I like to approach the subject topic by topic. We start with the first topic in the first lesson. After you understand it, you will do some practice, which I will examine. In the second lesson I will give you feedback on your practice and we will start the next topic. If a topic is hard, we can obviously take two lessons to tackle this challenge.
When I was in my high school, which is for gifted student only, my major was maths. I was also interested in Physics and Chemistry, and quite good on them. In the national test to run into University, my mark was 28/30, which is the highest one in my province, and I am confident that I will bring you the good results not only for your study but also your thinking process.
My teaching philosophy focuses on leadership and engagement. I believe an effective teacher is a great leader who is open minded and not afraid to show vulnerability. Engaging students is essential for the learning process and a focus on student improvement at all times is key to educational success.
My teaching method is face to face referring to self prepared notes. I prefer making the individual learn through video demostrations and practice. I am dedicated in making the students understand the concepts and educate each individual adapting to their own method of learning.
I'm a doctor by profession and recently decided to get post graduate qualification.
My PASS classes I held had a lesson plan, but was entirely flexible depending on what the students wanted to cover in that lesson. These worked best when students brought problems they were struggling with, as they were more engaged during the lesson.
Personalized approach to suit the students pattern of thinking. The same concept can be interpreted diversely, it is often this that makes a student fall back as they simply don't understand the tutors interpretation of it. This is why I consider it important to follow a personalized approach not just for the student in question but from concept to concept.
I base my lessons specifically on what topics the student needs help and/or struggling with. Each student learns differently so my lessons will be catered towards them. I prefer to do one-on-one lessons so that you get the most out of a lesson, but willing to teach groups (max. of 4) for cheaper rates.
I am a listener, then explore knowledge and wants of my pupils. After initial help if needed I will give home work. Self learning with help is best. When you can teach yourself you will need less assistance. I will be your guide.
My focus would always be to remove any doubt that comes to your mind even if I have to research a lot on it and give the students a proper understanding of the concept so that you can solve any problem based on it.
I have good communication skills, confident, enthusiastic, encouraging, punctual, creative and disciplined person. I have vast teaching experience of Primary level.
My teaching method is based around the students way of learning. I believe everyone learns differently and for the best outcome it is important to have the best method. For younger students it’s important to maintain their concentration and interest. I use sheets from past teachers, my own makings and the interenet. I will make sure I explain things until a level of understanding is achieved.
I love to teach people with the practical examples of real world. Everything we see and think is definitely exist in nature thus if we use to correlate the learning to visible things with proper example then the learning became fun. I always follow this rule of nature.
I base my lessons on what the student needs. Of course I always like to start with some sort of background of the topic the student needs help with to ensure that they will be able to have a full understandment.
My approach is to strengthen the student's foundation first which means emphasizing and working on the concepts first then building upon it by solving different types of practical examples. I first observe/assess the student to see his/her understanding of the topic and then decide my teaching approach which is if I could be more technical or need to explain things in a much simpler way.
I am a kind of teacher who's main aim is to make students get a firm grip on the basic concepts and help them to use that knowledge to build upon other concepts and skills.
I would say practice and repetition are essential to mastering Mathematics, and the basics and fundamentals of maths are often overlooked in Years 11-12 as it becomes expected knowledge.
I am available to tutor on Monday and Tuesday afternoons as well as Saturday mornings. I would be able to teach students of varying abilities and age levels in anything up to Year 12 General Mathematics and Year 11 Chemistry. My lessons would mainly involve working through allocated classroom work with students and explaining it in a clear and concise manner.
I like to teach in a very friendly and amiable manner, promoting an environment where the student feels free to ask questions and engage in conversations about the subject being taught as he/she would do with a friend. I try to relate the lessons being taught to things you observe in your day to day life as I think this makes it easier for students to remember things.
Before the lesson I would expect the student to tell me the area they wish to look at that week. I would read around this area, therefore being prepared for the class. At the start of each lesson, we would spend a short time reviewing what was said the previous week.
The teaching methodology is designed according to the students. Usually, there are two types of teaching methods. The first one is aimed to solve all kinds of questions or troubles in the maths or physics studying. This also includes guiding students to finish homework. The other type is aimed to learn new knowledge based on textbooks.
I teach by using real world examples and applications. I keep very organised and colourful notes and diagrams to engage students that may have trouble understanding from their teachers. A typical lesson may start with background knowledge, moving into applications, and then answering some practice questions.
I generally try to understand the basic level of the student and work accordingly. Usually , I start with the basics and make sure they understand and learn the basics , so that their foundation is strong enough. I give them homework and make them practice the topics.
Always the best method to success in maths is applying logic. My methodology is to teach the students how to achieve those logics. Because, we cannot step into the last step first. We need to climb each steps with care.
my teaching philosophy is based on student requirements. I will cover every point with clarity and precision.
Myself a PhD student at ISEM, Innovation Campus Uni Wollongong. Basically I am a chemical engineer with Nanotechnology and materials related background .I am currently doing my research in Lithium ion batteries bit more focused on material science. But I can handle all subjects related to physical and chemical sciences even with basic mathematics.
My philosophy in the classroom is centred around students achieving their personal best in a positive and supportive learning environment. I recognise that all students are different; their learning styles are different, their interests are different, and they are all going to achieve to a variety of levels.
I am a big fan of creating shortcuts in order to teach a difficult topic. I believe it is important to see problems for what they are in smaller chunks, in order to facilitate easier learning. I also believe in the power of doing numerous practice questions in order to hone one's understanding of the topic - and ultimately achieve better results.
My teaching method focuses on the student teaching me about a particular topic or formula. I believe that if the student is able to explain a particular concept to me then he/or she understand the topic themselves. If not then I will assist the student in anyway possible to make sure he /or she is not only able to memorize concepts but be able to apply these concepts in everyday settings.
My teaching lessons are fairly relaxed. Simply show me your current homework, syllabus or tell me anything you would like me to go over you with and I will explain it as best I can. I ensure that you know exactly what the syllabus is asking and I put emphasis on questions which are the most likely to be asked in a test.
