I'm a student so I offer low price lessons. My teaching method will be varied depending on what you prefer (whether you learn just for fun or you want to play professionally). I can teach at your place or online (though teaching in person would be much more effective).
My teaching method is teaching the person the basics in the beginning then letting that person develop his skills through practice. No rush is needed when wanting to learn something. The person learns at his own pace and then each time one level is achieved, I move on to the next level.
The lessons are structured to accomodate the individual needs and direction of each student . A plan is made to help each student achieve their goals as effectively as possible, be it live perfromance, audition preparation or basic skill and technique development. I recommend a focus on fundamentals to create a foundation for development.
Hi! My name is Liv and I have a passion for music! I attended a music industry school and am now studying to be a music teacher. I have previously taught children singing, guitar (classical, accoustic, bass) and piano.
The way you want to play guitar, and the kind of music you are used to listen to will define the structure of the lessons. Obviously you won't be able to play like a rock star the first time and without any guitar bases. That is why I suggest a standard lesson structure: - Basic advice: how to hold the guitar; tune the guitare; change the strings, which position for the fingers ...
Think of me like Yoda, but taller and less green. I teach music because I love music, and I want to be able to share that with people! My methods of teaching differ based upon the person, their age, and their experience with music. I want students who are eager to learn an instrument or how to read music. I'm not looking for students who are being forced into taking lessons.
My teaching methods vary from student to student. I understand the importance of listening skills and empathy when teaching and interacting with the students. I strive to be a clear communicator. I strive to make the learning process to be engaging & fun with activities and getting the student to participate in the lesson, instead of being a passive observer.
A self-taught musician, I have been playing in bands for close to 10 years. I excelled in practical music class through high school, and obtained a Certificate 3 in Music at TAFE.
My method of teaching is to help my students understand more about music and how the instrument can really be the best addition to any band setting such as wedding gigs, acoustic pub/bar gigs or even live music events. It isn't hard to learn how to play as long as there is passion, I can guide you towards the right path.
Unlike most tutors I have interacted with, my key approach to tutoring any student is to make sure that they are having fun. Progress and improvement is always a given key objective, but sometime the fun in just learning and playing an instrument can be lost.
I love teaching from foundation to top. Try to catch something that student love and take their attention by them. I love to link subjects together and I believe It works well. Students love to solve problem with the things that they newly got. So I want to give examples from real life experiences.
Your first lesson will include getting to know each other, I'd like to know what kind of music you are in to, what styles you like, what your goal at the end of this is, because I want to get you to where you want to be. We will go through the lesson plan and make sure you are happy and comfortable with anything.
My approach to guitar and music is hands on. I focus on the physical playing of the instrument first, with an introduction to Tabulature (TAB) we learn basic riffs and warm ups to get our finger dexterity up. Once we are more comfortable with our instrument I introduce chord fingerings and touch on some music theory.

I teach in a very simplistic way where my student understands every single step am teaching them. I also provide my very own experience and advice which might make the student feel more connected. I provide resources on what I teach so student and remember what I taught after we are done with the lesson.

I work on building students' basic skills and extend their exposure of a wide range of listening and performance activities. Goals are set in each area of the lessons e.g. Working up to performance. Active participation of students in the lesson process is encouraged. Technology is developed as a powerful learning tool.
Lessons tailored for where a student begins. Can start by teaching basic chords, and fundamentals like; names of the strings, parts of the guitar, tuning your instrument. Can then begin to expand on jazz chord structures and lead playing in blues of jazz styles. Speciality is equipping students to sing and play.
my method depends on what they would like to learn, if they would see themselves making a career out of it or a hobby. the lesson structure will depend on what level they are at and what exactly they would like to achieve.
My teaching method is based on my experience and experience on what my friends have found hard on guitar and to simplify those hard steps. I am patient and will slowly wait for you to get it right and will use positive encouragement.
I focus on the needs of the student. Every student is different and will require a different method to grasp the instrument. There is no one size fits all, and I hope that I can make the experience easy to digest and enjoyable to attend.
Over the past 14 years I’ve spent my time performing and writing in bands including The Getaway Plan and The Amity Affliction. I’ve been lucky enough to perform all around Australia, America, Europe and the UK, playing venues ranging from the Brixton Academy in London to Rod Laver Arena here in Melbourne.
We agree on a goal. What is it you want to be? Then we design the road map together. We then execute based on timelines and consistent practice and check ups as we build your technique and confidence. Until we both agree that we hit the goal.
My method is to bring emotions out regardless of what emotion that is and turn that into an audible expression, and how my experience can assist with that process. I base my classes on expressing yourself, being yourself, and inspiring to create.
I use set material, we practice with a warm up before grinding out the hard stuff and try to have fun with sound at the end. We can learn your favourite songs, cover different genre's, or learn to make your own style.

I teach through music theory and the breaking down of individuals aspired song learning into bite-sized pieces for one comfort in learning to play the guitar. I come with chord knowledge and a recommendation of songs to start with, but if an individual wishes to learn any specific songs I can prepare and work on that song with them in the following lesson.
