Curiosity and exploring makes up my dance classes...throughout we will discover your own dance as a form of expression. A little something different is what I like to throw in, together with always having something for you to take away.
My choreography process is an emotional experience for both myself and the dancers involved. I encourage dancers to check in with themselves in order to personally identify with the overall message of the piece so that the performance is an authentic presentation. I also encourage students to bring their troublesome emotions into class to be released.
My teaching method is based around safety and strengthening as I get my students ready for performing and competing. My students are respectful and encouraging towards each other, I look forward to what my students bring to my classes every week.
My teaching methodology is practice, focus with elements of fun are crucial to developing a growing dancers mind. Especially in younger dancers, keeping things changing while still focusing on fundamentals is key. I like to challenge dancers with different movement vocabularies to broaden their view of what dance can be.
I am all about providing quality training to students with a fun and positive approach. Its a tough industry, so being serious and dedicated is necessary. Hard work and determination will always pay off.
The reason I love teaching is that I get to pass on not only my extensive knowledge but my passion for expression, creativity and fitness through movement. My classes build a strong technical foundation in order for you to excel in any genre, but in a way that doesn't take away from the joy and fun that dance should bring to your life.
I teach a range of styles including, Contemporary dance, Ballet, Jazz and specific event choreography (eg Weddings, flash mobs, parties). I can focus my lessons on specific techniques required for each lesson.
For my classes it is very important that my students understand and understand very well what I am dictating to them.
I take private dance lessons to teach dance competition solos/duos or to assist with technique and flexibility. My lessons can be conducted on a casual or weekly basis to suit the dancers schedule. I love to work with experienced and new dancers.
Every lesson would be perfectly designed to each student keeping in mind his/her preferences. It is essential to develop techniques to keep the body healthy and avoid injuries. We’re going to travel around the body possibilities and connect with it having a great time.
My teaching method is through writing and practical exams.
The best convenient method preferred by the student.I will suggest more practise than words . Practise makes things perfect. I will train the the student being a friend not as a senior or a teacher. Will be loyal and trust worthy.
Teaching Modern and Contemporary, I would go through Limon and Graham Technics. For Hip-Hop teaching, I can teach Old School Hip-Hop, Est Coast U.S.A. I can teach the basics of Locking/Popping and waking, West Coast Hip-Hop U.S.A. I would always talk about history before starting to teach a new group. It's the base for me. I will always start my classes with Dance Technics, including the warm-up.
I like to keep my classes light and ALWAYS fun. With a level of respect hard work will come forward. Assisting technique, fitness and performance quality in a supportive, encouraging and fun environment. For me, always gave the best results.
I enjoy teaching all levels and all abilities all I ask is that you give it your best shot and make the effort in class and you will see results. A typical class would be - 20 minutes warm up - 20 minutes technical focus - 20 minutes choreography.
On offer are solo or group lessons in the following styles/syllabus of dance: ballet (RAD & ATOD), jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, modern, national/character & traditional Greek. I can also offer stretch/flexibility/strengthening classes & guided meditation/relaxation.
I like to teach completely based around the individual. I am able to run private lessons for RAD students to better their technique before exams. I can also run private lessons for students wanting classical or contemporary solos for competitions.
The way I teach is adapted to meet each student's personal needs and capabilities. The lesson typically starts with a warm up and stretch and then focuses on what the student is wanting to improve/learn whether this be solos, technique etc.
The teaching method would depend on the style of dance and level of dancer, but each class would consist of a warm up, center work, and small combinations to practice. I believe every dancer has their own area they excel in which would be highlighted and we would work together to make the dancer comfortable doing all moves.
Classes will always start with a warm up. That will be followed by technique and then move into learning some choreography. I am a very demonstrative teacher and never rush my students through learning technique or a new step.
I like to really focus on technique and ensuring that the student is doing the correct movement with proper technique as to ensure they do not cause injury or create bad habits.
I am a Flinders student from Europe and I've been dancing for many years now. I've done rhythmic gymnastics, ballet, contemporary and jazz dance with numerous awards and national and european competitions. I've worked with Russian, Bulgarian, Latvian and Croatian instructors and can teach beginners and dancers with experience.
My teaching method is about having fun & enjoying the gift of dance. Dance is a gift we give to ourselves. For there is magic in movement. (my favourite quote) it's about growth, & getting to know yourself. An experience... Oh & learning new moves.
My method is all about having fun, I love to see people leave with smiles on there faces, that’s what I love
Depending on the end goal. I want my students to be confident and walk out of the studio having had a great time and feeling fit, healthy and keen to come back.
My teaching method is always different. Depends on students experience. But i always start from body stretch and muscle training then after that start from body control.
First of all, If students want to become real dancers, not just hobby, I always wait for students til they find their own way to express the moves, it must be difficult to find their own dancing moves but they always end up finding it. And if dancing is their hobby, I make new choreographies, fitting their levels.
My teaching methodology is based upon innovative teaching and learning - adapting to the learner's needs and the environment. We live in a time where it is fast-paced, with the rise in technology and access to possibilities, for future generations. It is a given that educators are teaching students of the future, who may undertake jobs that are non-existent today.
I am a professional dancer, performer and dance teacher. In love with movement, music and dance. I consider myself an endless student, devote to daily practice.
