I encourage students to become interested, confident and independent learners who are not afraid to question resources. To achieve these goals, I teach them to communicate well with others, explain and overcome any difficulties they have in the four language skills through providing a wide variety of exercises. I always give in depth truthful, but kind and helpful feedback , when required.
Depending on the skill level of the student I will structure the lesson accordingly. An example of this is with my primary student, we start the lesson reading news articles that are relevant to his work, then move onto topics of conversation and we set and discuss a homework task, outlining what is required and how to move forward. I test his skillset periodically.
I have the most experience with standard academic English and business English, but can help with any aspects of the language that you need help with. In my teaching, I aim to provide my students with the opportunity to practice their English as much as possible in order to fully understand and remember new concepts.
Having a wide experience in teaching, I have honed my teaching skills by experimenting different teaching strategies and methods according to the learner's abilities, learning style, and background. I practice student-centered approach where students develop reciprocity and cooperation within the learning environment and respecting each student's diverse talents and ways of learning.
My teaching methodology is primarily to be online, in which I am happy to create material for the student to complete, then later I will mark and respond with feedback.
My primary teaching methods are Task-Based and Communicative approaches informed by the needs of each learner. I also base many individual lessons on a Genre/Text-based approach, breaking down texts into parts for a better understanding.
My teaching strategies involves using a blend of traditional and technological learning techniques, while taking into consideration the learner types of each student. To me, there are no bad students, only a teacher's approach as per situation is meant to be good or bad.
My lessons are geared to anyone wishing to learn or improve their English! I am able to teach students of all ages, from children to adults. I base my lessons around the individual needs of the students and I am happy to cater to a range of topics. These include: - Conversation practice and fluency. - Written English for work and school - Grammar and Vocabulary.
My lessons are geared towards students with basic English skills. That includes being able to form short, coherent sentences using the three main verb tenses (present, past and future). Lesson structure: 1) Reading 2) Writing 3) Grammar Teaching methods: 1) Cooperative learning. Encourage students of mixed abilities to work together and complete exercises.
My teaching method is based on focusing on areas of student weakness and bringing these, along with all other areas, up to the standard required for IELTS. The first lesson will focus on figuring out your level and show how it can be improved, further lessons will focus on continued improvement to your speaking abilities.
For people wanting to pass their IELTS test, or increase their English language skills: - I find out your goals, for example - the IELTS score you want to reach, skills you need and want to work on, and topics that interest you. - Next look at strategies to improve your language - usually that involves connecting with input and practise opportunities for the language you want to work with.
• No conventional teaching class. • Students will lead the class by thinking and doing. • I am the one to offer students assistance and guidelines to help them progress in learning. • I will not tell students each question's answer, insdead, we think and discover together. • You will not simply learn English in my class.
My lessons always start with where the student is at. What are their goals-both short term and long term. What do they want to achieve and how can we both best achieve it.
I am a warm and friendly person who likes to base my lesson on a student's interest. I am looking to teach University students from outside of Australia who are preparing for intake into Universities here in Melbourne. All lessons would be custom made with a view to helping the student in areas where they need the most assistance.
As far as teaching methods go, I structure my lessons around the needs of the students. I get to know you and how you best learn new information and with this I plan my lessons from a student-centred viewpoint. The more I know about your learning style, the more tailored my lessons will be to the student.
My methodology is to start with what your need and move at your chosen pace.
My teaching method varies depending on the English abilities of the students. I believe in listening to and understanding my students, so that I am better able to help them reach their goals. I often use elements from both synchronous and asynchronous teaching methodologies so that the student is learning when we are having class, and also completing their own research outside of our class.
My teaching method will be tailored to every student's needs and their ability to understand and grasp the concepts of PTE. I will solve sets of questions with you to ensure there is ample amount of practice. I will give pointers on how to answer certain types of tricky questions. Last but not the least, I will give some valuable points which can help you in the exam day.
I base my teaching methodology on the learning style of every student. For young learners, I use visuals and tactile representations for better lesson retention. I give out rewards for outstanding performance to motivate students and keep up according to their pace.
From my whole year of teaching experience, I firmly hold the notion that Teaching is Reducing: you help the students to filter the things that they do not need, to guide them away from what's wrong, and to direct them to what is the right.
My teaching method is very interactive. I make the students completely involved in the topic and make them love English as a language. Being an IELTS 7.
I am an approachable, reassuring and encouraging teacher. I want you to feel confident and successful. You will always feel that you can ask me any questions that are relevant to your learning. I will assist you towards your aims and travel with you on your journey.
I believe effective learning starts with nurturing a genuine curiosity for a subject. Being engaged in a subject and relating it to one's life and existing understanding is fundamental to growth, proficiency and mastery. Building confidence in a field of study comes through practice, however, it is important to learn how to apply what is learnt instead of just memorising.
I choose way of my teaching according to student' s understanding level because every student is different from each other.
My teaching method is largely via Communicative Language Teaching and Grammar Translation Method. Generally, the unique need(s) of the student(s) serve as the benchmark for the method and classes that will be in use. The lessons will be tailored to the need(s) of the students and great attention will be paid to the goal(s) of topic or lessons.
My life experience as a migrant has become the root of a keen interest in diversity and multiculturalism. I believe education to be the key to the future and that we all constantly learn from each other. To approach the subject with a focus on the student's interests, promotes engagement and facilitates building knowledge and skills simultaneously, using audiovisual aids and experiential learning.
My teaching is based on the Australian Curriculum, which sets the consistent national standards, and is easily available online. This is a simple guide to follow and it soon shows where a students strengths and weaknesses lie. It gives a clear guide to success.
My approach to learning is individual-oriented. Depending on the needs of the student and their learning style, I adapt content and delivery for their unique requirements. Lessons will be friendly but packed with information, and I encourage the developing of your own opinions and contributions in class.
As a teacher, I am very flexible with my teaching methods and it will always base on the skills of my learners. I make sure that each of my teaching strategies will fit the type of learners I am teaching.
I teach by blending my personality with my student's needs and curriculum-appropriate methods. I make sure that the student will be comfortable with me so that he or she will learn without feeling bored and pressured. Lessons should me matched with what the school requires but I make sure that I give my own inputs.
