I base my lessons on the basics of reading, speaking and writing chinese with each variety evenly focused on so that the student can become all rounded in chinese, if there is a focus that he/ she wants to concentrate on i will make plans on that as well.
My teaching methodology is to base on the Chinese culture. First, I will find a festival , a short article or a picture about Chinese culture. Later on, I will try to explain in the very simple Chinese and teach some of the difficult words. Finally, we can try to discuss this topic in Chinese using the words we learn.
My teaching method consists of a lot of practical learning, hearing them read back to be and watching them write the characters correctly. It also involves repetition to ensure that the words and phrases have been understood and fully learnt.
I am patient, helpful. I am always trying to help people with good attitude. I think good attitude help students not to be stressful and it will help them speak out the problem. Communication is also very important to me.
I use student-centered teaching model, teachers and students play an equally active role in the learning process. My teaching method is to first understand the level that my students at and how I can help to improve their Chinese skills. If someone is having trouble I will do my best to help them. If someone can't understand something I will try and explain it in another way.
