Learning a language is immersion. It's asking yourself what you want to be able to say. It's finding the courage to make mistakes and still try again. It's love. It's the vibe of it. I've worked with several people wanting to learn a language for several years already and I enjoy accompanying you on your way of being able to talk freely without any blockades.
Since most students so far want to learn the language properly, I try to establish a good base in grammar. I will explain the grammar with examples and exercises in the student's language level. Vocabulary is incorporated in texts and/or exercises (written with gaps, pictures to describe verbally). I try that each lesson contains repetition, grammar, vocabulary, conversation.
First I will make myself familiar with the level and goals of my student and will from then on create lesson plans for each lesson. It is very important for me to figure out the learning method that most efficient and fun for my students.
My teaching philosophy is that I want you to have fun learning German or French! I believe that for all language learning, a strong grammatical base is essential - But besides grammar, I like teaching a deeper understanding of how languages and their cultural background work.
My teaching methology is: speaking. BEsides of fun and trying to talk, I likely use books. These helps to find a red line, and learn step by step. I almost try, that there are no other language in the lessons. Only the language you want to lean.
My teaching lessons are build on using the new language as much as possible. Speaking is the main part but writing down sentences and word constructions is important too. I want my students to understand how the language works and how to use it in their daily lives. I'm not a big fan of rote learning which might slow down the progress a bit, but at least my students learn the language probably.
My students are always active and never feel bored. I vary the teaching methods and customize them according to my students learning types and special needs. Also laughing and a personal supporting and motivating approach make my students feel good and well understood.
As the most experience I made was working with disabled students, there is nothing more important than taking time to find out where a student is coming from. The first step should be analyzing where a student come from, where his best skills are at to improve those.
Yes, I won't lie to you: learning a new language is unfortunately connected with a bit of work. But as with all things in life: wanting it is the first and most important step and you are here for a reason. I'll be there to teach you the basics in grammar, sentence construction and pronunciation, so you can take your first wobbly steps.
My teaching methods depend heavily on what the person needs help for. I had students that came up to me and wanted help with their homework, others had issues with pronunciation. I am not a big fan of doing the homework for somebody because the client will not learn anything, I am rather looking over your shoulder and pointing out mistakes.
As a former student of languages, I know how hard learning another language can be! My lessons aim to help each student achieve their language goals. Possible lessons include: - Grammar and vocabulary. - Writing fluency. - Increasing reading comprehension. I understand that no two students are alike and aim to assist each student individually.
Professional teaching using German language books levels A1 to C1 or tailored lessons depending on the needs of my student(s). Always having fun during my lessons as this is important to me and for sure can teach you lots about the German culture.
You going overseas and like to be prepared for your life on the other side of the world? Or you learn German in school and like to deepen your knowledge? Of course, grammar and vocabulary are essential but I believe, the easiest way to learn a new language is by talking and examples out of our all day life.
My teaching is very communicative and cooperative. The greatest joy for me is seeing someone learning something new. I am very precise in pronunciation especially in foreign languages. A very hard task was learning some French from a native French speaker or learning Swedish vowel pronunciation.
Personally, I experienced it to be most useful to interact in casual face-to-face conversations with no pressure or prefabricated tests or learning material, as this way is the closest you can get to everyday interactions. However, I am working for you and with you, so I am open to any suggestions regarding your individual vision and conception.
I have a holistic approach to teaching. For example, learning Maths skills can be helped by having good Literacy skills -- A good understanding of Science can benefit from a good understanding of History, and so on. Helping students to see these connections is vital.
My main teaching methodology, regarding teaching launguage, is use of the Launguage immersion technique, in which you attempt to teach the target launguage in that launguage with use of as little of the students mothertounge as possible.

As I said this is more of a buddy/mentor offer to keep you focused and on track on a weekly or so basis practicing your conversation or learning some new vocabulary. If you have something specific to study or learn feel free to drop me a line and we see what can be worked out.
Learn to communicate quickly, don't get upset when making mistakes and do not get deterred by grammar, which is only ONE part of a language. Enjoy talking in German and see how it opens up a different culture, customs and ideas.
My teaching method is to work with the student to find problems and difficult areas to work on rather than merely pouring over countless exercises.
My teaching method is to have fun while learning with for example games, songs or simple books to learn the basics of the language and then increase the level from there slowly. I love teaching others what I know and have great patience so no need to worry to know any words when we start.
I believe I'm a friendly, approachable person and I always have a smile on my face. I have no doubt that I can make learning German as simple as possible as I already have experience teaching it to toddlers/young children.
My teaching begins with ascertaining the needs of my students. Once these have been established I will present a range of activities within a chosen topic to work on the areas of focus, such as speaking, sentence construction, reading comprehension and so on.
Hi! I have a keen interest in languages and am passionate about encouraging others to take up learning a second language. Hallo und wilkommen! Hello and welcome! (See how similar English and German words can be? Almost makes you think learning German would be easy, but no). Fortunately, I've majored in German and am here to help you achieve mastery of all those long words, three genders, and four grammatical cases (and get better grades, let's be real here).
I love helping students and assisting them in the best possible way. I adapt my teaching method to the student's needs and difficulties. I'm very patient and I think that every student is unique. I teach foreign languages in a practical and interactive way.
Leaning a foreign language is based on three different types of component: 1: Vocabulary. 2: Grammar. 3: Listening and writing comprehensions. I introduce my students to each of them and try to combine those towards the end of my lessons. Advanced students may be taught in german flowers of speech and the culture, in case they are interested in doing so.
I approach topic by working hard and efficiently whilst always having fun. Concentration is key but the atmosphere should always be relaxed and enjoyable. Teaching a language is not only about being able to write it but more importantly having oral skills. That’s why the focus of my teaching is on communication skills.
