My teaching method revolves around using Orff and Kodaly methods of music pedagogy. During lessons, we will focus on technique and musical awareness. In turn this will give you the ability to learn music that you enjoy at your own pace.
All my student are able to play part of a song after the first lesson, I find songs that they like and will focus on playing that as soon as possible.
My teaching philosophy revolves around a real-world student centred approach (SCL) in which the goals of the student are my utmost focus. I aim to develop students understanding of guitar, relevant to their personal aims, whilst they gain a a real-world understanding of relevant music theories.
I like to teach by guiding a student along, from the basics to the more advanced material. I'd like to be teaching a student how to play the guitar as if it's second nature, and generally would like things to be light-hearted and fun.
Hi there! :) I am Wyandrhine and I am an 18 year old high school graduate from Northpine Christian College. I believe my music education in and outside of school, practical experiences, self-learning, and my enthusiastic and outgoing personality would make me your great tutor.
My approach to teaching is using interest and play based learning, in conjunction with basics and fundamentals. Using passion to drive the learning experience, to have positive reinforcement and achieve best results. Individualizing a program based on each students needs and customizing the lessons.
I suggest an individual approach in tutoring: the teaching program depends on personal demand of each student. Instruction will vary depending on particular student'a need and goal. That is why objectives can range from easy to hard tasks. To summarize: my teaching method depends a lot of the subject and the student itself.
My teaching methods are tailored to individual styles of music. By doing this, you learn to play the songs that you love, which is why you want learn to play guitar. That's why i wanted to learn the guitar, and it makes learning fun. That leads to faster learning.
I will teach you how to read simple music scores for classical guitar and technical basics for fingerstyle guitar. I will also teach you basic chords. I will provide you with my own notes which are edited from what my guitar instructors had taught me over the years. We will do practices and drills depending on how fast you are catching on.
Fun is critical to a good lesson! I believe that optimal learning is best facilitated in a calm environment free from distractions.

Music is my true passion for life and I love teaching people how to play and love showing how to express a true passion for music. I can teach all levels and like to teach from basics all the way to experienced including scales. I've been playing for about 35 years all over the world with many different bands.
One of my teaching methods is to explore what sort of skills, songs, genres, and music theory that students are interested in and provide the best and fastest way to achieve their goals (Because no one would have much motivation of learning something that they are not interested in honestly).
Hello my name is kristian and I've been playing guitar for about 35 years and been in many bands all over the world. I play acoustic and electric, I use fender strat and Gibson les Paul played through a Marshall tube with a boss me80 for effects.
My teaching method is firstly to find out what the learner is interested in style wise. Second is determining what level they are at. Thirdly is devising a plan that covers techniques and songs with a harder song being the eventual goal. After reaching that goal, we will set harder goals and I will provide guidance to reach them.
I teach what you want to learn because it's called "playing" guitar, not "working" guitar. A few simple chords to impress the girl next door? Sure thing. Breaking down a complicated Ben Howard melody? Totally. Creating your own version of a Tom Petty masterpiece? Absolutely.
Patience and understanding in the face of struggling and confusion. Teaching is another word for guidance which I have prevailed upon every student I have ever encountered from the illiterate grade 3 classroom to the independent intellectual professor. We come to realize we know less and less as we get older and older with there being so much more to learn out there in the world.
Evaluate the student's skill level and genders of interest in music, identification of their main difficulties, attend to each one properly in order to achieve a cleanear sound and a smooth play with more and more comfort with the instrument. Provide them with the necessary exercises and techniques to allow them to maintain a good level os satisfaction and sense of progress.
I hope to create a spark in beginner guitarists that I once felt myself. I will base my lessons on the type of music my students prefer, while also providing base level skills that are required to progress further into the music world. I believe that practice and passion will follow after enjoyment has begun.
My classes start with what it is the students want to achieve, be that playing for their own recreation, performing or recording. Its about having fun and exploring their musical interests.
I approach teaching music though what each student is suited so we will start with the basics and then move on from that.
I tailor my teaching to the needs of the student with both style and type of instrument and try to motivate my students through playing songs that they like encouraging them to practice on their own. I tend to use both online resources as well as books that I scan and share with my students online.
You tell me what song you want to learn and I will prepare for the lesson.
At SCHOOL OF GUITAR we focus on fun to keep our students engaged. We teach theory and technique through the songs YOU want to play. We like to think of our style as “Coaching”… bringing out the inner ability rather than “Teaching” tired “Old” syllabus. We’ll work with you to create a personalised plan to help you reach your goals.
As stated above i base it on the brain requiring a small network for each guitar skill, once laid slow and gentle with correct posture, the neuron network becomes stronger and stronger, till you can do it full on without years practice.
My teaching is both practical and theoretical, with an emphasis on improving technique, aural skills, repertoire and exposure to modern musical approaches. Lessons are either in person or online and tailored to the individual. Music is the real teacher, but I aim to guide, inspire and clarify.
I teach through music theory and the breaking down of individuals aspired song learning into bite-sized pieces for one comfort in learning to play the guitar. I come with chord knowledge and a recommendation of songs to start with, but if an individual wishes to learn any specific songs I can prepare and work on that song with them in the following lesson.
My teaching methods are based on proven results, I prefer the student to receive lessons in a variety of music styles, using both traditional and modern approaches to learning. Lessons are geared towards receiving new information each class with progressive understanding.
When it comes to Guitar I am self taught but have picked up many new skills along the way from other musicians. With my singing it came naturally from childhood after I developed a love for music and would sing along to all styles but I am mostly classed as a country artist.
My teaching method focuses on helping the student become comfortable behind a guitar, paying particular attention towards technique and theoretical applications such as fingerpicking, strumming, fretting, chordal and melody conjunction, as well as the ability to fluently read tablature.
