First I am teaching the theory or the concept then I will explain the practical applications and realistic examples which students can use to memorize the theory/concept easily. According to my point of view, the most important part is practicing questions. There will be a series of questions on different complexity levels which students have to answer by themselves with the guidance of me.
I am a PhD (Civil Engineering) candidate at the University of Wollongong and have a passion for research and teaching. My methodology for teaching has always been interactive and guiding the students to grasp the concept rather than mere cramming. Further, helping the individual with the practical application of the theory in real world problems.
I like to teach students from primary to high school and like to take classes either after 5.30pm during schooldays and anytime during weekends.
My teaching methodology is making a storytelling everything. You do not have to make it very theorical for having it in mind. We humans tend to associate our knowledge with the daily happenings, so this needs to be both theorical and practical. I show you how this works, and later, it's your turn.
I decided to study science and communication because I love to get people excited about science. It may seem scary sometimes but with a couple of diagrams and well placed analogies I find that even the most complex of concepts can be understood.
Depending on what stage the student is at will depend on my teaching method. If the student understands all the content then I will source questions for the student to complete and challenge their understanding of maths. By extending the students understanding of the concepts of maths, they will achieve a high mark.
I have graduated as an Electrical Engineer from the University of Wollongong. I would like to play the role of a close friend to help students to solve and overcome barriers. In my teaching philosophy, relating the theories to real-life examples can engage students to solve the problems more effectively.
In order to teach something effectively, you yourself must know the content wholeheartedly. Being able to break down complex processes into simple terms which people can understand. That is my approach to teaching, first I make sure I completely understand what I am teaching, then think of ways to break down any complicated concepts into easy to understand steps.
Hi guys, I am a science enthusiastic person studying Bachelor of Physics at the University of Wollongong.I have a dream of making math and physics enjoyable and simple to kids. This, I believe, can happen through real-life demonstrations and break down of subjects. My lessons are aimed towards kids studying in high school.
Teaching with fun! 1 trial session is available. School methodology will be followed and if there is any teaching preference by students then I am happy to use that way. Individual or group teaching anything is convenient.
my teaching method is giving easy examples to make the questions easy to understand and force students to solve everything by thinking and spending more time on questions. Also, asking questions in class to make sure that all students are listening carefully.
my lessons are for all the students even if someone didn't studied maths properly till grade 6. i believe in teaching the concept of topic we are doing and how can we use it later. everything we study has a reason behind it once we get that it becomes more interesting.
I approach this topic with the preface that improvement takes work, you won't magically become a mathematician. It requires practice and engagement along with moving past the fear of making mistakes. I encourage risk taking with the student's learning and developing problem solving skills for when it doesn't work out.
My teaching method is incorporating student autonomy with a top down flow of information approach. Peer learning and internal motivation is encouraged. Classes will be based on mutual respect and hard work. Persistence and patience is key, and I believe in keeping on pushing forward.
My teaching methods can vary depending on your needs. However, I believe the best approach to the HSC is completing practise papers and this is the only approach to have shown measurable results! I like to focus on exam preparation and methods as well as the concepts behind what is being asked.
In generally I do not give notes without proper explaining about the materials. Now I live here in Wollongong NSW 2500. I have experienced with Sri Lankan Education system and I taught in Sinhalese. However, I have courage to manage to mentor primary school students.
My lesson structure follows a hands-on approach where the student is in control of their learning. I utilise student interests and strengths to communicate new ideas and concepts. My lessons revolve around curriculum and syllabus outcomes whilst remaining engaging and authentic experiences.
My teaching method depends mainly on the student's capacity and interest and age. It is always 2-way communication instead of typical Pour-Down method. The student is made feel interested by some informal discussion, and linking between study material to his/her interested. This motivates the student to be self-educating, and self-practicing even without my presence.
My teaching method is very simple. first, I explain the logic so the students can connect the dots and the basics of the concept become clear to them. After which I create a formula sheet and practice solving problems of different types in order to learn how to use the concepts learned.
Currently, I am studying master of engineering in material engineering and I have graduated in bachelor of technology in chemical engineering with first class with distinction. I can handle two students at a time. giving fully attention to both. My lessons depends on their academics.
Method should change according to the student's tendencies. I like to observe the student and teach according to their learning patterns. However what really teaches a person is their own experience which is why solving questions and analyzing the points student struggles are always essential after the topic is discussed.
I would say practice and repetition are essential to mastering Mathematics, and the basics and fundamentals of maths are often overlooked in Years 11-12 as it becomes expected knowledge.
I will first look at the students current course work, and will make a specialized lesson plan to help them succeed. Practice is the most important thing to do when struggling with such an abstract subject as math, so I will make sure my students drill the topics that they have the most difficulty with.
My teaching method is to give a brief overview of the topic and demonstrate some examples. This is followed by time for the student to practice themselves and come up with questions for challenges they faced as I believe the best way to learn is by doing and making mistakes.
As a current university student, it was not too long ago that I was completing high school myself. This allows me to have increased knowledge of how students in this position think and act. I believe the best way to learn is through questions and this will be the majority of any of my lessons.
My teachings method is to make student understand the topic or equations in most logical way. I have faced same scenarios as student and would like to help other students to face these challenges with ease. I am friendly and understanding.
My teaching methodology is objective-based and student-centered. I like to start my lesson with the clear aims and then I keep the students engaged to show them how we are achieving each objective while progressing through the lesson. I prefer continuous involvement of the students and always welcome their questions.
I work on the basics of the students before moving ahead. I believe as soon as your basics are not clear you can't enjoy and learn properly. Besides covering the basics i lay emphasis on finishing the work within the stipulated time.
I teach according to the students needs. If a student is struggling to understand some concept, I prioritize working on that subject until they can excel at it! That way I can ensure the student not only understands the concept, but they can continue to carry the mentality and work ethic of working harder rather than simply giving up .
I believe in an individualistic approach to my teaching as I believe all students learn differently. I like to get to know the child and how they like to learn to ensure they get the most out of my lessons. Every child has the potential to do well and love learning and I believe my interpersonal skills and my creativity can help in developing an approach that is specific to the individual.
