I have a technique that is so simple you will wonder how more teachers don't teach it but I've never heard of anyone that does.
My teaching is usually in a systematic manner which begins by setting a clear lesson goal where I plan and prepare myself on what I want my students to learn during each lesson. Then I start my lessons by telling/sharing information and knowledge while showing them relevant pictures and videos which I believe gives a greater impact.
I always try to explain the theory by using fun experience in the simplest way. Before starting the new section, I always remind the old knowledge in 5-10 min. The key knowledge will be summarized at the end. My method can help the students to remember the knowledge instead of memorizing.
Every student is unique; hence I always try to find the best approach for each one of them. In general, I start by explaining the fundamentals of the course studied and then gradually elaborate and discuss the contents with the student.
Knowledge and time are two the most important things in our life. Gaining knowledge is both energy consuming and time consuming therefore time allocated should be enough for fun and lesson. The process is interactive thus each and everybody should contribute.
Students will be instructed clearly on the subject material, then made to do examples until they've gotten the concept fully. As a student myself, I have found 'cheat sheets' (constructed based on an "ideal" answer) to be helpful, and students will be given the opportunity to make their own/view mine instead of searching for answers through a clutter of textbook/online resources.
I am a Bio-technologist having an experience of at-least six years of tutoring. I am a keen and passionate person for teaching students. I am looking for the students who are not good at science or mathematics subject and are looking for the guidance to solve their problems. I can teach students of any level specially 10 grade students.
A dynamic and self-motivated person carving for challenges. I have ability and desired to work in fast paced environment, to take responsibility and work as a team. To work cross functionally to resolve technical, procedural and operational issues. Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skill. Analytical Problem solving skill based on my strong academic background.
I like giving the right kind of guidance and attention to my students. It's important to identify each student's learning pace and cater for it accordingly.
My teaching methodology is based on feynman technique. Before I start tutoring, I measure the students strengths and weakness. In addition to that, I will outline the topics to be dealt. In my teaching, I will explain the use of concepts in our daily life.
topic by topic. concept based. complete course. solving past papers. solving problems. working on each topic. teaching with ease. clear concepts. building concepts. Smooth style. making students clever and smart at solving challenging problems.
I understand that each individual is unique and requires learning at their own pace. My teaching style is one that seeks to employ creative techniques and visual aids to help students understand concepts. I will want to find the key areas a student requires help with.
I have 10+ years of tutoring experience, mainly on maths and science subjects. I can observe the weakness of children and created some funny stories for helping them memorize the knowledge, often cheer them up through linking maths/ science to their daily lives. I have taught from kindergarten to high school students. For kindergarten and primary students, I mainly focus on language subjects.
I'm not a old fashioned teacher and a person who would like to listen students and work according to their requirement. I believe, teacher direct and motivate students to learn. Teacher has the responsibility to craft the students and support them when they need help. He should be a good mentor and need to provide new strategies and techniques to understand subject matters correctly and easily.
I am someone who detest memorizing, and thus perform better when I understand the concept, and apply it to problems. As such, I wish to help students to grasp the concepts needed. My lesson will be loosely structured, focusing more on the problems each individual faces and work from there.
I will be teaching or rather helping students in areas of Algebra which from my experience is a subject where a lot of students fail to understand the underlying principle and my goal is to help them understand why we learn Algebra at all. Geometry which is often regarded as easy can also be very tricky and my goal is to help students find their way around those obstacles.
I am an engineering student who has taken all kinds of math subjects from arithmetic to calculus , I have tutored high school kids before and I am very keen on making my classes interesting and entertaining, but at thie same time informative and useful.
I break down complex topics to simpler terms in order to make students understand what exactly I am teaching. I find it convenient to hold frequent assessments so the students can revise previously conducted topics and progress through their course more easily.
My entire focus is just to make the topic clear rather than just covering it. I use lots of examples and diagrams to make the topic clear to the student. Solving questions really help students in making a topic more clear. I really make this subject easy one which seems very difficult to students.
I break down difficult problems and scenarios into fundamental concepts that are easy to visualise. Understanding the reason behind wanting to solve a problem is often the biggest hurdle in approaching problem solving. I make this easy by using visual aids like diagrams and pictures as well as simple yet highly relevant analogies.
Easy going methodology, take each and every student together and make studies fun. I understand how some times particular subjects are difficult for an Individual and appreciate solving doubts even in the middle of class. Healthy discussion is a key for group of students.
I am new to tutor job but I worked a Quality chemist in the pharmaceutical company for 2 years. During my college days, I use to take lectures to my juniors and got good appreciations for my teaching skills, by considering that confidence am starting this new journey.
I cater each student according to their individual understanding of the course and if required go through the basics which will help students get a good grasp of the subject. The lesson structure is simple and efficient and aimed to target the specific topics which the student lacks a understanding of.
My teaching method is from first principles. I will endeavour to teach critical thinking methods, and a specialised 5 step engineering method to solving mathematics or analysis problems. I am happy to help students solve any problem from homework to assignments, however, I will not do the work for you. I will teach you how to do it.
I have good communication and leadership skills. Therefore, any student can follow my lessons. I follow NSW syllabus outcomes and relevant textbooks for teaching. I start from unit 1 which is the simplest and go for advanced topics.
My teaching methods is giving lessons by providing logical thinking and understanding towards a subject. Also, by surfing the internet for some practical in order to make student more understand and interested towards the subject which is being taught at the moment.
Having tutored students of various abilities previously, no lesson is ever the same. As explained they are personallised so that it may involve going over tests, homework, content learnt in class that makes no sense, practical write ups, research tasks, really it comes down to what you as my student need.
I prefer teaching kids from age 4 to 10, but older kids are also welcomed. For younger kids teaching strategy include engaging them in playful manner and teaching them simultaneously like with rhymes and other stuff. For older kids, teaching strategy include first making them understand the topic and then doing example questions with them to ensure they are totally grasping the concept.
My teaching methodology is realistic and i like teaching by examples related to daily life. I relate the chem concepts with daily life examples to make students learn these concepts effectively. Then I also give appropriate worksheets for students to give them good practice.
I believe as a tutor we must know the subject well. I am able to teach the subject in a fashion that the student can understand and apply. In addition, i am courteous and have a friendly personality so the student feels comfortable asking questions and does not feel bad if he or she does not get the material quickly.
