, but self-testing and focusing on short answer questions that have been proven to enable better retention of information.
I understand that there are various learning styles and usually spend time to get to know which environment my students learn best in. This is why I try to make sure all my classes are tailored to how each student absorbs and retains information best.
Most important thing is a person should love the subject which she wants ti teach to others and moreover the way one teaches,is much more important Some times a teacher should should his or her technique of study which depends on students and a tutor should capable to do that
I'm an experienced Math tutor. I can really bond with students from 11-17-years old. I graduated from Mechanical Engineering and I've been tutoring students since I was a student. I'm not from Australia but don't worry, I was also an English teacher (TEFL) with international experience (The Netherlands and USA). I can teach all levels, from beginners to advanced.
Currently studying a bachelor of Primary Education at the University of Wollongong. I am a very energetic and enthusiastic person willing to guide students in enhancing their ability and skills in the area of Mathematics. Lessons will provide students with written and hypothetical examples to help develop their understanding towards the Mathematical areas of algebra, trigonometry, and statistics.
I believe in trial and error. If a student incorrectly believes something to be true, I try to lead him/her into a path that eventually makes him/her see that what he/she initially thought cannot be correct.
I always try to explain the theory by using fun experience in the simplest way. Before starting the new section, I always remind the old knowledge in 5-10 min. The key knowledge will be summarized at the end. My method can help the students to remember the knowledge instead of memorizing.
I try my best to help students understand mathematical concepts. I don't believe homework is necessary to achieve great scores, as being curious and asking questions is far more effective. Usually I go through current school work with students, but can teach new content if necessary.
