I am very enthusiastic, friendly and humorous. I really love working with primary school students because they are so curious about everything and I absolutely love that attitude when it comes to learning new things. When it comes to tutoring my friends, I always find out what they don't understand and need help on. I then teach them that topic to improve their understanding.
Depending on the age and grade of my students, I match my lessons towards their abilities. For primary school students, a choice between 30 minutes or 1 hour lessons are given and I try to make them fun and interactive. For high school students, out-of-lesson support for assignments and exams are given as well as a 1-2 hour lesson per week.
An UQ MBA student from India, highly knowledgeable and well trained in Maths, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and statistics. Also mastered in Quantitative analysis and logical reasoning. Proficient in English language. Well disciplined in behaviour and no non-sence guy. Yet quite friendly and honest.
I am a friendly individual who has a genuine interest in the field of Mathematics. I base my teaching of the needs of the student in what they are learning and/or need to know for assignments and exams, as well as the syllabus and subject rubric for the course.
I try to change my method of teaching according to student's needs. Generally, I prefer to involve the student in the subject, by trying to let them explain what they understand about it. If they have an exercise to do, I want them to be able to do it by themselves at the end.
My approach to most lessons is a participatory approach where tasks are given to pupils according to their abilities. A discussion will be done and individual remedial exercises are also given to reinforce the concept. Group work and individual assignments also forms part of my motivating and competitive teaching approach.
I base my class on different kings of methodoogy depend on person who I am going to teach, for me it is very important that people fell confortable and the most important they understand every topic, I used to like solving problems.
Kindy- High School level, specialising in Primary age. My lessons are fun, focused and geared towards the understanding of the specific student. I have many years of experience in understanding a barrier to learning and I will be able to spot and solve these with my creative teaching methods.
I will ask you what you are stuck on, and then we'll work on that! If you have a specific question, problem you need help with, or just a general concept you need help understanding- we'll work together so that you make the progress you need, to get the results you want.
Hi there! My name is Delaney, I am a 22 year old female tutor in Brisbane. My specialty is Mathematics B but I am capable of tutoring other Maths, the Sciences and providing general assignment support in all fields. I wholeheartedly believe that one-on-one tutoring and learning socially with another person makes a huge difference to students’attitudes and enjoyment of learning.
My philosophy is that learning and playing are synonyms of each other. Therefore I am always eager to create a light working atmorsphere and involve hobbies of my students into the lessons to make the subjects more interesting. If my student for example likes to play rugby, I am going to integrate examples with which the student can identify him- or herself.
I believe in teaching students by giving them real life examples and mentoring them till they have good knowledge of the subject.I try to ensure that they find comfort in the subject and learn whatever is taught. Maths being my favourite subject, I specialise in teaching the same.

I am a QUT electrical engineering honours student. I love working in computer vision and inspiring young minds to choose careers in STEM. I am on this site to gain experience for my life goal of retiring as a high school math teacher. My teaching methodology is constantly evolving and depends on the needs of the student. My priorities with the student are: 1.
I wish to make students love maths and enjoy the logical techniques of problem-solving in maths. I let students practice and improve their critical thinking abilities to achieve good grades in maths, physics, engineering and chemistry.
Myself as a student from the past 25yrs and still being one, I personally feel that each and every student should be taught with a method that would suit him the better rather following few fixed methodologies/approaches.
The most important thing for me is the learning of my students, that is why I have different methodologies in my class, I can't define a single method if all my students are different. The teacher has to find the best way to teach each student.
I have a quick chat to assess your strengths and weaknesses. I then proceed to listen what you understand and what you don't, give you an explanation and then jump to do some exercises at your own pace.
I teach with passion and patience. I understand that no two individuals are the same when it comes to learning even the same subject. Therefore, I adapt my teaching approach to ensure that my students will not only be prepared for their exams but also have gained the understanding necessary for their future studies.
My teaching method is approaching to the difficult problems step by step through examples. I like to teach the students while showing them the practical necessity of mathematics giving day today examples. I want to create students who love to face challenges.
Based on the Text book as well as past papers
I'm an experienced Math tutor. I can really bond with students from 11-17-years old. I graduated from Mechanical Engineering and I've been tutoring students since I was a student. I'm not from Australia but don't worry, I was also an English teacher (TEFL) with international experience (The Netherlands and USA). I can teach all levels, from beginners to advanced.
I approach tutoring with flexibility. By learning the methods that work best for each student, I believe I can more effectively tailor my tutoring to each individuals needs. I pride myself on being a patient and motivating tutor, able to work students through the potential stresses of assessments.
Maths is about learning and applying - not memorising. Not only can I provide the necessary knowledge, I focus on developing problem solving abilities, critical thinking and alternate approaches to a broad range of mathematical topics.
Presenting concepts in a friendly an familiar form, I try to identify foundation elements that need to be worked on in order to build on a students understanding of a subject instead of the typical 'practice makes perfect' approach adopted by most.
I always approach complex theory in any subject using simple examples in day to day life. This enables students to better remember the concepts and apply them practically. I understand how tedious a subject like Math can be and always try to use visual aids, anecdotes, and other tools to keep the lesson interesting.
As long as you are willing to learn, I am willing to teach. I encourage students to ask as much questions as possible, because even by asking ridiculous questions will clear your doubts than when you chose not to. If you do not ask enough, I will instead, to make sure that you have a stable foundation of whatever knowledge I have delivered.
I teach the building blocks of math, such as number sense and operational skills, as well as boost students ability to think about problems. I motivate students to try and teach them to persevere when problems are challenging. I always begin a new lesson with a reminder of last, this help students make sense of concepts, provide them connections to the real world.
My teaching methods are 1) based on psychological principles 2) explanatory procedure 3) creates creativity and originality power 4) develops analytic and reasoning power.
