- My Lessons & Teaching Style - 1. My lessons are generally culture-oriented, with some improvisations, new ideas, news, Internet slang, movies and books, and intercultural elaborations in each class - keeping it light and fun. 2. A trial class is highly recommended before starting formal courses.
I will quickly assess the student's current level, from there we would work through new characters and grammar accordingly. I have done this myself and know what is important and what can be put aside for the time being.

- Combining the cultural background with the language teaching is the most important thing that I believe. By showing my life experience in different countries, students will be able to understand why Chinese and Japanese talk in that way. That's how to become an authentic foreign language speaker.

I am pretty flexible with classes according to the students’ needs. Having been through Chinese classes and exams, I understand how it’s like to struggle and learn a new language, and also how to study it in order to score well.
