I used to teach English for italians and usually I would organise my classes like this : i would arrange a meeting with the student, access his knowloedge of the language and identify the main mistakes.
We follow a communicative method: from the first day of lessons and at each ability level, only Italian is spoken in class. We put particular emphasis on spoken language and on communication, but also deal with the 4 base abilities (reading, writing, oral comprehension and speaking).
It all starts with understanding your motivation and goals, then I'll make sure to tailor each lesson to your individual needs and learning style.
My teaching method is to make you feel comfortable with another language. I usually use films and songs in order to make the comprehension easier.
Because I'm not a teacher I used to call my classes "conversation classes" we were just talking in Italian and I was correcting their pronunciation and grammar
My classes are always based on communication: direct interaction is extremely important, especially to learn a foreign languange. According to the kind of students, his/her background, the lesson structure will be the following: - brief introduction of grammar and vocabulary; - everydaylife text reading and comprehension; - discuss on the previous topic.
My teaching method alternates theory and practice, games, music, use of educational material, readings, literature books, poetry, exercises. My lessons are always very dynamic and interactive. For me it is important to teach but in a fun and never boring way.
I love helping students and assisting them in the best possible way. I adapt my teaching method to the student's needs and difficulties. I'm very patient and I think that every student is unique. I teach foreign languages in a practical and interactive way.
A language is nothing, if not an alive entity. In order to learn it, one has to experience it, so my lessons will include speaking, writing, reading, listening, grammar, and the lesson won't finish there: assignments will be included. Not usual one, though, but live ones: movies, songs, everything that can help human memory imprint new information.
I like to teach people what they like and what they want to learn. So that I'm sure no lesson is boring.
I base my classes on speaking (mostly) and learning new words/expressions at the same time. Also, I focus on giving as many questions as possible, so that the students will feel "forced" to speak by using his own personal vocabulary.
Hello! I'm a 25 years old girl who just moved in Sydney from Rome.
I believe creating rapport with my students to build trust and confidence so they feel comfortable applying their new skills. I firmly believe conversation and repetition are vital.
Reading and listening are fundamental to improve language skills and during the class I will help you to learn how to communicate and live in Italy. I can prepare students for an exam or help everyone to study for a certificate.
During the first lesson I always give the student a survey and ask the music they like, their hobbies, their favourite food and their expectation and together we discuss the best way for me to teach and for him/her to learn :)
My teaching methodology consist in apply the English method study for foreign students - adapted in Italian - to English people who wants to learns Italian
I base my classes on the students needs and interests and I like to tailor-make my program, including activities such as movies, songs and games. I alternate the grammar part with the cultural side of the Italians . I teach even Italian gestures .
My teaching method focuses (for beginners) on the bases and grammar of the Italian language. For pro and business people I focus and improve the skills of the students starting from the bases and grammar and applying them to the subject and industry of interest. Listening-comprehension is important with attention on how to spell and pronounce the words correctly.
with my method, you will learn the basic sound and vocabulary so that you will be able to start small conversations then slowly and naturally progress into complex structures.
I have a positive attitude and like to have a casual approach to the study of a foreign language
I usually teach the language in an interactive way, doing grammar exercises, listening to songs, watching video on YouTube and reading articles
My teaching method is based on communication, and I believe that is the key for effective teaching (and learning!). I like to discuss with my students what they think their strength and weaknesses are in the subject, so that we can start working from there.
I base my classes entirely on the need of the student. That can vary from a solely conversational class guided by the news for proficient adults or a grammar lead session to pass school exams to a mix of the two for people who just want to learn the language as well as game/play sessions for little kids.
For students completing Italian, it’s so important that to practises all 4 skills that they will be tested on consistently. To do this growing the vocabulary and learning idioms is so important to stand out to markers and sound authentic in writing.
My teaching method is knowing ones person strengths and difficulties and then working on the difficulties, I can provide exercises and other activities
My lessons are tailored to the needs, preferences, skills, and learning style of each student. Therefore, my teaching methodology may vary according to these. Whether it involves a lot of conversation, activities and games, or grammar exercises, the focus is on achieving the goal set at the beginning of the course and on keeping the student motivated and satisfied.
My lessons are based mostly on basic grammar components, obviously depending on the student level. I believe it's fundamental to focus on the basics so to continue to build up and succeed in a language. The grammar explanations are followed by exercises aimed to understand and consolidate the theory.
As I learn several languages by myself, my teaching method is focused on conversation and music listening combined learning and understanding of grammar
My name is Milly and I have recently finished high school- I want to help students achieve their best with grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and oral practice to HSC students and give tips and tricks on how to achieve the highest band as well as how to avoid errors.
I taught Italian to groups of children of different ages in various childcare centres. I also teach one to one basis and small groups of different ages and different level. I love to keep the classes interesting and to make everybody feel comfortable and engaged. I think that grammar is important but also important is to build confidence in my student.
