A lot of students come to me as they don’t understand what the lecturer means or they feel the content has been rushed through in the lecture or tutorial. Sometimes they have tried to prove the mathematics but didn’t do mathematics advanced at school and are therefore lacking in their calculus knowledge. Calculus is required in most Commerce/Economics courses.
I love to interact with student as much as possible and let the think creatively and bring some new ideas.I like to teach enthusiastic and curious student with friendly attitude.I have great vision of teaching in simple and easiest way so that each and every student can understand any topics or courses theoretically as well as practically.
I enjoy the Flipped Classroom Model basically involving encouraging students to prepare for the lesson before class. Thus, the class becomes a dynamic environment in which students elaborate on what they have already studied. Students prepare a topic at home so that the class the next day can be devoted to answering any questions they have about the topic.
I have a deep passion for making real differences in the lives of my students and their learning journey through laser-focused instruction, my watchful eye and customised expertise to benefit students directly and witness their sparks of comprehension; equipping them with critical study skills to become independent lovers of learning.
My class in usually fun and entertaining, specifically the examples! I like to take small batches and make sure every student gets my individual attention. You're welcome to ask silly questions regarding the subject too, cause I believe that's better rather than making silly mistakes in your exams! You can expect a quiz soon after completion of every topic or two.
I am very passionate about Economics and Mathematics. Through using real life problems, I try to instil that passion for learning by making theories relatable to practical situations. Also, I start with the necessary theory of the chapter and simultaneously looking at the application problems to give a 360 degree understanding of the subject.
Business activity is a feature of everyone’s life. Throughout the world people engage in a web of business activities to design, produce, market, deliver and support a range of goods and services. In addition, investors, consumers and employees depend on the business sector for much of their quality of life.
I have been acting as a resource person for Center for Banking Studies of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka from 2013 on the programs of Currency Management, Best Practices for Bank Tellers and Security Features of Genuine Sri Lankan Currency Notes and Identification of Counterfeit Currency Notes organized for Foreign Central Banks, Commercial Banks, and Cash handlers.
I teach any theoretical commerce subject to any level of student including school, university, graduate to obtain higher result. I approach topic by simple examples in order to understand easily and explain everything clearly. Students can clarify things by asking questions.
In my lessons, I tend to go over the topic with student first, not straight into exercise-and-answers. I believe the review is necessary in several ways. It helps smooth the important concepts, gives us a chance link the current topic with previous learnt concepts, and also leads us to pain points we should focus on.
My students flourish when i tutor in one to one teaching methodology. I am an honest and humble person and treat my students with high regard and love and passion. My lessons are focused on how a student can learn to tackle problems related with accounts and management and how to make learning fun.
My teaching method is simple, straight forward, interactive and attractive to students. I speak in a very easy-going and understandable manner so that my students can always follow and take knowledge without resistance. What I believe the most is that teachers need to be students' genuine friends.
For Macro economics, we would start from scratch and basically see the behaviour of each variable separately and then compare them together and see the overall changes to a model as the relationship between variables change.
Firstly, I prefer to understand what and how much do the students know about the tutoring subject. Then, I will carry out the lesson by teaching them the knowledge they ought to know by then and followed by the upcoming new knowledge. Of course, homework for those practical subjects such as Math to further consolidate and a check for me if they understood my lessons.
Economics shouldn't be a hard topic to understand. Therefore, I will focus on introducing the foundations of economics using real life examples before moving on to exam questions to help students improve. The structure of the lesson is flexible. I also think that analyzing movies and videos is a good method to grasp economic concept.
My teaching method comprises of easy and simple studying techniques which helps the students to grasp the subject knowledge more effectively, which will build up the motivation levels to achieve and pursue further knowledge.
My teaching moto is to make my students say at the end of the semester that they love economics. I try to teach my students with more of the examples and less of theories to make them understand better.
I do not like when the teacher just give the questions without providing the answer or takes so many hours to answer it. in my opinion, I prefer to teach my class with questions and answers at the end. I will give them some time to try to answer the questions and I will give the full answer when the class is over. so the students will have time to evaluate the questions with the answer.
My teaching approach is very methodical. I like to support underlying theories or topics with real life examples. I think associating and relating the theories with things around makes it easy to apply and understand. I believe in creating learning tasks appropriate to the student’s level of understanding.
I base my teaching method more so on understanding and dissecting questions rather than memorising course work. This gives students a distinct advantage as it allows for lateral thinking, a very useful and beneficial skill. Each lesson is customised to your needs and will focus on what you want to achieve in both the short term and the long term.
My teaching method is to know the difficulties faced by the student first, then based on that, give detail but simple explanations of the key concepts or theory behind it. I will focus on the understanding of basic and important concepts and formulas first, then guide students to apply their knowledge and skills of the concepts to solve questions.
Catering for individual needs is a cornerstone of my teaching. Not every student learns in the same way and it's my business to tailor my program to meet your needs. Each lesson is carefully structured to build on prior knowledge while giving you challenge every time. I use examples, images and analogies to help you remember the concepts you have been introduced to.
Previously, I've taught students my age, and juniors. And coming across those which find a subject difficult, I learnt to get back to the basics. My philosophy in teaching is conceptual, but I believe in achieving that goal through discussion rather than just memorizing the textbook. If a student does not understand the basics and does not understand a reason, then their concept is not clear.
Hi, my lessons are structured in different ways so as to meet the needs of my students. Our initial lesson will involve an assessment of your particular needs in the subject area you need help with. My teaching style is relaxed and friendly.
we all learn differently and I am sure that the issues that we work the hardest to understand do not generate a bit of rejection. the method that I propose is: 1. I receive from you what is a topic to discuss and possible concerns on which I should focus so as not to explain what you already know. 2 I develop the theme and see which is the best option to expose it.
Teaching is not my profession, it's my passion. I have been tutoring privately for the past 7 years now. I excel in all the subjects related to business and finance. I have been a university student for 6 years so I understand the pain and remedies to this.
My teaching method is mostly addressing your homework or thesis topic by having constructive discussions about it. We can also do some research together. Time will fly and you get a second and professional opinion on your work. Either at your place or at mine, I live in Williamstown.
I approach topics with a pragmatic approach. If the approach does not include how it can apply to your life in a tangible way that might help you get a foot forward or towards a job - then I've failed. My goal is pragmatism.
My teaching method is flexible to the needs of the student and I strongly believe in 'learning by doing'. By applying theories to real-world scenarios, I help students to grasp key concepts faster and more effectively. Generally, I will help a student with a particular topic, briefly discussing its elements and then completing worked examples/questions.
