I have a warm, positive attitude towards teaching and I am very approachable. My lessons are easily adaptable to give you the best results and I am able to work and provide feedback timeously to suit your needs. My aim is to ensure positive results and to provide you with the best service possible.
I endeavour to incorporate a variety of teaching approaches into each learning experience so that the range in student abilities and the diversity of learning styles are attended to and learning activities are felt to be both relevant and interesting by students. Participative learning needs to be assisted by direct teaching.
I believe all lessons should be focused around the student and their needs. I'd like to start by identifying exactly what the student is having trouble with. I know that homework can often pile up so I think the best way forward is to begin with basics, to make sure the student understands the area of English they need to work on, so then we can build up to working through homework and assignments.
My teaching method is to start out with a casual meeting to understand what exactly you'd like to focus on learning, where you can have a chance to meet me. My main goal is to work on what you'd like to improve upon, because ultimately I believe your learning is for your own benefit.
I base the course on the purpose of students, for example, if they wish to pass the exam, I will focus on exam techniques. My teaching philosophy is to "teach less, review more". I prefer to teach students how to effectively learn by themselves, and review the content I taught on class through some activities which can motivate them to participate.
Each student is different, and has different ways of learning. I think that the best method of teaching is to understand the dynamic nature of each student and tailor the method to his/her preferred methods. Some like to be challenged, while others like to have their personal space. I am always open to feedback and to altering my ways.
Even though I eventually would help my fellow peers to gain a strong foundation of grammar, however, my main focus is to get them to enjoy learning English and gain confidence in the process of doing so. It is only by having confidence in themselves and not afraid of making mistakes, then only they will be able to rapidly progress.
No matter what type of class (grammar focus, vocabulary focus etc) I incorporate conversation as much as I can, as communication is the primary goal of learning a language. Each lesson I will make notes and send a feedback sheet to my students afterwards.
I base my lessons on real life and engaging topics which are of interest to the students after we discuss what interests them. We don't move on until we have learned the English skills embedded in the topic. We use songs and games when possible to keep the lessons interesting.
I always start the English Classes from the basic because the strong root can create the strong branches of plant so the basic grammar and vocabulary knowledge are the intrinsic segments of English. I always use the Oxford level books and notes.
My teaching method varies from student to student. Well, I do believe that every student has strengths and weaknesses. So, as a tutor it is important to work on the weaker areas by providing the customized study programs based on individual needs. This will result in overall development of the students.
My teaching method is based on patience and teaching at the pace suitable for the individual student. I have been doing this in a University setting for over 20 years. I have been employed to edit and proofread work from PhD students, and have worked with groups of students to help them with English expression.
From my own educational experience I understand how great an impact a nurturing influence can have. As such, classes are structured to provide some reassuring consistency alongside healthy doses of more relaxed and engaging activity. Ample room should be allowed for exploration and experimentation in building their skills.
I believe the first thing any student needs to think about when learning a new language is; what are my goals and objectives, what kind of things do I want/need to express in my new language? Once a student reaches a level of basic competency, they should be given the opportunity to learn what they need to know in order to achieve their own personal goals and objectives.
Languages are a lot harder to learn when you don't enjoy it. So, I like to keep it fun and adapt it to YOUR needs. What do you want from learning English? Why are you studying? What are your goals? Where do you want to be in the future? By knowing the students' needs, and how they like to learn, we can make lessons interesting and productive.
My teaching methods include basic grammar lessons for English as well as starting from basic for Maths also. I like to teach by providing examples from daily life for Maths. For English, if I would need to start from very basic, I prefer to start with phonics and spellings.
Everybody learns differently and I believe if a student isn't learning then the teacher isn't educating that particular student in the most beneficial way. I like to make lessons enjoyable, planning different sentences structures and grammar points around students hobbies.
My Teaching strategy is based on an initial English competency assessment (through general introduction and Q. and A.). Lessons will focus on student goals and cover; vocabulary, fluency, grammar, pronunciation, role playing,. reading and writing comprehension.
My classes in the past have been primarily geared towards Pre-Level 1, Level 1 and Lev 2. I make extensive use of LEM Phonics to help students understand the distinctions/patterns found in the English language. I encourage students to speak what they know and try and build from their current competency.
The lessons will be designed according to the student's English level and will make them feel interesting and enjoyable while studying. Absolutely respect what students want to put their attention on and enhance their skills such as vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, ect,.
My teaching approach is simple but effective. I believe in independence, control and active engagement. Meanwhile, my teaching methodology is based on providing appropriate assessment and feedback which is absolutely essential. Lesson structure is from basic to depth including explanations and clarification of doubts.
I am an eclectic teacher that uses a multifaceted approach to language learning. The focus is on the four macro skills using a variety of teaching strategies and methods. Each method has its place depending on students’ learning needs and the learning task at hand.
I graduated with a double major in english and italian at the University of Tasmania in 2017. My lessons have a duration of one hour. I start the lesson by writing notes and giving an explanation with the use of a whiteboard. I then proceed to a fun activity or work sheet.
My teaching method is to find out what the student needs to do to achieve their goals and take it from there. For example one of my students has needed help with the theory of driving so I made some resources that helped the student understand the rules and they got their license first go.
My teaching methodology is following how I am trained from TESOL courses. Prepare document and materials that suitable for students ability. Offering variety ways to let students learn. As well as considering different types of students, make sure they get suitable ways to learn.
My priority in teaching is to understand my learner's needs and goals, and to design my teaching program around these. There is no single methodology that suits all students.
I like to keep lessons fun, but still educational. I like to use methods such as videos, quizzes and creative methods to keep my students both happy and engaged. I believe keeping lessons interesting is the key to a happy student.
The most important aspect of teaching, in my eyes, is that you )the educator) develops a strong rapport with the student. My lesson/tutoring will focus largely on the particular topics that the student is currently struggling with or would like assistance to further improve their abilities.
My lessons are interesting, dynamic, engaging and set at the students level. I will endeavour to make my lesson to fit exactly what the student requires and needs in improving their English language. I am passionate about giving my students an excellent knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the English language. It will be specific for each of my students needs and desires.
