My teaching methods in Reading are as follow: 1. Activate the prior knowledge of my students; 2. Flash/give the Motive Question for that particular passage/story; 3. During reading, referencing questions be given; 4. Connect the story to personal experience.
I cater to students' requirements and really focus on improving weaknesses. I believe in intently listening and advising students with their school work and extending from there by rehearsing, continuously practicing and honing students' writing, listening and speaking skills.
My teaching methodology is based in participation of students. they will be participated in class through experiments, worksheets and group discussion, for group discussion several cluster of students will be prepared and interaction is conducted among themselves. several worksheets prepared by me are uploaded in my blog 'sciencewiththestudents.blogspot.com'.
My teaching methodologies are History (mostly Modern) and English. I have also taught Stage 5 Geography and HSC Society and Culture.
I approach topics by being resourceful, patient, and trying to find the funnest and most involving ways to work with students, while also being stern and didactic.
Focused around what the student needs help with and what works best for them. Calm and understanding tutoring from somebody who has recently completed the HSC.
Student centered based learning and focus on conversational skills for second language speakers. actually and task based learning for international school systems.
My teaching method is tailered to individual and will meet the examination，I encourage feed backs from students and communicate frequently with each other
My teaching methodology begins with identifying what kind of learner my student is, and tailoring my lessons from that point. I keep my sessions engaging and dynamic, using class and outside resources.
My teaching method is creative and resourceful which can adapt to suit the needs of individuals. It is important to recognise that all children learn differently and to tailor teaching to their needs.
I primarily work on fluency through practice. Constant practice is the best approach to learning any new skill, and I provide interesting and engaging ways for students to explore their vocabulary and speaking abilities. My lessons are usually 1.5-2 hours long, where I start with a presentation on any current topic of the student's interest in the style of a news program.
My teaching method is to make you easier to understand and you will be easier to learn and understand all the lessons.
I approach tutoring by taking my students seriously as people with genuine interests, skills and abilities and not simply treating them as children. Lessons are tailored to the students needs and interests, and will involve a variety of mediums, both practical and intellectual, (via hands-on, discussion-based, written, creative, etc), any methods which best assists them.
Confidence is the key to success! the biggest problem for almost every student I have taught has been that they didn't believe in their self! once you trust your judgment you will often find you know more than you think! I am passionate about working with my students to not only increase their knowledge base but to increase their confidence as well.
I tend to take a flexible teaching approach depending on the needs of the student. Coming from both a science and English literature background, I am able to teach students who tend to prefer maths/science subjects to really develop an appreciation for how they can apply their skills to more literary subjects, as well as help students who already acheive high grades in English to really excel.
I have been working independently as a private tutor for High School students since 2011. I assess each student individually, and then cater the lessons to their specific requirements. We focus on assessments, reviews according to unit outline, developing strong essays through textual analysis, and exam techniques that consistently achieve Band 6 results.
I believe the best way to teach is individual to each student and each subject, thus I apply unique lessons and instructions to each student. Although for every applicable subject, practice assessments and exams are fundamental to understanding and applying knowledge, and therefore are common in my lessons (once the skills required are there).
My teaching methodology is student-centred and inquiry-based. I prioritise the student's identity and place them within a context of learning so they can relate and engage with the knowledge. I structure lessons clearly, provide scaffolds and model responses so students can revisit and independently engage further with learning.
My class would be differ from level with focus on building vocabulary and english concepts. For example, for text analysis, students should not only unravel the meaning of a piece of literature but to share emotions with the author and critically consider the word choice.
My teaching methodology is centred around creativity. As someone who had to work extremely hard to be where I am now, I understand that it can take time to figure out a study method that works for you, and I'm dedicated to finding out what that method is for you.
My teaching method depends of the area being explored. For creative writing, a more playful and imaginary approach. Essay writing is more structural, ensuring that all criteria is met within the essay. Reading is very hands on, learning and exploring new words.
my teaching method is what i learn from my school and i will share my leanings to those who wants to learn.
My teaching method is through a range of engaging guided and independent activities comprising worksheets, study guides, and verbal communication.
Hi my name is Eoin and I am an energetic and enthusiastic English tutor. I cater my lessons specifically to the needs of my student and am understanding of the fact that learning how to write and interpret English essay and creative writing questions is a very individual process.
I best teach students who are having difficulty understanding concepts or addressing problems by helping them to grasp the root ideas in problems, and then work with them to tackling them.
First, I talk to the student and get to know his/her weaknesses. I keep everything simple until we can move on to the next level. I also want to have fun while studying. Having fun is the for me the best way to learn.
My teaching method is all about how every individual learns. Empowering anyone and everyone in believing in their ability to continuously improve.
I aim to find the learning techniques which work best for the individual, tailoring each pupils needs accordingly to ensure that they are able to flourish academically.
My name is Britt Lewis and I am a graduate of NIDA and the University of Melbourne. I am passionate about theatre, communication and creative ways to learn and explore reading and storytelling.
