My methodology revolves mainly around understanding the individual students needs. So recognising learning style, applying suitable activities and then challenging their understanding and learning with new ways of perceiving content they may not have been taught in the past.
I take a friendly and engaging approach to teaching and working with kids in any setting. Building up confidence and ensuring basics are well understood in order for knowledge to grow and for kids to flourish in their studies and as a person with confidence and pride in their own work and abilities. Lessons adaptable to each students' needs.
My teaching method is predominately based on proving students with simple yet intensive notes based on the work that they are currently completing in class. I will go through the notes explain and teach them to my student thoroughly, this step is crucial to my teaching method as I know that some students learn better when being conversed to about the modules they are learning.
I believe that a gentle yet firm approach works best with students unable to grasp the concepts being taught in class. A comfortable one on one session, in order to feel out what works best for the student, is ideal.
I approach helping students by first understanding how they write, and how I can work with their style to keep their work authentic and personal. My philosophy is to improve on what is your OWN work, as personal writing is very distinctive and valuable.
My teaching methodology involves fostering a love for language, this is achieved through getting to know the student's interests and gearing tasks around these. With tasks that students are actually interested in they will be significantly more motivated to complete them. I also focus on the holistic nature of English encompassing producing, consuming, analyzing and critical and creative thinking.
My teaching method comprises of teaching children in a fun manner that develops critical thinking. Learning should be a fun, enjoyable process that engages both student and teacher. I don't believe in getting children to remember facts to simply recite back.
My teaching methods are very flexible and differ greatly from one student to the next based on what we both decide would advance their learning best. I aim to give students a very personalised experience, becoming well versed with what it is we will be studying and offering them relevant literature that I think will help further their writing style and understanding.
