I am a native French Language tutor from Nice, teaching for the past 30 years in London, with a wide experience in teaching at all levels to cater for various linguistic requirements. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach French language with some emphasis on French culture, art and history. - Tell me about your qualifications.
I am enthusiastic, highly qualified and totally professional. Teaching is my passion, and enabling others to benefit from my skills is my aim in life. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach music - piano, flute, clarinet, sax, singing, theory (100% pass rate at gr 5!), composition, aural and general musicianship.
I am currently studying communication at the University of Liege and I offer remedial classes in French (A1, A2, B1, B2), English (A1, A2, B1, B2) and Romanian (A, B, C) adapted to the needs of the pupils. I will emphasis on speech, pragmatics and written expression while taking in account theoretical explanations and grammatical rules. The approach will be communicative and enthusiastic.
My mother tongue is French and I studied in the French school. I give French language classes, at any level, in the Lisbon area. I can help Portuguese or foreigners learn French, either to learn the basics, to improve grammar, or to deepen a bit more the comprehension in writing or speaking. I already have some experience in "teaching", but I am always learning, to improve my teaching method.
The success of a course is none other than the ability to understand the student's shortcomings, understanding each one specifically allows for better profitability for your course preparation. I rely on the actional approach for targeted and fun teaching. Progress quickly, efficiently and intelligently.
I adapt my tutoring to my audience. You cannot teach preschoolers the same way you teach GCSEs. For young children, it needs to be fun and active so I use puppets, games, craft and we sing and dance. For pupils getting ready for GCSE or A-levels, I stick to the book and there is a lot a "rehearsal" for the big day, focusing on getting a good score.
I associate every concept with Hindi or English so that remembering and understanding French becomes easy. I give a lot of examples and make the student practice the grammar. The material I use is followed by many professional french teachers.
I have a structured teaching method to cover all aspects of language in a way that is still flexible depending on the students strength
First things first, I'll start by getting to know you. Who are you? Who are you? What motivates you? What is your basic level? What do you want? Then I'll adapt the working sessions step by step according to your feelings, the difficulties identified and the results obtained. I will show you how to optimize your results with all available resources, whether material or computer.
My usual methods is to firstly assess the level of my student, and adapt the lessons to his actual and current needs and level.
Hello you ! Yes, you ! Lost in an ocean of teachers ! I will adapt my methodology to your objectives, your needs and your learning profile that the first course will allow me to define. In general, I treat all the skills that you'll need to acquired alternately. For example, in the same course we can do grammar, interaction but also the understanding of authentic documents.
I can understand rapidly if there’s any particular difficulties for anyone trying to learn. I strongly believe that any well identified problem is already a problem almost solved. I can teach 100% in french if that’s wished for, but I don’t mind at all short english explanations if that helps comprehension.
The first thing that I like to know is the level of knowledge of the student later, based on this I will plan the classes which will be relaxed and entertaining with the purpose of motivating and making learning easy and fun.
In order for a language to be taught, I think that the best method is constant oral practice. What matters is to keep the attention of students on what’s fun about French while also giving them the chance to start using the language right away. Using movies, TV shows or easy reads is essential. I usually like to use visual elements as well, colors and flashcards.
Lots of talking and learning based on examples acquisition. In order to produce, you need to induce. Also I tend to let my learners walk by themselves, make mistakes but always watching their backs. I never let anyone down. However the key is the interest and motivation of the student. Everything else should come naturally.
My classes can be fit for all levels and all objectives (learning business French, passing certifications such as the DELF or the DALF, developing oral skills...). I can make classes in English and Japanese, so even if you are beginning to learn French it's fine.
13+/GCSE/A Level/IB French teacher/tutor based in Kensington with over 45 years teaching experience. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach French and English. - Tell me about your qualifications. I have a Phd and a PGCE. - How much do you charge? I charge £50 per hour and a half lesson and provide all resources. - Where do you teach? I teach in and around Kensington and Chelsea.
I change my methodology according the individual needs of my students. I believe that using one technique for all students is not only counterproductive but also that it will not bring about any meaningful change in the student's understanding of the language.
My greatest strength as a French tutor is that I did not begin to learn French until I was 14 years old. Unlike a native speaker who knows French grammar intuitively, I understand what it's like to learn French from scratch. I had an excellent high school French teacher who emphasized grammar.
I completed my degree (BA Hons French and Spanish Studies with Italian) at Lancaster University in 2010. I lived in both Brussels and Bilbao during that time as part of my year abroad, where I studied Law, History and Philosophy. I have always loved travelling and teaching and I worked as a tutor whilst studying at university and decided to become a teacher in my final year.
I am an enthusiastic, professional, creative and highly trained French Language teacher (UK-QTS) offering lessons designated to be effective and stimulating for all types of learners. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach French as a foreign language.
Give French as a foreign language lessons for all levels. Methodology : the learner works through task to acquire the best language and cultural skills of the French language. Preparation for the DELF (Diplôme d'Etude de la langue française) exam.
My teaching methods are adapted to each student, since each person is different and the rhythm of each topic tends to vary depending on the difficulty and depth of the topics. I am 100% flexible and patient. Many techniques can be used.
My name is Desta. Born in Bangkok, I'm British-Eritrean and I've lived in Thailand, Barbados, France, the Ivory Coast, Jordan, Belgium, Brazil, Turkey & The Philippines.
From a British father and a French mother I am completely bilingual English / French. I have over five years of teaching experience of the two languages in Paris and London in particular through agencies such as Bonas McFarlane and Holland Park Tuition. I work on all aspects of language (conversation, grammar, conjugation, reading, essays etc.) and students of all ages and all levels.
I aim to prepare students comprehensively for exams, stimulate creativity and help structure ideas for essay writing, support with comprehension, pronunciation, written work and more generally nurture interest in the culture and language of study.
I'm an ESL and a French teacher with a very wide and long teaching experience. I'm happy to say that my students have always achieved their goals and passed successfully their examinations (GCSE, A level,Baccalaureat or higher levels). Each student remains unique to me and his/her improvement is my priority.
My teaching method is first of all to understand the student's difficulties and needs. Then I check with the student the elements he has already understood. When it's successfully done, I can begin to set up my working methods. In fact, I am very understanding and attentive. My goal is to help the student succeed in what he or she doing.
To ensure that my students do not tune out and lose interest in what I am teaching, I use frequent pauses to ensure you have understood what you have just been explaining. For instance, I ask you to summarise the idea I have just espoused and if I am teaching a group tutorial, I ask students to summarise what they have just learned to each other.
One of the main difficulty with the French language comes from the huge difference between the true pronunciation and the phonetic pronunciation one could deduce from the spelling of the word - ie, in French, a word is not pronunced and written in the same way. My usual method is based on immersion by discussion in the French language in a first time.
