It depends on person or your request. Basically, I start with the basic of Japanese. And then, I will teach the grammar and how to annalize the structures. I try to teach Japanese to let people like learning Japanese or Japan.
I'm Japanese and a student at UNSW, willing to teach practical Japanese at UNSW or nearby cafe. I can teach you both of speaking and writing skill. My policy is "practical and memorable way of teaching". My methodology would be decided along with your opinion.
Main lesson is conversation . Because conversation by Japanese which is not difficult language. Everyone improves so quickly and they can speak easy Japanese soon. However, I can teach your requirement whatever. For example, basic communication for travel, understand Japanese comics or anime, basic and specific topic conversation etc....
I will tailor the lesson according to the student, but a typical class would start from learning some vocabulary, trying to use it in a dialogue(oral/written), reading a text using the new grammar and vocabulary introduced and translating it under my supervision.
Whatever that is related to Japanese can be provided with you. It does not matter how you are good at Japanese. I can help you with any levels of Japanese. If you are a beginner of Japanese, I will search for appropriate textbooks for you and I can help you make faster progress in the textbooks.
I will manage the lesson according to the student. I like to take it at the learners pace and cover all aspects of Japanese.
My teaching is specifically tailored to each students’ needs. I am not a robot. I understand everyone’s specific learning needs and lessons will be paced accordingly. I have a strong emphasis in reflection, which involves the revisiting of content learnt in previous lessons in order to remember the important points.
Firstly, I prefer teaching in more practical way, so I would like to implement a lots of out put practices so that students can absorb what they learn as much as they can. Also, I like authentic Japanese. Therefore, I teach more authentic and efficient Japanese which area frequently used by Japanese natives. Lastly, I like direct method to teach Japanese.
My Teaching style is normal conversation. Any topic will be welcome. We will keep asking questions each other and digging the theme deeply. I can see the things from several viewpoints, so we might change topic sometimes. I will be open and honest as (even tho) Japanese person. I always try to make you laugh because I don't like boring lesson.
I prepare lessons according to individual learner's interest and goals. I pick materials from textbooks, internet sources, hand made ones accordingly.
My teaching method is to use illustration, images, music, clips, to inspire the passion or the will of studying the language for students. I am aiming to give the student the ability to communicate in Japanese first, then other things like grammar, vocab later.
My teaching philosophy for languages is based on the idea that language is a tool of communication rather than a subject at school. We focus on building on the fundamentals to be able to use the language freely. We do also work on exam strategies but lessons will be carried out in Japanese as much as possible to develop an authentic learning environment.
I always adapt my teaching methods to my students preferences. Whether you would prefer to focus on everyday conversational Japanese, you want to watch anime without subtitles or you would like to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test in the future, I will tailor my classes to your needs.
Based on current curriculums, flexible to match student's style. I personally have done the Australian HSC myself, so i do have first-hand experience to what the markers are looking for and how to ace the Japanese exams.
I have a lot of experience of Japanese language education both in class and private lessons and therefore can teach you in various ways from beginner to advanced level. I'm sure that I can help you to learn Japanese and also Japanese culture.
I prefer to organise a free first lesson to get familiar with the student as well as their needs. By doing so I will be able to understand the areas the require improvement in. I also like to take a short quiz within this lesson to further decide what the student may need touching up on.
My teaching method is enjoying studying Japanese. So I will use some quiz, Word chain, something like this, and also I'll use the handout.
I am very good at teaching all of areas in Japanese teaching. They include speaking skills, listening, reading and writing, teaching cultural knowledge of both Japanese traditional aspects and current ones, communication skills, manner/etiquette and creating/enhancing learners' motivation and confidence in learning the language/subject.
My teaching is mainly play-based as I believe learning should be fun as children learn more and better when they are engaged. I also use a lot of encouragement through my teaching. I'd love all my students to be a confident learner.
I make materials for each student individually, so as to tailor to each student's personal needs and areas to work on. I prepare a range of materials that will be able to help the student's reading, writing, listening and speaking abilities.
As a non-native speaker of Japanese language I can understand just how hard it can be to learn, so I like to take it at the learners pace and cover all aspects of Japanese (reading, writing, pronunciation, speaking, etc). I am happy to teach any age from primary school students to adults just starting to learn the language.
I teach practically by practising speaking, reading, listening and writing skills comprehensively and only refer to textbooks occasionally for questions for exercises.
My teaching methods involve getting to know the students' personalities and interests and using authentic texts and ICT to engage them in learning. I try to encourage students to compare Japanese language and culture with that of their own so that their language proficiency can progress.
My teaching methodology is based on multiple intelligences. I’m good at engaging any students with many strategies such as musical, visual, verbal and so on.
I believe in a passion for the techniques required to learn a language and want to pass on this passion to others. Japanese is a very intricate language and requires a lot of focus and dedication so I want to inspire my students to become invested in the Japanese language and culture beyond my lessons.
