As someone who's fluent in two languages (English and Mandarin) and have been studying another two for six years (Latin and French), I adore languages. At the same time, I have struggled through HSC French and Latin. Having survived them, I can safely say I've gained some solid study tips and exam techniques, which are often more important than simply memorizing vocabulary for HSC.
Firstly, I always offer my first session FREE as I would like to understand your expectations and how I can assist you to reach your goals.

I think learning a language is all about practicing, so I will mainly try to engage a discussion on a new subject to introduce new vocabulary and grammar rules each session. However, I will adapt to the student needs, so I can introduce written exercices if necessary.
I like to gauge where someone is already at, asses areas needing improvement as well as desired outcomes, and build a feasible language-learning plan! I like to keep things fun and relevant, and especially encourage verbal expression and conversation.
I teach using different media, videos, texts, games, discussions, exercises, practice of past exams. STudents learn how to text in French, how to hold a phone conversation, how to write a letter, an email and the list goes on. French culture goes hand in hand with the learning of the language and that is where being a native is so valuable.
My teaching method is concentraded on student’s aspirations. I emphasise discussion as well as listening. The student has to feel confortable and confident. The knowledge of vocabulary appears to me as very important to master a foreign language.
My teaching method is based on a great communication. The exchange is the best way to learn about every topics (people, culture and others fields). I will give you exercises to do for you to improve quickly.
I adapt every lesson to the student's needs : the first lesson usually consists in talking about what the student wants to achieve, what his current level in French is and what are the teaching methods they like the most.
We focus on your needs and with that I create a specific program for you. We speak, write, do some phonetic to be comfortable with the sounds you have trouble to say. I use different documents. I can make some tests if you need.
