I base my classes on a big oral practice (80%) because I think it is the best way to master a language. The remaining time (20%) is spent on learning grammar rules, vocabulary, conjugation and improving writing skills. The more you practice the better you get.
The nature of the lesson will depend on your level and personal background. So first is to evaluate rapidly your level and your purpose for learning french. Is it for school? For travelling ? For finding a french wife/husband? Then let's start speaking and adjust the lessons...and the most important don't worry about doing some mistakes.
My teaching method is all about teaching according to the student's learning pace and capabilities. Understanding the student's needs is my priority in constructing my tuitions; what they already know, what they want to know and what they expect from the lessons. Then, proper exercises will be given to help improve areas such as vocabulary and grammar.
I base my method on the reading of french newspaper, actuality, and other texts about societal issues, but I am able to adapt considering the hobbies and interests of the students. Focus the lessons on dialog is the best way to immerse in a culture.
Understanding the concept and reason behind the existence of something is a major step towards learning. Nowadays, there are so many things to learn; too many sometimes. However, if the concept is understood, you can much easily relate and make sense of things you don't necessarily know.
Teaching is my passion and I always do my best to teach my students because I just want them to be the perfect. I believe that a bond between a student and teacher matters the most when the student is developing a new skill. So, I take care if the student is comfortable during the studies and I am always available to help them whenever they have issues with there studies.
Brief intro about myself is that am French living in Melbourne for the last 3 year for the completion of my University studies in Architecture. Being meticulous and having an eye for detail, my favourite teaching method would be one on one interaction. Human contact is the best way to learn a language where the interaction between teacher and student is more fluid.
I can help you in different areas such as the pronunciation, the grammar, the writing, the understanding. I try to have a fun way of teaching by using videos or fun texts.

According to your need, your age and your level, you will learn about the French culture, including food, monuments, policies, geography, history, arts (cinema, music, paintings). The topics are huge, and you can speak together about your interest to make your teaching class as nice as possible.
My teaching lessons will be based on a different theme every time, and with this theme we will learn the vocabulary attached to it, the prononciation, and put the different word learn in sentences. I can occasionally have a lesson in the form of game. The first session i will decide with you what area ou want to work on, and do adapted course.
I adjust my methods as much as I can to the individual needs of each student -- I cannot expect everyone to learn the same way. A typical first lesson with me will involve discussing what you already know of French and expanding on it, helping you to build a strong foundation so you can pick up new concepts easily.
I can adapt to every persons expectations. I like starting my class by conversations and come back on some grammar/conjugation rules and practice pronunciation. I'm able to help students to pass French exam or review, work on some lessons viewed during class.

I am generally described as a bubbly, friendly person and would want that to come over in my lessons. I would generally assess the level a student is at with their understanding and speech and go from there, covering vocabulary and oral expression. My main goal while teaching is to ensure a student is confident and comfortable.
My method usually is to pick a theme for the class and then we just work around that and see where it leads us. I like to use french litterature or article related to the chosen theme ! I usually let the student take his own notes that I read afterwards and see what could be improved in his writings.

My school of thought with French is to develop a relaxed and clear atmosphere for the student, and to develop a positive and friendly relationship with them. This method allows the student to learn in a casual manner, and to understand the language as it would be overseas.
