I usually have young students and I like to discover their interest, so that I can plan classes accordingly. I believe its very important to be able to communicate, so I prepare my student to be able to hold an everyday conversation. Usually we act and we immagine to be in some Italian setting enviroment.
My teaching philosophy is centred on understanding. My belief is that if a student has the proper groundwork in place, they can achieve anything! Hence, my focus tends not to be on just completing a specific assignment or task but on a deeper comprehension of the Italian language and its features.
I don't like having a standard method to apply for everyone, I like personalizing lessons based on every single individual. I base my lessons on the level and needs of every single student so to get him/her achieving his/her goals as soon as possible. I like to keep my lessons creative, maybe alternating regular lessons with cultural lessons (for example cooking traditional dishes).

My teaching methods will depend on the students needs and objectives. But for sure, not every class will be the same and you'll get to enjoy while you learn a new language. My Honours thesis was about a gamification strategie, so you'll learn either playing or have tutorials based on your interests and hobbies.
I structure my lessons like this: In the first one I value the level of the students and find out what’s the main reason they want to take lessons, whether it is for improving their vocabulary, grammar, or even if only for being able to go on holidays.

My teaching method depends on your current level of Italian. If you are a beginner I start with grammar and main vocabulary and verbs. I start following the book or other material trying to focus on the grammar as it is a very important part of learning a new language. at the same time, I do a lot of speaking with my student as it is the only way to get into a new language quickly and effectively.
My teching method is going to depend from who I have in front of me. I'm going to structure my lessons differently if I'm teaching to students or if I'm dealing with people just interested in learning the language for private reasons.
My classes are always based on communication: direct interaction is extremely important, especially to learn a foreign languange. According to the kind of students, his/her background, the lesson structure will be the following: - brief introduction of grammar and vocabulary; - everydaylife text reading and comprehension; - discuss on the previous topic.
I approach classes with a grammar background which is essential to understand the language as well as a cultural background. I focus on conversation, writing skills and all the other aspects needed to teach a language and its values.

Since I’m a native Italian speaker I would be able to help you learn how to speak with confidence and set an easy going atmosphere in order to feel more like a nice conversation in front of a cup of coffee than a strict one-way lesson
I don't use the same metod with all student, I prefer to have a 1st lesson to discuss and understand what can be the best way for you... If you like homeworks or not, if you have a better visual memory or audio memory... I prepare the lesson suited to the student.
I create my own material. I teach using practical real life situation and role play. I don't teach grammar as the main aspect to learn but only when in a context and by recognising patterns of the language.
Our tutors write articles on their subject to help you better understand the material.
