My way of teaching is quite personal, everyone has different ambitions with playing guitar. One wants to follow a teaching method, the other only wants to learn songs they like etcetera. Basically, I offer everything but I will always recommend a structured teaching method because in my opinion a good base/foundation is a must if you want to take your skills towards a higher level.
Lessons will be tailored to the students ability, needs and interests. These can involve: learning the Grade curriculum, learning a new piece, building up an understanding of scales, music theory and how it can be applied to the instrument, and working on correct technique in order to develop speed and fluidity. They will also be as fun and relaxed as possible while still working hard.
I like to teach by first of all finding out what kind of thing the pupil would like to learn about. There is no point in learning something that doesn’t interest you otherwise you will never fully grasp it.
Guitar lessons based on the books of Henrique Pinto, from the first contact with the instrument to an advanced level, with occasional parallel pieces and studies when necessary. Besides the technical aspects of playing the instrument, the classes also include notions of musical theory (sheet music reading, harmony, sight reading).
I try to deliver lessons based purely on the student’s needs. Some require guidance in technique, others in feel or confidence. I aim to work at a pace that suits the student, and prefer the student to dictate the learning speed. This enables the student to feel appropriately comfortable and removes any element of pressure on the student to succeed.
Having playing since so long and taught so many people, I have understood and developed my own techniques which are aimed to bring out the best in my students. Also, as i am only doing it for a while, I would want to teach as much as possible and bring out quality playing in as little time as possible.
Depending on the age of the student, I start with basic chord fingerings and charts to learn CAGE first position chords. I also like to talk with the student about music, and to teach them songs that they are interested in.
I found out where my students' interests are and work from there. I can get involved teaching most kinds of music to keep the students motivated. Once I find out the type of music they enjoy it is more fun for them.
I like to teach with a bespoke 2 way dialogue between tutor and student. I believe that each student has their own individual needs and there is no "one size fits all" style of guitar lesson. I am happy to help you work towards grades or if you just want to build up skills for learning pieces for fun then I can offer that too.
I base my lessons on your abilities and the interest you have and time and effort you are willing to put into it. I provide my own learning guides and information as well as urls and links for you to use on your own personal time.
The purpose of my classes is to create Musicians with the technical and musical ability to understand and evolve in any musical style besides creating a proper way of playing, understanding that music is an art form and how every art form seeks to express.
I teach from absolute beginner, and have taught up to grade 6 Rockschool exam level. I tailor my lessons specifically to the individual students requirements and needs. Whether that's learning songs to play to friends socially, or working towards exam grades, learning technique, style etc.
Each students has different talents my job is to bring that talent out. I start a plan according to individual student's passion and time. Watch the students growth and help in any difficulty on their path being a successful guitar player.
First, understand what the student knows, and from there on, the methodology. From musical theory as the practice of the instrument itself chosen to learn. With sympathy and practice behind practice until you reach the intended level. With musical guidelines to learn.
Hello! I am Kristian, I would love to get you started with acoustic, Spanish or electric guitar lessons! I have been a musician for more than 10 years, for this I incorporate my guitar knowledge to improve your effective and fast learning. The genres that I use best with the guitar are: pop, blues, folk, jazz, metal and rock.
Really all depends on who I'm teaching. If im teaching a beginner, we start from the first steps. I like to teach everybody differently, because everyone has their own way of understanding. It also depends on where they are in guitar playing.
Available to teach students of all ages and levels of proficiency in guitar with the addition of music theory and production when desired. I want to teach students what THEY want to learn and always looking for the best personalized method for the individual. I am equally comfortable teaching on both ACOUSTIC and ELECTRIC guitar.
Music is the language and music is also emotional.
I teach not by telling the student what to do but inspiring them to work things out and learn how to translate what they want to do, this way they find their own style
My approach is to facilitate an environment where the student feels comfortable enough to be open about what it is that THEY wish to learn, and to then work towards accomplishing those goals at a pace that’s congruent with the students comfort-zone.
My teaching method would be to first ascertain the level and experience of the pupil and to discover what each individual pupil wishes to achieve with their guitar playing and also if they wished to learn or improve upon any music theory which they had
I like to teach based on what your goal is. If you're only interested in playing your favorite songs, go ahead. We can also focus on creating your own compositions or simply understand the theory to know what is happening.
I base my guitar teaching on learning the "blueprint" of the instrument. It is wonderful to learn your favorite songs, but, if you really want to get something fulfilling out of any instrument, you need to know how music works, and how to apply it to your instrument.
My teaching method is to build lessons around each student’s musical interests. I like to split the lesson in two, one half we work with sight reading and rhythms, the other half we work on songs of the student’s choice.
My teaching methodology is based on breaking up the concept into understandable stuff and then teaching it to students with passion.
Depending on level I can help from the initial strumming and the basic open chords to blues/rock in the styles of hendrix, page etc. Anyone can learn guitar and im here to help with that daunting task of initially learning to play.
I am very passionate about music and the theory that encompasses it, I love teaching. I can teach any genre and I would be happy to teach you anything you wanted to learn. I have a very broad understanding of a music which helps me to get a feel for the different musical directions that all my students are wanting to go in.
My method of teaching is very clear and interesting i teach 5 to 12 class students and i am happy to say that my students takes this knowledge from me.i do my best for my students and there bright future.
Experience with students of different ages (children, adolescents, adults and the elderly). Each student presents different facilities, difficulties and musical styles. I personalize my classes to serve the students in a unique way. I lecture the theory with the practice based on a repertoire of songs assembled by the student himself.
I form my lesson plans based on each student's interests and goals. I can work with songwriters who want to improve their playing and writing skills on the guitar, and I also work with students who want to learn about "lead guitar" and improvising on the guitar.
