I first like to understand what my students want to achieve at the end of their classes. Be it learning the basics, learning a completely new dance style, further developing what they already know or just preparing for a performance. My teaching style will vary depending on the comfortability of the student/s and their end goal.
My teaching is very simple but highly technical. My choreographies are mostly based on the character of the music and this way the steps are very creative and fun to watch and dance for it. This way people who are really looking forward to loosen up can start being more out-spoken in dance and can be more confident.
My teaching method is based around safety and strengthening as I get my students ready for performing and competing. My students are respectful and encouraging towards each other, I look forward to what my students bring to my classes every week.
Teaching Modern and Contemporary, I would go through Limon and Graham Technics. For Hip-Hop teaching, I can teach Old School Hip-Hop, Est Coast U.S.A. I can teach the basics of Locking/Popping and waking, West Coast Hip-Hop U.S.A. I would always talk about history before starting to teach a new group. It's the base for me. I will always start my classes with Dance Technics, including the warm-up.
My teaching method can be one-on-one or groups, depending on the students' preference. I can work as a private dance teacher, so I can do an at-home tutoring. I can also teach student dance routines for a competition or general performance.
Always believe a tutor should be nothing but more than a friend. I will be flexible with my hours and is ready to work as a team. Will be approachable and showcase mature charactor. Will be well planned prior to classes.
The reason I love teaching is that I get to pass on not only my extensive knowledge but my passion for expression, creativity and fitness through movement. My classes build a strong technical foundation in order for you to excel in any genre, but in a way that doesn't take away from the joy and fun that dance should bring to your life.
There's no right or wrong in my classes, I'm here to help you discover your way of moving through a set of movement I provide you in class. I believe there's no limit to what art/dance can be seen as. However there is still structures and techniques that will help you to achieve a better version of your self. That's what my classes are for.
I always choose a story to tell or a topic to talk about and that’s where we start.
As a performer, I am still learning and gaining new knowledge everyday, which inspires me as a dancer. My motivation as a teacher is to help my students improve and achieve to the best of their ability. I want to help my students discover their own style of dance, to help them in the future with choreographic style.
1. in starting, i teach them to let them know what is dancing. 2. toward, i'll teach them how to express their selves 3. finally, i will teach them the unique style which probably make them unique then others 4. main aim is to be happy while you dance. FEEL IT.
For my classes it is very important that my students understand and understand very well what I am dictating to them.
Generally, I will try to incorporate different styles of dances in my choreos which include urban, Krump, pop-lock, Charleston, footwork dances and of course Hip Hop. Open to teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced dancers. My philosophy towards dancing is to always be original and be able to fully express yourself when dancing.
I start with basics. Teaching groove and rhythm with focus on fundamentals. Routines play a small role in what I do, but learning to freestyle spontaneously is the key to becoming a great dancer, rather than merely learning by the numbers.
I base my classes on the individuals confidence and level, I approach all classes and participants with a positive and fun attitude, as I believe that when teaching it doesn't feel like a hierarchy and/or serious environment, it should feel comfortable, easy going and stress feel, so the participants don't feel stress, anxious and/or uncomfortable I also offer dance classes for fun, I can help...
My teaching method First step,How to make rhythm and locking basic and danceing this is base for almost dance Second step,How to dance on the music with locking dance and party dance, Third step,What is funk:about culture, how to free style after make a cyper
I like to keep my classes light and ALWAYS fun. With a level of respect hard work will come forward. Assisting technique, fitness and performance quality in a supportive, encouraging and fun environment. For me, always gave the best results.
I enjoy teaching all levels and all abilities all I ask is that you give it your best shot and make the effort in class and you will see results. A typical class would be - 20 minutes warm up - 20 minutes technical focus - 20 minutes choreography.
On offer are solo or group lessons in the following styles/syllabus of dance: ballet (RAD & ATOD), jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, modern, national/character & traditional Greek. I can also offer stretch/flexibility/strengthening classes & guided meditation/relaxation.
Classes will always start with a warm up. That will be followed by technique and then move into learning some choreography. I am a very demonstrative teacher and never rush my students through learning technique or a new step.
I'm a dancer and dancing has been my hobby since I was in elementary/primary school. I competed in the Hip-Hop International (dance competition) in Thailand and also taught K-Pop dance choreographies part-time in a dance studio in Thailand. I like to teach dance and share my style and tips on dancing to others who are curious and willing to learn and have fun.
My teaching methods are based on the clients ability and experience in dancing hip hop. I teach any age that is willing to have fun and learn something new each lesson. Lessons will include basic training which will help with learning and performing a set routine.
My teaching method is about having fun & enjoying the gift of dance. Dance is a gift we give to ourselves. For there is magic in movement. (my favourite quote) it's about growth, & getting to know yourself. An experience... Oh & learning new moves.
My method is all about having fun, I love to see people leave with smiles on there faces, that’s what I love
Depending on the end goal. I want my students to be confident and walk out of the studio having had a great time and feeling fit, healthy and keen to come back.
I want to share my love for dancing with others and I want to show them how magical it can be. Also I purely just want to make people happy with my artform. -I have been dancing for over 7 years and have also been teaching at various places before group or private classes. I can teach all level so come join me and learn about this magical thing call dance.
First of all, If students want to become real dancers, not just hobby, I always wait for students til they find their own way to express the moves, it must be difficult to find their own dancing moves but they always end up finding it. And if dancing is their hobby, I make new choreographies, fitting their levels.
I believe that dance is more about feeling the music from within.Let the music flow into you and bring out dance from you.I focus more on feeding my students with technicality of dance and introduce them tot the right culture of dance.Every dance form has a meaning to express, the students are believed to perform better with more knowledge about what they are doing.
I teach in many different ways, because my students have differents personalitys. I first teach the choreograpgy easily and slowly, until everybody has learned. Afterwards, we will keep improving each step, to make a beautiful dance and also to sweat a lot (to make beatiful bodys :P). The thing you need to know is: you just can't stand still.
My teaching method is a very fun, non-judgemental, open minded, and inviting method. I make sure that you feel comfortable and is learning and understanding something at the same time. I will also discuss about what your goals are.
