My classes will be educational, eye opening and enjoyable. I want to understand my student's ability to draw then challenge them from that knowledge. Understanding what my student's love to draw is the first step, then teaching my student's the fundamentals of what the subject matter is next.
Growing up with a much younger brother, I learned patience very quickly! When teaching I believe it’s critical to take into consideration the personal goals of the student and how they learn, be it by doing or seeing; maturity of the student must also be factored in, as a child will respond to different language and concepts than a teenager or adult.
Mainly I like to guide and help my students build their knowledge through their own personal effort and research, making them realising everything that is related to their subject and giving them all the necessary means to evolve on their own. Building strong foundation of knowledge so in the future everything will add up.
In classes we have covered a lot of techniques in painting and drawing, textures , clay and sculpture. A lot of craft and collage has been done as a fun complimenting addition to what you could do with art and to show how so many materials could be mixed. I had an individual approach to every student, as everyone of them had different likes and interests, some preferred one technique to another.
My teaching methods are based on my past learnings from my Architecture school. Will help with do's and don'ts in Architecture sketching, photography and rendering.
A drawing/illustrating course goes for 11 lessons of 2,5 hours. A course for children goes for 1,5 hours. You can take a whole year for an online course. All materials provided (except for the online course). Besides the basics of drawing, you will learn how to illustrate your writing or thoughts. All this in a structured but gentle and uncomplicated way.
As a teacher of senior art for nearly 15 years I create programmes specifically designed for the students’ needs addressing both strengths and weaknesses. I teach and work from my private studio set in woodlands by the beach at Emu Park on Queensland’s tropical Capricorn Coast.
I believe drawing underpins all art disciplines. I believe everyone can learn to draw. I believe art can play a crucial role in well-being. My teaching method is inclusive of all age groups and all personalities with a focus in developing each students individual style. Perfect for high school students wanting to develop skills to support their HSC outcomes.
My teaching method is very practical and hands-on with a lot of emphasis on smart, thoughtful, and structured practice. During most of the classes that I teach, I do. Which means that I do a lot of demonstrations and paint overs for the students showing them exactly step by step what needs to be done to complete the work.
My teaching method is I work intuitively and I have a core belief that everyone is creative in there own way I love working with colour and I combine the creative process with a range of techniques to support your outcome.
We'd explore and look at what you're passionate about ,hobbies, social issues or topics etc. that we'd address and incorporate into the design process.
My method of teaching is straightforward. Learn the basics first, have fun and the rest will follow. I have taught cartooning one-on-one and in group sessions of 12. Whether you want to learn for fun or profit...I can help.
I can adapt to the style that the student wants to learn. I believe that art has to be enjoyed, while being covered with professionalism. I want my classes to be as entertaining as possible while still being efficient. I can work with children and adults indistinctly.
I encourage students to identify the learning style that works best for them, and provide continuous positive support. My students have thrived in a fun learning environment through the use of visuals and practical experience. I have experience engaging students from as young as 4 years old, through to tertiary level.
My lessons will be relaxed and educational. I will start with the basics of drawing; material, line, perspective, texture and shading. My lessons would be geared toward students and Adults.
I would like to teach art in a motivational way, where we can share interesting ideas and be in a comfortable space. I believe that learning art (and everything else) is without limitations and you can learn it at any age. Art is an amazing way to express your inner thoughts and feelings, it can be delicate or intense, and it can be a spiritual experience too.
I will ask what is the most thing the students interesting to draw. and will give them a guid to open the new angle for the art work. The structure will be the question, and discussion. research for good samples, and explanation painting method. Giving the drawing step by step examples then let tudent practice. and last is review for improvments and recomandation for futher training might needs.
It is important to find which medium, tools and subject matter work for you. This can only be found through experimenting! Be connected to your work...tell a story. I find my best work evolves over several courses and is telling a personal story...sometimes one I did not expect.
I will first evaluate your level of art described here: (concealed information) I can only help those at a level below Level 4. We can work on what you think you need to improve on or if you have a general goal (I want to draw realistic) or (I want to draw manga) then we will start from the basics and work our way up.
I base my lesson plans on what the client is interested in learning, whether that be a particular technique, style of art, or medium. A typical lesson will include information on technique, a time for practical application (with guidance along the way) as well as a final critique and homework.
My teaching method is to examine and explore many forms of Drawing using diverse mediums; pencil, graphite, charcoal, coloured pencil, ink, textured paper. I encourage the use of drawing journals and life drawing. I love nature and people and find infinite inspiration from life for my drawing classes. I create a relaxed non-competitive environment and encourage all forms of expression.
My teaching method is to begin by going over the last lesson we had and then continuing to the next lesson. I believe that revision is very important in learning anything including art. I am always asking what the student would like to improve on or work on during the session, making it their decision and keeping them apart of the process.
Everybody is different. My way of training depends on what fits you best. I believe in an individual approach. We will have a short chat to understand your artistic background and strengths, get to know what subjects you want to create and I will adjust the lessons accordingly.
I have a practical, kinaesthetic approach to teaching which is very hands on, practical demonstrations and activities for students. I also like to explain how design or art can be used not just for a gallery, but for commercial work, creating a passive income.
I provide a fun, no-pressure, no-bullshit approach to teaching that caters to individual student needs and desires. Whether you wanna become a better comic book illustrator, or you wanna have your work exhibited in galleries, or you just want to learn how to draw and paint as a hobby; I'm here to entertain and support you.
My main objective is to find a way for the student to express themselves and find their own style of art, a lot of artists are stuck in a "technique" mindset and they fail to produce something unique. While teaching the student the fundamental techniques of drawing and painting my ultimate goal will be the development of a unique style that the student can call their own.
My teaching method is to keep things light, fun and enjoyable. I look at what motivates my students rather than following a rigid methodology. For example I taught adults and children watercolour and sculpture in Japan, drawing and colouring to English students in Singapore, singing and drawing in Vietnam and lastly made colourful board games in 2D and 3D to motivate children in HK.
A standard lesson will begin with understanding what the student needs to learn in order to complete the task in question. I will help the student understand what is asked of them to complete the task and then I will show the correct design methods and tools needed to achieve this.
Hands on and lots of fun, these classes are sculpted around each student's personal needs and interests. For anyone who enjoys creating, I will design a class to suit you! My name is Alysha and I am a Fine Art Honours 1 university graduate. My skills span from an array for mediums and techniques to art theory and art history.
My lessons are geared towards people who love fine art but do not have the foundation of drawing and painting. My teaching method is divided into two parts, one is telling students how to get started for drawing and painting, the other is showing examples to students and imparting some essential skills to them.

Perfect! I had one lesson with Alison and I found it enjoyable. Alison was patient and she taught me some new skills. I will be seeing Alison again for a Manga drawing tutorial. Thank you Tanya.
Perfect! Mysti's first lesson with Joycelin was everything I hoped for and more. Joycelin's bubbly personality overcame Mysti initial shyness and when I collected Mysti at the end of the lesson they were laughing and looking very relaxed together. Joycelin...
