I adapt each lesson to the abilities and needs of the individual student and what they wish to achieve - I tend to use each piece the student learns as a stepping stone in learning the techniques that they will eventually use to teach themselves.
Being a young individual myself, I am able to easily connect with younger students, and also have experience in childcare and youth work. In saying this however, I do not exclude mature age students from my tutelage, and am comfortable and confident in conversing with older pupils.
